Best Emancipate Poems
Oh beloved,
I'm like Rumi without Shams.
A shivering summer soul,
secretly stalked by wild white winter wolves.
A chiffon child chiselling chimerical calligraphy,
cursed with invisible ink, silent in sentimental sighs.
I've become the son of solitude,
tired from torture and torment,
descending like surreal sinking sunsets shaded in scarlet,
yearning for a dawn where we can blend like sunrise.
I have no desire to write, but you cut my veins to bleed.
What is pain without pleasure,
or a poet without his poetess?
Oh mistress of the night,
I'll forever wait for you to adorn my garden,
to finally inhale the fragrance of my roses.
I'm the oil lamp in all your blackness,
sometimes I may flicker like a candle,
but I will always reignite to create a spark.
The day you stop reading my musings,
my pen will forever slumber.
Oh daughter of darkness,
let me salvage your light, place it into your eyes.
Guide my quill to engrave upon your shores.
Together we will sail away from Satan's spawn.
I'll shield you from twilight's beasts,
protect you from demons with crimson claws,
emancipate your wings to fly from an illusionary island.
Because,
you love the moon, but it's the stars you gaze at,
hoping their stardust will illuminate your heart,
before they fade into nothingness.
Oh my seclusive sweetheart,
I will strum strings of serenity,
so you release tears of tranquillity.
I may not be the most handsome blossom,
nor the most popular prolific poet,
but I gift you my art and alliteration.
Some may say I'm romantic,
but I am no judge of what is exotic or poetic.
We can't put all our faith in petals and poetry.
I'm no emperor who deserves an enchanting empress,
merely a broken butterfly in your precious palms.
Life is an absent bride,
so I'm not afraid to bleed to death,
in the hope of soothing tomorrows.
Silent One
4 December 2022
Yes, that is the role of the Teacher, as Shams was to
me – showing one ‘who they are’, so they can stop
bleating, crying at night, and never again be afraid.

Above the sky
Is a dream
That comes to my
Distant shore.
Here's a little, formula ,
I hope all. Can
Endure.
Keep your dreams
Nurish them.
Compound it in
Your soul.
Seal it in a destiny
Box,
forever you Will hold.
Confine & patent it,
Replace it in your mind
Preserve & restore it
True love you, will find
Meditate, with prayers
Keep it refreshed,
Revived & new.
No matter how diminished
At times,
Dreams do follow through.
Let not age, gender, race or
Where your from.
Hinder you.
Never believe, for a second
Its unattainable.
Channel, create, & formulate
The self esteem, in you.
No matter how simply small
Or enormously big it may be.
Throw it in the stratosphere
For all the stars to see.
Memorize, emancipate, your
Own prophecy.
The destiny is self fullfilled
If only you believe.
Think with an open heart,
There's something, out there
To achieve.
Come in humble spirits,
It is there for you.
Keep dreams to yourself
Bind it to your core.
Never relinquish the dream
You have.
Keep it safe & secure.
This is the most important
Detail, I must say to you.
As selfish, as it may seem.
To hold a fragile dream in
Your palms,
Can be destroyed, before
It starts.
When verbally rendered
In the wrong hands
May take away that
Special chance.
For it is meant to be
Gods gracious gift,
Indefinitely
Created souly for you!!!
In times where eyes are fixated at your sins,
judgment trolls in deceptive double standards.
When pointing fingers nobody really wins,
there's no joy in being defamed and slandered.
Swimming in an aquarium full of fins,
sharks will bite your flesh then leave you abandoned.
Scars will bleed with pain making you feel brittle,
hard hearts will laugh with insults that belittle.
Afraid of exposure honest souls retreat,
when their character's stereotyped by lies.
Frenemies hide behind a mask of deceit,
their envy is an embarrassing disguise.
Decline the pedestal they place on your feet
emancipate from enslavements that chastise.
Stay clear from those who act like a spirit thief,
growth from ignoring spite gives you self belief.
Mama I want to be a star
I want to grace stages that host the world's revered faces
Fantasies shameless my pipe dreams contagious
I want to be famous
Not one for fictional frivolity
I speak of what's in front of me
A new city called Poetry,
I watched as the has-beens soaked their dreams in sewage streams
Unphased by rodent plagues
These ones embrace their own rat race
I still try to navigate the avenues
Negotiate the ones and twos and find a way to tell the truth
Young and unstable I stumble in the giant footprints of those who stood before me
Tip toe on verbal terrain as desperately I pray the weight of immaturity won't bury me,
Admittedly this spoken world is new to me
-But-
Is it possible in any way the gift of verse will carry me?
I see me breaking grounds, earth shattering and in my dreams these words resound
I'll turn cacophony into somewhat of a sacred sound
I want to craft phrases that serenade, deliver sweet-somethings that emancipate
I want, in some way to bring meaning to confusion
Dear world of poetry
Sometimes when they're floored I'm in awe of how my flow's flawless, I hear applause no pauses, waving arms and stinging palms bear tribute to those timeless charms, classic tales still bent with intent to succumb to new pens
Pave way for insecurity
For fear of gift escaping me
See I fail to write when I'm trying to
I get it right with no intention to
Am I...within my right to claim potential true?
Tear ink off her hinges, her blue ball point cringes
Left hand in debt
My blank page bereft
But in the back of my mind
I see standing ovations and soul drenched invasions..
I want to pierce every being I encounter,
I want to penetrate faith, tear doubt asunder,
Let me to speak to the valleys
negotiate peaks and make friends with epitome
I want to part oceans and in the grips of my - pause - tempt emotions,
mold momentum to set in motion the wheels of adoption so that poetry.....may adapt herself for me
I want to write poetry, I want to speak
I want to reach within,
pen something...
A remote reflection of her
This...this brand new city
I present this piece as fantasy
when in all reality
I do hope she's prepared for me
"Consistency"

Contemplate, debate hate
Rate state magistrates
Mate great fates
Wait....date late
Deflate straight weight
Emancipate inmate traits
Dissipate irate gates
Indicate! Investigate! Litigate!
Incarcerate? Degradate? Incinerate?
Rejuvenate! Captivate! Demonstrate!
Innovate! Motivate! Fascinate!
Anticipate! Dedicate! Articulate!
Communicate....congratulate....exonerate
Infiltrate....penetrate....interrogate
Implicate! Detonate! Annihilate!
Separate? Segregate? Disintegrate!
Nothing for Something
What filled your footsteps cannot
Fill mine, yes, a wave does not
Break twice, but do you think
I too have not risen when lured
By the hopes of vacant promises; inured
The rage of empty shelves?
“Free beer tomorrow”, the Pols perennial tout,
"We’ll fill your still-empty mugs with stout,
Then charge it to some other sucker’s tab."
Like poachers back to the same pond
Each season for the harvest, your bond
For the count is assumed.
Do you not see their willful blind,
The guns swinging upward to find
Your range?
How many generations will comply
Before just one dares to deny
The users’ their presumption?
That fire raging from the double cross
Can cleave the element from the dross
And emancipate your art.

Perish the thought
For I can see
The loneliness in me
Silence to my mind
Has brought
A longing to be free
Free from danger
Free from trust
Free from things I feel
Emancipate my soul
And banish all things real
Perish thoughts that torment me
And grind them down to dust
Redefine my tangled mind
And gather what I must
Gather feeling
Gather need
Gather all things real
Reimburse my empty heart
And allow my soul to heal
Utilize your time wisely
Do not waste it away
Moments come and go accordingly
Make the best of every day
Have it on your mind
To achieve your goal
Empower yourself respectfully
And emancipate your soul
Is this world made only for males?
Even History talks about 'His' Story only,
But I am the creator,
The creator should rule her creations,
I am the Master of this magnificent world,
Not a slave or serf to the feudal men,
Power never goes with gender,
Your prowess lies only in your cognizance,
Facing Dictators for years and years,
I have learnt to write my own fate,
This domination and suppression for ages,
Has sculptured my thoughts sharp,
Though manist needles stitched my mouth,
And tied my tongue with despotic credo,
Nothing can stop my hubristic thoughts,
Never the dry winds can swallow the mighty ocean,
Denial of self respect is denial of life,
Why confine me to a scullery?
When you can eat why not cook?
When you can wear why not wash?
When you can force why not follow?
This celestial sphere is boundless,
Immense and unfathomable,
My dreams are same,
Measureless and undefined
Your arbitrary chains can never pull my aspirations,
When you curtail, an inch grows more,
Discrimination for generations,
Pricked by Rape, Dowry and Adultery,
Wounds and sores all over burn,
But never the heads of male chauvinists turn
From time immemorial I was ruined,
Female foeticide and infanticide always rule,
Tradition and custom hinders my way,
Antiquated and rusted walls erected all around,
My cry for freedom hardly touches the blind ears,
But the gravel hearted men always begrudges,
Disparages and denigrates me,
Am I so inferior in your eyes?
With my muliebrity I brought you to this world,
With my muscularity I can bring this world under me,
Who are you to reserve my rights?
Now I Emancipate myself from your clutches
My wings are wide and extensive,
They are not to flap and fan your royal slumber,
I wanna fly high,
Across the boundaries,
Reach those alluring skies,
And shout “ I am the most powerful creation of all”
I am The Women.
Colorful Sins.
What should I do with my pain ?
Throw it away again
What have you done with your love
You once told me that it goes above
Above all the limitations of sky
you even painted it, but did it dry ?
Go ahead and wash me with fire
Enjoy my sorrow, it is your smile that I admire
Burn my sins with clean water
And drag my heart to the slattern
Just please let me whisper the sea in your ears
Let it feed your soul with my fears
I shall be a native heart breaker
An international crime maker
Will you Emancipate my soul from sanity
And free my useless body from gravity
Clean my eyes from all that sparkle
Let them participate in the real battle
Explode my hallucinations
Grief on my imagination
You can turn me to ashes
Watch my little heart crashes
Change the architecture of my smile
Rebuilt it in the Greek style
So my laughs will be philosophical thoughts
And we shall be two ghosts
You who hunts my dreams when I an awake
You have always been an ocean, yet I can only be a lake
Sweep my touches softly from your skin
But know that it will become so thin
And then wave me goodbye
Ill bow mull think am just shy
Until you will see these drops falling in the yellow grass
That same grass that used to be green before you pass .
“Penetration”
Baby remember this date
For it could one day be great
Unless you prefer to listen to those who hate
Rather than allowing your heart to decide your fate
Even though your mind will surely debate
For the mind functions as a device to translate
Any condition with which the heart can relate
To determine when it has found its mate
Only then can your heart emancipate
Your body to a point where I can penetrate
It deep enough so that our souls may communicate
On a level powerful enough to alleviate
All the pain the mind and body can stimulate
And from this point, we can never deviate
Because this is any soul’s most blissful state
All because there is no reason to manipulate
Because our souls alone have the power to dictate
And our minds and bodies will only appreciate
Our hearts because they chose to congregate
At a time before it became too late
For both minds and bodies to associate
Before Him so that He can generate
A love that has no choice but to graduate
From a place that hatred previously ate
But love lives on because of our ability to consummate
Which takes more than the knowledge of how to fornicate
Because fornication only requires a physical trait
Whereas consummation is served on a spiritual plate
Therefore it is, in many ways, His mandate
Which is why we should never hesitate
Nor should we ever contemplate
Because only through obedience will His blessings accelerate
Our lives on a path that will never deteriorate
Because His grace can only motivate
Any life, instilling goodness at a Heavenly rate
Therefore it is our job to concentrate
So that we will be able to anticipate
When love begins to precipitate
Over our hearts so that we can congratulate
The new soul that our minds and bodies will create
Which is all He put us here for, no matter how long we have to wait
How many it has sent to Hades
Despite the many aids
Lavished over the ages
Your gender does not exonerate you
Neither does the gene in you
Nor age emancipate you
Who really is to blame?
For AIDS unscrupulous fame
Rendering all efforts lame
We now live in a State of Emergency
Wholly engaged is every agency
Watch what a state of delinquency!
Oh! How bitterly I weep
When I perceived how very deep
The unchecked scourge of its whip
How many died yesterday?
How many will today?
Yet, tomorrow is another day
Maybe or maybe not we live
Hope is what makes us believe
We shall stumble on a lasting relief
You and I have a role to play
For this malady to give way
Give aids with LOVE every day.
I too sing corruption
I waited on the bench
was told no work
reason (mkono mtupu)
yes had no long relative
I sat next to the conductor
comes an officer
wringing their hands
red-pinkish 100 shilling note
(afande chai)
but the vehicle overloaded
I went job-searching
but my less qualified counterpart had it
sexual favors I tell you
My certificates useless
I now clean the streets
In the bureaucrat
I see my tax
I see embezzled funds
several investigations
with no results
The country is mired into corruption
Who will emancipate us???
strong vespers we need.
I really yearn for the times
when fairness will thrive
when we will sing a dirge to corruption.
Mysteries of a passionate warm Summer night.
Obfuscating desolation that weighted my mind.
Raging to conquer my new found love
Needed compassion to emancipate my shackled heart
Insidious my passions compose allegories of my love
Nefarious turns my gentle heart in delirious expectations
Gently my enamoured soul embraces the warm body next to me
Benevolence of a moon lit night and a star spangled sky.
Rejuvenates my hearts desire to be possessed.
Enticed by the warmth of your sweet and tender lips.
Allured by your lingering limbs, and the softness of your breasts.
Kindling my deepest desire in hues of gold and yellow across the sky.
Satiate my amorous dexterity, showering you with ecstasy tenderly,
like the gentle " MORNING BREAKS."
