Best Draco Poems
Grandma, what's a constellation of shapes?
It's the stars your looking at tonight.
See how they're shining bright,
Twinkling, and blinking across the black crape.
You'll need to read Greek and Roman mythology
They're full of legends who had escapades which
Were cloak and dagger kind of scrapes
That put Lupus the Wolf, Orion The Hunter, Draco
The dragon, the big and little dippers in to the
Skies. I hope this is feeding your appetite.
Grandma, what's a constellation of shapes?
It's the stars your looking at tonight.
Grandma, it's cold can I snuggle with you in your
Cape?
Of course you can Joshua. There's so much to
See. I have seen a green Comet and meteorites
That were burning through our atmosphere. Think
Of the story you could write.
If you use your imagination you could have
Quite an adventure among the stars to escape.
Grandma, what's a constellation of shapes?
It's the stars your looking at tonight.
I dreamed of a night for many years
Wandering far from home;
When I could stand and stare at the stars
Silently, on my own.
Head uplifted, eyes open wide;
Points of light eternal
Racing through darkness
Into my eyes.
Desiring nothing
More than this:
To gaze upon the universe
And know its kiss…
Sweet upon my soul within
Lost in limbo there and then;
‘til pierced by the light
(Photons abound)
Filling my soul
With mystery profound.
By gravity’s grace
On this blue and green sphere
Leaving me to wonder
Why everything’s here.
And how long have you traveled
Harbinger of life
Through light years of space
In the dead of night?
Did you begin in the Big Bang
Or perhaps, before then?
Did you see the face of the Creator
And intrinsically know Him?
Or are you a more recent arrival
In the Milky Way Realm?
Did you come from our own
Next door neighbor, the Sun
Or have you traveled farther still,
Out there on the run?
Have you seen other civilizations of people like us
In the distant reaches of time and space
Swarming with stars and planets,
Made from the megalithic turning pin wheels of gasses and dust?
Did you know Andromeda, Orion, Cancer and Crater?
What of Corona Borealis, Draco and Cassiopeia?
Did you fly by Delphinus and Gemini, the Twins,
Past Pegasus and Perseus on your way to Microscopium?
I could ask these kinds of questions
Until time stands still
But we’ll be long gone by then
And I will have never been quite filled
With all of the wonder
Life in this Universe brings
Me to the end of another good day
Far better than the best of all dreams.
A poem I shall attempt to write of heavenly delight,
About all the wonders that shine deep in the night.
There is so much more than the Moon and stars above,
From the earliest navigators that fell heavily in love.
All those that sailed across all the known seas,
They all relied on the stars and many of these.
Often they would follow the morning and evening star,
Just one of five planets that they knew of so far.
Mostly guided by many and many they certainly knew,
Galileo saw much beauty in the Southern Cross too.
The Earth spinning at one thousand and forty miles per hour,
Still, they could master the art of using star power.
So what could they do when a storm came through?
Just stay at the helm and keep the wheel true.
And what could they do if the wind blew them off course?
Pray to the heavens that their sails could take the force.
For life as a sailor meant much more than hard labour,
They had to read stars in constellations to favour.
Forty-eight constellations before eighteen hundred and eighty-eight,
They existed well before the others gathered at a later date.
Then becoming eighty-eight constellations for a general to know,
And used the Pole Stars that never disappeared as they go.
Using particular stars that would always rise and set,
Knowing portside and starboard and which side they met.
In the third century BC, the Greeks used the Little Bear,
These days called Ursa Minor, now navigated from there.
Once Draco was closest to the North Pole than Polaris,
Between Ursa Major and Ursa Minor are the stars over Paris.
The sextant became the most used instrument for navigation,
Before then they had to understand the winds interpretation.
Today a compass is used with the true direction of North,
Every ship you will find has one that leaves every wharf.
But a star gazing soul has no use for a compass rose,
They'd rather get lost and just follow their nose.
For there is something to be said for this lost ancient art,
And I'm sure a true sailor is born with stars in his heart.
If we could cross the sunset skies,
We'd never need a place to lie,
Finding ourselves above all else,
We could fly until the end of time.
But what goes up must also come down,
Although in spirit form we shall be joined,
So fly we will for all eternity,
Perhaps we'll find our true energy.
On a serpent's tail, we'll ride till then on Draco,
And float down the river of Eridanus,
Ride on the winged horse of Pegasus,
Visit the harp of Lyra and gaze at Vega.
Stay in the summer triangle with Aquila,
Then off to the winter triangle to gaze at Sirius,
With so many wonders in all the constellations,
We may even find if all the myths are true.
But if they aren't I'll still have my star you.
Once upon a time, a bold knight started his quest
That led him to the fearsome beast's enclave,
Radiant in an armor of courage shining like gold
Where the Dragon roared from disturbed sleep,
As vile creature spewed blasts of heated flame,
Unsettling the master's gait down to the rocks.
But the hero regained fast with his shield, mighty
As lightning, and charged the dragon once, twice;
To where the barbed point struck a monster's chest...
Undaunted, this giant Draco retaliated in haste
Lashing out talons upon our hero's smaller form,
While the mad creature drew it most lethal blow
Now causing the noble knight to fall into a daze.
O, his loyal unicorn retrieved his master's sword
That angered the dragon, anew, reeling a fire...
With his steed alive through chroming on its head
In daring rush, brave knight punctured enemy's sides
Aiming at Draco's eyes, the poison found there;
Like a whip, the empire's villain met its death:
And gallant victor pulled the dragon's head
Which he offered to the king-- a prized endowment,
As for our warrior... dearest princess, his bride!

Mythical Greek characters can be seen in the sky
Orion, the giant huntsman, draws back his bow
The constellation Cygnus, is said to be Zeus in disguise
Draco, the dragon appears in the big Dipper's glow
The Romans gave us Luna, she lights up the night
Her glow spins stories of passsion and romance
The constellation Hercules, shines its bright light
In the west or the east you may see Venus by chance
Aquarius, the water bearer, inspired a song
Perseus, who slew Medusa, is seen on high
His wife, princess Andromeda, is among the celestial throng
As Pegasus, who carried thunder for Zeus, spread his wings to fly!

A white spot in the clouds,
a sunflower heavy with seed,
grass too long, should I mow it,
and a blackbird’s wing colours red,
limps on the path and if heavier
crisp snail shells would echo each skip.
Draco, the tomcat eyes me pleased:
only the blackbird bleeds to death.
Santa Claus hired a dragon, Donnie Draco
to bring shy elves out of their cocoons;
he trains them to deliver the presents,
as meeting humans for them, is not pleasant.
Humans are huge and tower over elves,
and they would prefer just to sit on shelves.
Donnie's courage lends them strength;
don't worry, he keeps them at arm's length.
Donnie takes them around to stores,
to meet children, by the scores.
Sometimes a push or urging one needs,
to help a shy elf to proceed.
The kids just love to see old Donnie;
Santa thinks a Christmas Dragon's funny.
Well, really, truly yes, it is;
it lends a dimension to this seasonal biz.
And when these little elves are broken in,
Donnie goes home to visit with his kin;
high in the mountains of the North Pole,
in a cave called, "The Old Dragon Hole".
So if at Christmas, in a store you see,
a dragon the size of a Christmas tree
and tiny, shy elves that he is training,
do try not to end up fainting.
For Donnie's kind is a peaceful lot,
really though, if you think not,
just look inside yourself and see,
that deep with us all, a dragon be.
Andromeda said you were Delphinius
And so first I sought you there.
Questioned and marking Pegasus
Aquarius was quite aware…
That its noon in the summertime air.
.
Draco watched as the dial went round
Wondering when they’d see the sound
.
And so I turned and jumped the dipper
Skipping along to the Leo’s Minor
Knowing in between the Lynx and Hydra
Is a day and a name that would point to the Major
.
Draco ET URSA MINOR… a reminder
To find Her while the earrings are singing
CameLeoPardalis, knot a wall Russ
But a cat Ocelot … ComeAlot she did;

He is lifted above the deserted wilderness as a snake
His tail is the starlight river that flows into delight
Christ bursts forth the brightest river so every pearl can return home
(Inspired by the teaching by the ancient Gnostic sect the "Peratics" that Christ opened a door to paradise through the draco constellation)
Crafted in a fine web like
Gossamer design...
DREAMWORK on a star stream
In a timeless circle, circling the
Great nebula divine, third eye
Projection, rowing in stardust
And in the river of Eridanus...
Well the dream has just begun
Like a comet on the run and
More DREAMWORK to come...
You dance the dance of the
Ancient ones that came from
Andromeda long, long ago as
The wild, wild winds blow across
The foothills of Draco...
Crafted in a fine web of a
Gossamer design in silver and
Gold...
Well the dream has just begun
Like a comet on the run and more
DREAMWORK still to come!
Sons and daughters of Draco,
Born of fire,
Embodiment of the Sun,
Soul of the Moon.
Time for our memories to return,
The Earth has whispered.
Mountains shall crumble,
And oceans shall rage.
Draco’s prophet has laid down the law,
All now be with all that fall.
The Goddess weeps in her grave,
A flower falls into hearts she’s saved.
Blessed are they who stand in peace,
Against all odds they now face.
A deep wooded valley, heavily condensed with enriching moisture, and more importantly, teeming with an assortment of life, of every size, shape, and species. One such life just awoke and has spread its delicate see-through sheen-like white wings. It is looking up at the star-laden night sky. It oo's and ah's at the splendor of it. Out of nowhere, a dragonfly says his name is Draco.
The little one said that she was Dolanica, and he told her that all of her kind was named that. Like all of his kind were named Draco too, and that they were a distant cousin. He said that his name was actually, Draco the pesky and that she is a Mayfly like her second cousin, but then she was the rarer ones. She said that someone is here for her and that she'll be right back, and in a flash, she returned. Draco asked if she was done and she told him that there was one more thing.
Then in a flash, she was all done. Draco asked where she put them, and she pointed to a large turned up tree trunk. She told him that they are all safe and sound. Draco told her, he will be with her second cousins, a bit later. She asked Draco if he can hop on his back cause she was too weak to fly up over the top of the trees.
So up they went, then in a weakened voice, she asks if that was the moon, he told her that it was the moon. She told him that she was glad to spend her entire life with him and didn't find him to be pesky at all. Lastly, she told him that she will see him on the other side, and he told her, "you too kiddo!" A dragonfly is seen hovering over a large fallen tree trunk, whispering that they are all okay.
A body draped under two folded wings is seen fading in the distance as a dragonfly part.
*Dolania americana: Have no digestive system because of their five minutes of life on Earth, too short of a life span to eat or drink, for their sole purpose is to breed for the survival of their kind.
There is no rightful measure to live,
not in its length,
not in its brevity,
but in its right to be.

Gen. 49:17
END TIMES : TWO
End time dramas continue
to unfold as foretold
tribes of Judah and
Gad united in ether
descending conspiring
to pull Matrix strings
across rooms boom
death Will hidden
documents forged
a trigger activates
illicit action
Centre remains perfection
resurrection
Claim no marriage for
money honeyed
both are paper thin
dust speckled dragonflies
glide into geraniums cry
Truth mourns
hen-chicken ferns
hush murky tears
car ignition fear
burns
Pain has nowhere to
pulse but deep within
stealth sidles sleep
jealousies bleep
forever laced in viral
lanced cellular haste
Antares and Arcturus
watch spiritual warriors
discuss hush actions
gush
Clothed in black head
to toe racing an Audi
making it glow, split
second disappearance
Light sees ass twitch
seeking protection from
words rained in past
reflections
Outgrown forms collapse
to usher in cycles of
initiatory synapse
What is this past anyway ?
Another man’s download
in a desert of dialectic
redemption fast
These end times hold
keys to Uruz strength
so wrenching deep
mouldy ceilings weep
glass teapot aches
growth changes rune
stone answers fake
Passages of Dark part
once again decay
death fertilization
gestation rebirth
this is progression
as mirth
Then Melchedzidek spoke
in cloak to Sham’s Forty
Rules of Love inked across
my marked forehead
mint plant pegged
ancient fern atop torn
garden statue stern
Who will take the
Leap of Faith leaving
to proclaim missions
without a fission
Spiritual warriors know
their inner laws when
writ in cursive upon
open doors
they care not when
orders to leave
fly thick and fast
not cheap
Miners died in vain cold
digging for gold sold to
adorn Draco throats torn
glistening gloat
forms dying disguised
as boss lost tossed
we know no collapse
will not be flossed
our timing spot
on glossed
We live life potent
respected radical
transition
seize a moment
seen the vision !
