Cosmic Curiosity:

If we could cross the sunset skies, We'd never need a place to lie, Finding ourselves above all else, We could fly until the end of time. But what goes up must also come down, Although in spirit form we shall be joined, So fly we will for all eternity, Perhaps we'll find our true energy. On a serpent's tail, we'll ride till then on Draco, And float down the river of Eridanus, Ride on the winged horse of Pegasus, Visit the harp of Lyra and gaze at Vega. Stay in the summer triangle with Aquila, Then off to the winter triangle to gaze at Sirius, With so many wonders in all the constellations, We may even find if all the myths are true. But if they aren't I'll still have my star you.

Stay curious, WW. Excellent astronomical knowledge. A true star gazer. Love the poem, really love the title as well. Much love to you, my friend.

Eridanus still runs underneath Athens. I did watch its waters yesterday. Your poem shows a profound knowledge and deep understanding of things and this make me happy dear friend , White Wolf. Excellent!

I think that's where they got the name for the River constellation Eridanus which begins at Orion. Thank you for your wonderful comment, Demetrios, always a pleasure /|\

The thing that annoys me is they had a constellation called Argo Navis, "The great ship" and now it is in three different constellations, one is Vela the sails, and Puppis the stern and Carina the keel. Plus over time they have removed I think 15. I had a list of them somewhere. Thanks, Duir! /|\
