Best Dine Poems
My imaginary resturant is painted sky blue.
Please enter, let me entertain you.
There is soft music playing.
The kind I hope will get you swaying.
Each table has an ocean view.
Never booked out, always a few.
Smiling faces take your order.
The menu will include fresh lobster.
The house wines are oh so mellow.
Poured by a very handsome fellow.
The chef is Italian and sings as he cooks.
He has written a wonderful cookery book.
Wholesome goodness served with flair.
New dishes to try if you dare.
Delectable delights of delicious tarts.
Easy conversation before you part.
Linger over fresh ground coffee.
On paying the bill, offered a toffee.
How soon can we all dine again?
Let's meet you here next week my friends.

renard slyly skulks
in the leafy undergrowth
success… dinnertime!
Renard - traditional french word for fox

Pity the poor porcupine
on what kind of chair can it dine
It cannot sit on its rear end
for its quills will not bend
And if it stands on its head
it will surely be dead
Toast and jam
Sausage, ham
Cap mushrooms
Red legumes
Tomatoes
Potatoes
Eggs to try
Poach or fry
Breakfast tea
All for me
Tummy full
Last mouthful
Happy tum
Yum, yum, yum!
Day dismal
Pink bismol
A full glass of red wine,
each time I choose to dine.
It always makes me feel fine,
as if I need it to always shine.
In my body, it builds a shrine:
it's my own sacred lifeline.
I got it from a grapevine,
A bond I entwine,
as now mine:
online
in line,
It's divine.
I can never again decline.
It isn't for a drinking spree.
A glass a day brings joy to me.
Not as much alcohol as in spirit,
to get drunk on it, I definitely flee.
so as to get good health for free
and light my heart up with glee.
Like taking a cup of tea.
Longlife, just the key,
Doctors' plea.
As I see.
I agree.
Let it be.
On my knee.
With health, can't be carefree.
Wining and dining,
Dancing and prancing
Hoping I'll score,
My money I'm chancing...
Desperate for love,
A body warm
All my sensualities
Begin to swarm
Peck on the cheek,
My $100 prize
I stood there still,
With glazed eyes
Inside she rushed,
With ne're a word,
I stood still on the stoop,
Like a highschool nerd
Was it my hair?
My breath?
My looks?
Does she see
My hands as hooks?
Home I went,
Head hung low,
Well, at least,
Now I know...
No vanity
Do I see...
Worthy of...
Overcoming me.
splendid colors brew
warm potions that soothe the soul
spiced fall concoction
orange marmalade leaves
taste sweet upon thy palate
fresh autumn dessert
crisp cool breezes blow
shaking loose red and gold bells
color symphonies

Do you like wine
whenever you dine?
Red, white, or rose?
They are good anyday.
Sweet or dry?
Any of them you must try.
Perfect ceviche
Almost alive
Flounder, Corvina
Pacific coast fish flavored,
One you must try.
Slice
Clean
Cut
Into 1 inch marbled cubes,
This is not a recipe
But a cooking muse.
Salt
Garlic and pepper
Then shower one of a kind Lime,
Mix with Aji Limo,
Get ready to dine.
Sprinkle

Thinly sliced

In the next 2 ½ minutes

Dine and dash we are on the go

Charlie and Marley maculate giraffe
Looking immaculate with a soft laugh
Dinner at Bread and Butter
Had their stomach a flutter
Through the window they ate shocking the staff

Of course, Dine and Dash don't say no
Takeaway meals too good to go
A perfect restaurant
even to an aged aunt
Not a profitable portfolio
The day began as normal - breakfast time.
I staggered to the café ready to dine.
And yet, what did I see?
Two giraffes drinking tea!
I knew it! Last night I drank too much wine.
(picture prompt, two giraffes drinking tea
through the window)
I ordered my whole gourmet restaurant staff
to serve my pals Molly and Max Giraffe
I humbly have to admit
the vegan meal was a hit
The tall order sparked a jaffy good laugh
Emboldened metal torso dusts her in pink Himalayan flecks
Her mahogany neck persuaded to turn in his grip
Rendering fragrant dark bite from her deep spice chest
The two infused together perfect a harmonious marriage
Her mahogany neck persuaded to turn in his grip
Seasoning lamb's tendered flesh, in a glistening delight
The two infused together perfect a harmonious marriage
Chef, shaker, and grinder bow in sumptuous applause
Seasoning lamb's tendered flesh, in a glistening delight
Refined palate and palisades of sharpened cutlery adorn
Chef, shaker, and grinder bow in sumptuous applause
The curtains drawn, lights hushed in reverie and sighs
