Best Demonstrative Poems

Illustrious? Too sophisticated.
Advanced? Sounds too modern.
Awkward? Not in the mood yet.
Animalistic? A nice ring, bereft of a special ring.
Will consider it for later though. Jotting it down now.

I could cut up some onions. I got up early to cook a roast right?
I get up from the chair, and my muse bops me on the head,
A light smack. I know, I tell her. I will be back in two.
It is actually ten minutes later. I had to cut up the onions and the roast.

Antiquated? Too prissy.
Profound? Dharm it! You already use profound in every other poem.
Pollutive? Is that even a WORD?
I will set the crockpot on high.
Trixie gets out her machete and leers at me, really mad now.

If you use that, I will not help you at all, I warn her,
So she files it back in her knapsack, and starts stomping up and down the paper.
She is storming angry when I return, I know because the paper is torn into
Teeny, tiny bits, I pull it back together, trying to read it again, as I recopy it.

Plain? Too plain.
Demonstrative? Circle that one. I like that one.
Delectable, delightful, deliriously diabolically, do-able.
The D words are here, and they are dancing and prancing.
Discerning. Where did that come from? Trixie helps me scratch it out.

Hey! Were you going to put the meat into the crockpot?
INSTANT brain stop.
We come to a screeching halt.
Dhramn!
I take Trixie to the kitchen where she hammers on Joe’s head with her axe.
Unfortunately, he does not feel it.
No one else here can put roast into a crockpot?

Raging Red nailed by reason to controlled anger
Shaded disappointment lies deceit corroding grey
White like the bathroom cleaner You swallowed

The smell of empty boundaries transgressed
Rusty razorblades oozing blood and manipulation
Distasteful taste of rotting matter mottled flesh

Colouring outside a medley of confused emotions
A striking demonstrative match incinerating
Abusing trust respect compassion care and shooting
Salvos like a paint ball onto pained grave canvas

Surely a polychromatic cry for helping with the
‘What’ the ‘Self’ the self-destructive saturation

But mind you this is a chance now one opportunity
To link from dot to dot your bleeding droplets
Yours to own disown your brush to break or stroke

Green envy demonstrative

Butter wouldn't melt whence churned

Into something other than itself

With chicken arms and pigeon chest

Which inside to hide

The ashes of a loved one

It has become painfully obvious that the only way to be heard
is to pay through the nose to be a lifetime nerd,
the way to be read in on this sight

If and When

~She Loved Him At First Sight~

If she falls in love,
she will open her window and stare at the clouds movements,
sending with them her spirit and soul to fly away, meet
with the highly demonstrative entourage of life,
to smile again.

If she falls in love,
she will transform her ego in a delightful mood of romance,
hastily search for another positive thought, to strengthen
her emotions to become undisturbed, generous, rightful,
and faithful,
to love again.

When she falls in love,
her thoughts will want her strength to protect her
independence, by joining freedom of her mind, to tutor her
Heart to balance her brain and body, calm down,
and love again.

If she falls in love,
she will embrace her happiness to be free, as a blessing was passing
through her deep feelings, to join her strong signal of commitments,
to love him forever,
and smile again.

If she falls in love,
she will sense the sense of floating as in the ocean,
feel the unpredictable delightful nature of herself,
become super sensitive and challenging, when it comes to
loving each of her thoughts, beg them, to react positively,
to smile again.

When she falls in love,
one of her thoughts became the most delightful companion
while walking with her through a path, that blossomed with
a light drizzling rain passing by, allowing them to smile again,
until she meets him tomorrow.

She fell in love and both, smiled again.

Premium Member The Never Will

The Never Will

The “never will” is sometimes . . .
left alone;
and the never said . . . never happened;
and so who shall ever question?

The “never will” can be:
the never did,
the never can,
the never could,
the never have,
the never had,
the never would,
the never would have had,
the never shall,
the never shall have,
and the never shall have had . . .
(with all of its grammatical bliss).

The “never will” emotes
a determination—
and a pulse and a force of
masterful and demonstrative negation;
sometimes never to be really and fully understood.

Our lifetime is spent with the “never will”
as part of our inner psyche
and as . . .
a daily aspect of one’s Cosmic DNA.

It lurks as our constant companion,
. . . im Gegenteil . . .
to the “always will” which means it always will.

It will follow us too on our eventual Soul Path
to that Great Beyond . . .

But only God can make that decision.

Orotund In the New Year

Bombastic… So grandiloquent
We are stated to be pompous asses.
Therefore, our outcry is heard.
2017 is over.
We are ready to bring in the New Year when the clock hits eleven.
One more hour to go.
Yet, time is moving too slow.
So, we party!
We are dancing and singing our favorite songs.
Illumining where we are demonstrative and high-flown.

Magniloquent… So bombastic
We are as plain as eyesight.
Our excitement is not pretentious.
We ready to blow minds.
2018 is the year to overcome the barriers that preexist.
It is time to move on and the past is history.
This because we are futuristic.
Orotund in the New Year with laughter and good will.

Poetry

An instrument of beauty,
poetry is art at its best
with its verses of passion
penned with love
in assorted and variegated
metrical composition
with sublime and
aesthetically satisfying flow.

It is a creative exposition
that unfolds and enlightens
with enchanting constructs
the demonstrative and
effusive characterization
of language by utilizing,
promoting and bestowing
the nature and power of words.

Proclaiming ideas and ideals
of principled excellence
with creations anew
and history of old,
poetry exhibits an appetite
for knowledge and wisdom
and a profound propensity
for purposeful revelation
with an insatiable desire
for intimation and meaning
displayed with heartfelt emotion.

With its aspiration to show case
in magnificent scribal splendor,
poetry entices and compels
the artist and consumer
to explore and transcend
imagination and intrigue,
and solicit introspection
with unfathomable penetrating thought
that is calmed by grace and elegance.

Philosophical and spiritual,
entertaining and healing,
poetry commands laughter and tears
or sorrow and joy,
Its clamorous and powerful
phonologically expressive morphemes
can awaken and stir passion and romance
or summon logic and reason.

Poetry,
resplendent in wisdom,
captures love,
inspires hope,
provoke curiosity,
resonates drama,
evokes mystery,
uplifts spirits
and expresses grief.
So magnificent,
so powerful,
so wondrous
is the nature and
the majesty of poetry.

Smeared Mirror

SMEARED MIRROR

Looking dead at me
in this smeared mirror...

a lost man
tormented
face red
brittle with tears

making excuses
abusing
as I glare
into the eyes of a monster with no conscience
and a demonstrative stare

a guilty reflection appears
in this prison cell of fear
longing for an escape
to wipe the mirror clear

who have I become?
what have I even done right?

crossroads appear sudden
as fog fills the mirror tonight

darkness owns the room
and prefers I suffer slow
so I proceed with speed
because it’s the only way I know

horror stories
flood life’s hard bound chapters
while this smeared mirror reflects tears
dripping from a face
which was once filled with laughter.

No More Neon Nights

NO MORE NEON NIGHTS

There was a neon sky as a prologue to the rain
While colors flickered brightly at twilight
I missed the rain but eventually felt the pain
While the septic sky was an epilogue to a loathsome night

The sky, swear do i, became electrified
As blazed the sun which was dying
While I sat there knowing her love as well had died
And then the moon stole the neon that dusk was denying

Two hands that clutched tightly would be no more
No more of such demonstrative love
There sat I as she oiled out my door
With no neon sky hovering high above

I saw electric purple, green, and red
As my room was wrapped in silence that eve
Then suddenly this is what the lady said
She uttered “I’ve found another lover so I shall take my leave”

Her Taunting Power

The splendor of her soul augments my interminable desires
Every osculation is a demonstrative of our unfurling fires
To say a tall tale might be my tormentor forever
To her my wobbling hands never says ever

Every time I fall into the ocean of her immature cerise,
My fervent heart melts to a mare berry
My life turns to a wild of mystery
I am falling into her tormented ferry

I cherish her unrivalled knowledge
Loving her unconditionally is my solace
Al rather my slice of her sledge
Forever I vow to dwell in her glorious palace!

With every touch I receive
My darkest scenes scream in unstinting glare
I outlook on the roof to give in but all I can see is my Eve
Honestly I fall short of what to say
Holding my fires is my only move
My soul dawns waiting to drink in her ocean
Or maybe I will wait till the end of time!!

Predetermination of Lovers

Predetermination of Lovers

Proactive on the lips of such sensual passions
Scavenges through follicles design
To written archangels of expression

Such are the hungry beats and pulses that evolve
In contemplation
Of Amours encounter with her skin

Countenance and coveted demonstrative
Spills a wet lust fervent
Fever pitched by the wisp succulence

Clamorous and pounds its ranting quintessence of want
Desirous burns, inflamed in whispers
And craves never ending

To lay upon the flower pillowed head
And crush the blooms of reticence
Till breathing cries in a desperate pant

Such are the embers longings for her
That there ignition turns to a mockery of fire
And a mans soul can capture the essence of the sun

Predetermination of the telling caress
Holds the nudity of speechless inquiries of sighs
Rampant

Rampant palmistry of luxuria, grabs !
A mouth-to-mouth pleading of sustenance
On surging floods in beckoned waves, has !

As this keel of heat rides in sweat
Savoured on the incremental words of flesh
Swims the boundless oceans of love

Exhausted to the tasted need
Divulged and disintegrated to unity
Laboured to the inch, of the light, in her opening eyes

Sees distant gasp, focused releases
Breaks upon the spinal tidal arches
A salutation vulnerable to the ravages of aphrodisia

She devastates the tenderness in me
To build a more touched hyper-intensity
On the quivering ends of our fingertips

Leaves the escaping whimpering to linger on sound
Sleeping on the quiet unknown bed
Of lovers

I Keep a Written History

You say it seems that I'm hiding something-
Maybe its my answers;
Or that when you asked, I said nothing.

If in need of explanation,
here’s my summation;
my trust has reached stagnation-
I learned don’t trust what isn’t well known,
And even then reside in caution-
Don’t let your full cover be shown.

Afraid; I am not-
and secrets, I have little;
So hold to the ones I've got-
avoid becoming transmittal.

We all love good mystery;
It's simply human nature.
I keep a written history,
But it will not read off my behavior.

I'm manipulative-
as well as contemplative.
I'm witty and I'm charming-
perhaps over demonstrative

I'm tricky-
and I'm picky.
Caught up,
a bit sporadic-
and when I speak,
I am emphatic.

But in this too, I am loyal-
Kindhearted;
Was left broken-
When we parted;
But I still cant wait to get started.

I'm trustworthy,
but if need be-
also bloodthirsty.
I know respects to be earned-
If nothing else,
It's this that I have learned.
