Ever Deeper Grows Our Kiss

On the rug down by the fire
I place butterfly kisses on your neck
Devoted eyes devour you
With each and every peck,

As I hover above you
Flames flickering in the grate
Our lips the merest touch away
From the kiss we eagerly await.

We feel the passion building
As ever deeper grows our kiss
We feel the urge to tear at clothing
but expert fingers will resist,

Shirt and blouse buttons popping
Fuel our passionate intensity
Now there can be no stopping
The spark that flies from you to me.

Like a favoured steed I'm ridden
With a slow but sexy skill
I'm content to do your bidding
As you ride me harder still .

Breathless whispers encourage
My stamina is unsurpassed
Until that sweet and tender moment
At last , At last , At last.

I think I know the reason
For passion such as this
The secret lies in knowing
The power of the kiss.

Fathoms Deeper

"Fathoms Deeper"

What are these strange creatures?
They swim in skins
not their own

calling us
into them
they amuse us

we are fathoms deeper

they
are a long way
from Home

A Deeper Divide

Dreams herein, our progeny, still birth sometimes inside,
blind and rigor twisted, formless foetuses upon
the terrace steps where innocence bled and occasionally died
screeching for salvation when every shred of hope was gone.
Yet also soared in glorious flight, monstrous span
of righteous flapping wings in the stadium sky,
drummed thunderclaps, exultant fear insurgently began
inflaming souls and lifting living spirits heaven high.
Externalised, the primal chants and streaming scarves,
the goading, cheering, praising adrenaline infusion,
the fluid rush of gameplay, of two dovetailed halves
painted on an emerald canvas with fleet of foot profusion.
In a cloud of air horn banshees and muddied leather vapour
where studded feet slap pigskin like a hated face
spins a salt and vinegar smudged result newspaper
telling tales of holy triumph or damnation and disgrace.
Abused patriotism, the easy asylum of the scoundrel cur
whose omnipresent wield of slick wet Stanley blade slashes
carves desired resurgence of the way that things once were,
for Nazi flags, stiff arm salutes and pencil black moustaches.
Yet overriding all, the team and the game, the beautiful game
and the chasm rift between each side as deep and wide as forever,
the team is all, all is the team and will always be the same
and whatever divides team from team let no man draw together.

Deeper than seas

Depths of man's heart, deeper than the seas,
Constant turbulence, in the red that flows,
But invisible love, which no one can see,
Reflecting on cheeks, as golden after glows,
Much deeper than seas in the red that flows !

Dive deep within, to lose self to passion,
Thoughtless mind, dare not say a word,
Rolling down the cheeks, tears in succession,
Loudest screams of heart, can't ever be heard,
Tears roll in succession, dare not say a word !

Trapped in a whirlpool, yet not seek an escape,
Living lifeless in no love, is as good as die,
Letting go all emotions, is not real piece of cake,
Sweet sorrows of parting, till tears may dry,
Yet not seek an escape, till tears may dry !

A game breaker it’s not,
the outer wrapping.
Inner beauty is stunning,
in someones eyes.
It’s a bonus when the two,
are overlapping,
That’s when we realize,
God’s given us the prize.

True beauty emanates from the heart.

Premium Member Embrace In A Deeper Level

Bonded by the divine, thriving blind
And deaf for hope, peace, a serene need
Of its restorative embrace.
It inspires and nurtures a seed
Of deeper wisdom within my mind.

Premium Member My love for you is deeper than the sea

My love for you is deeper than the sea
That stretches far beyond the horizon
And sparkles with a thousand stars at night
You are the sun that brightens up my day
The moon that guides me through the darkest hour
The breeze that cools me in the summer heat

You are the music that fills up my ears
The melody that lingers in my mind
The harmony that soothes my troubled soul
You are the fragrance that perfumes the air
The flower that blooms in every season
The honey that sweetens up my life

You are the reason that I wake each day
The purpose that inspires all I do
The joy that fills my heart with gratitude
You are my everything, my all, my love
The one I cherish more than words can say
The one I want to spend my days with you

Premium Member Deeper Than Any Blade

A poem is like a candle
that brings human feelings to light:
moving like a stubbled shadow
across the face of tomorrow.

And its rhythm should be inviting:
soliciting raw emotions
from within the depths of your soul;
where both Angels and Demons dwell.

Its language should be conversant:
conveying the poet's message
in a relatable fashion;
emotional and personal.

And it should be free of the lies
that ignorance perpetuates:
exposing feelings, wizened words
oft cut deeper than any blade.

Fish Deeper, Says He

Rainy days chill makes me lazy here in my cabin
Only croaks of frogs, I hear, singing with no rhythm,
Snails crawl on the ground; earthworms are visible in my garden
Used them as baits, to the river I went for some fishing.

Yet water running from slopes makes the river cold
No fish on surface, they swim deep and avoid,
I stayed hours while singing 'Raindrops Keeps Fallin' in my Head'
But nay, no fish eats my bait; can I just shoot them, instead?

Sam said true, "Fish deep, fear not to plunge deep
Fulfillment is gained; why not face your fear,
Swim and play, water is enticing, dear
Water holds fun and lots from it to keep!"

I like to catch fish, though I cannot swim deep
Neither kill a fish, take off its intestines and gills,
Scaling it, cook and eat it in zest
I'd prefer catching fish and throw it back, I guess!

Hmn...I think I prefer it as a sport than feed
Yet I have naughty thoughts as I do the deed,
If my man is here, he may join me as we catch some fish
Ha ha! Can we make love before we eat the main dish? (Wink)

Premium Member Falling Deeper

When clouds draw near and all my fears become creepily consuming –
As paralysis and pain set in the cold blood running through me.
And every aspiration of accomplishments I dream
Are passing through my fingertips like dust into the breeze.

When all the toil, sweat and tears are all I have to show
Others what I’ve done down here it may come as quite a blow.
Like hurricanes and heavy rains following me around
As shadows in the dark of night don’t ever let me down.

When uncertainty is the surest thing and reality fast imploding –
And everything I knew before my eyes begins eroding.
The sun, moon, stars, streets, fast cars, family, friends and trees
Everything I took for granted from true love to deep blue seas.

                              Falling
                                         deeper

Into fear letting go of all that’s clear
Something starts to shift inside I know not what, how or why.
All I know is Something good
Buoys me up like water does wood.

Floating ‘round still lost in foam but breathing all too well -
Waiting for a life rung to save me from my half-living hell.
Laughing loudly, playing wildly in the broken spell of pain
Thankful for another chance to watch the ocean turn to rain.

Premium Member The Deeper Reality

Beneath the busy theater,
a little trap door,
modest and illusive,
opens to a space
infinite and peaceful—
a broader dimension,
resonant and real—
the silent birthing chamber
of all possibilities,
including, by surprise,
the gears animating
the action on the set.
One may find the door
and bask in this continuum
by stepping out of character
and shrugging off one’s script,
releasing and recasting
preconceived props.

Deeper Meaning

river of sorrow,
pain with no gain,
fear z a friend,
all in vain.

river of blood,
corpse to corpse,
humiliation is a friend,
hanged by ropes.

river of misfortune,
gunz to gunz,
death is a friend,
buried in no manz land.

river of life,
heaven and earth,
no friend, alone,
down to the bone!

Dealing a Deeper Darker Crimson

"Dealing a Deeper Darker Crimson"

Dealing a deeper darker crimson velvet kiss
Lips bleed criminal and cut deep
on caged tongues whispering a love missed

Vanilla dreams
Black pods of slippery evanescence peeled back
to reveal salt stinging words devoid of traps

which you welcome open and arched
between the tumultuous sanguine
flippant, shuffling slow decks

Dealing a deeper darker Crimson
Velvet Kiss

Mocking silent deranged voyeurs
their prosecution solitary and vexed
they sit red-eyed, suddenly ancient, with pursed lips

In the Sea of Her, life is kept;
you feel through her rolling waves,
On your shore, she is met

your ego cast aside
your worth naked

Dealing a deeper darker Crimson Velvet Kiss
Lips bleed criminal and cut deep
on caged tongues whispering a love missed

"From where dreams are woven
Bending sound, dredging the ocean, lost in my circle
Here am I, flashing no colour

Tall in this room overlooking the ocean
Here are we, one magical movement from Kether to Malkuth
There are you, you drive like a demon from station to station"

Premium Member Carve Us Deeper In the Stone

A graveyard stands upon the hill;
its tombstones smoothed beneath the tide
of nature's forces beating hard;
I pass and hear the buried cry.
"Reverse the trend, relentless grown,
that would erase our names for aye;
for who grants thought to silent stones
and corpses claimed in nameless graves?
We yet would speak, if you inquire,
if you draw near with ear and heart .
We speak of dreams left unfulfilled;
we sing our song which but in part
was heard before our souls were claimed.
Oh, who will hear what we would tell
with our last link with life consumed,
when dust with dust is mingled well?
We have a vision unattained
by you who still are flesh and bone;
if you our secrets wish to shard,
dare carve us deeper in the stone."

©Faye Lanham Gibson, 1987

This poem was inspired by a very old cemetery behind my home.
The tombstones were worn so badly that the names could hardly
be discerned.

Deeper

Stronger than the scent of you
Past the glint, the colour of eyes even

Warmer than your sweetest smile
Inviting, reeling me in

Deeper than your skin
Your muscles, your heart pounding

Your fingertips, the lightest touch
Wanting and needing; far deeper than such

Love’s fluidity flowing deep
Deeper than moist desirous heat

Softer than my whispered name
Deeper than the mating game

Beyond fertility, deeper than that …
Deeper than even Eden’s lap
