Premium Member When The Party Is Over -POTD

When the party’s over, the rising sun shines, with all eyes squinting
Make-up smeared on face’s, some have slimy snail skin
A woman waiting for a gent to light her cigarette, just hinting
Last thing she remembered the drink in her cup sink’n in
Alas a smoke from the one glaring all night, even his lighter is glinting

That night she lost her balance, her head, and her Gucci slipper
Though in costume, she didn’t feel like Cinderella anymore
Drunk-on champaign they went out to the marina for a dipper
Everyone dancing all night, felt great, with music galore
At the stroke of midnight, on a yacht, a first mate and his skipper

Swirling in gay abandon in her party dress, putting on a show
The first one to leave is deemed a killjoy in this circle fest
They pulled an all-nighter, ‘neith the shroud of the moon’s luscious glow
The first one to leave the event, was weary, in the state of unrest
The sun is setting, the party is ending, a new day calls, a caravan in tow

morning fog
a cruise ship appears
in the horizon

Floating Cruise Ship

The cruise ship charged
Whistleless at my sail boat
In a narrow channel
Between Islands
Of The Salish Sea.

I was powerless with sails up
Tacking against a current
Knotted against me.
The water boiled.
I recoiled
In dread

I could see them
Cosmetic lazy travellers
Lounging unconcerned
Tending to their looks
As the mass
Of their moving Carnival
Careened
At my destruction.

Two glaucous winged seagulls
Preening feathers were
Unconcerned
As the submerging emerging hulking
Tree trunk and roots
Surged at me

The Cruise Ship That Just Didn'T Quite Make It...

She was an Italian liner,
Whose path crossed
Unfavorably with a
Norwegian ship
Out at sea....

She went down that day
All aboard were sad
I just hope that Joe's wife
Was not Andrea by name,
Cause it was the Andrea Doria
Whose fate played to her fame.

Cruise Ship

Me and my wife are on a cruise ship,
Enjoying the Caribbean sun.
We are relaxing on our deck chairs,
With a cold bacardi rum.

We are getting a lovely tan,
Cruising in the sun.
The reggae music from the band,
Everybody having fun.

There is a nice sea breeze in the air,
As we are cruising by.
The sea reflecting beautifully,
The Caribbean sky.

The atmosphere on the ship
Is like a banquet in the sun,
With all the gorgeous food to eat
yum, yum, yum, yum, yum.

You cannot remove the memories
Of that holiday in the sun,
For the time we had on the ship
Was so wonderful and fun.

Premium Member Away In a Cruise Ship

Away in a cruise ship
With me are two friends
Our rare fellowship
We wish there‘s no end

We reminisce the past
When we're still colleagues
Time keeps flying too fast
But we keep our jigs

Away in a cruise ship
Hugs, eat, dance and sing
Enjoying best friendship
Lengthy and lasting

A great mom and god-moms
Apart at foreign lands
In just two hours of jams
Share the best we can

Away in a cruise ship
We rush our short bond
Take photos on best trip
Superb scenes around

City lights everywhere
From second deck’s views
Sailing on the river
We wish we’ll be crews

Cruise Ship To No Where

its very big
carry big wigs
take a dip
on the pool ship
it just a get away
where the rich play
park the ocean there
ITS A CRUSIE SHIP
TOO NOWHERE

Cruise Ship

Affluence rich
Pastime galore
Few can afford.

Cruising starts the journey
Heaven-float, dream ship
Worthy of a gurney
Surge through blue waves trip

Sunlight kisses the deck
stoked  sightseer  meet
In such a tense wreck
Start a long sail treat

The ship leaves the land back
Each person sees chances
Captain wise and skilled track
Moves the ship well dances

Devoted crews on board
Stake one's most comfort
Kitchen Chefs' are the lord
Night's joy of all sorts

Poolside to ballroom dance.
Nothing's aye boring.
Fun, thrills, limitless chance.
Days melt exploring.

Cruise Ship

I see a building
Running in the midst of sea
Fascinating tech.

THE CRUISE SHIP

The cruise ship had to detour at bay
At the dock they were turned away
Creeping through the waters fill with ice
They took a chance like the roll of a dice
Water frozen on both sides fifty foot high
It was almost as high as the sky
Make no sudden moves, not a whisper of breath
Any quick moves they would be crush to death
