Navigating vast oceans of life, negotiating its lows and highs,
Some blissful of pure joy, some burdened in griefs and sighs,
Riding aspirations eternal, rowing vigor of happiness I ride,
Undulating on tides of love, with your smile gracing my side.

On the crest of a wave, surging with gale, O, fondly we sail,
Reveling life’s sweetest moments, dreams amorous unveil,
Sketching themes periwinkle, tinting blush of rosy twilight,
Whispering secrets passionate, pleading to romantic night.

As stars above twinkle, in harmony with melodies of skies,
Hearts sensuous bloom desires, inflaming enamored eyes,
Spurring moods of romance, Venus and the Moon revive,
Flirting with colorful nebulae, where passions stellar thrive.

Anticipation builds, propelling us with exuberance of seas,
As lands in yonder delight, where zephyrs of hope breeze,
Foretelling of an ebullient morning, inscribing motifs of glee,
Glistening skyline golden, where promises auspicious spree.

Approaching our destination, we foresee realms of morrow,
Devoid of hurricanes of yore, devoid of miseries of sorrow,
Having parted stormy coastline battered in travails of throes,
Exiting cheerless shadows, vying winsome, sunlit meadows.

Premium Member Crest Fallen

the box of Crayola’s has fallen to the floor
like pick-up sticks they lay, crisscrossed
and I without a partner or a pair of jacks

rolled paper named & swirled in ink of black
periwinkle and puce displayed

side by side the candied rainbow huddles
like children whispering at play
lilac and orchid cuddle
see the rusty red and the crimson lay

grin and giggles surround the paper pages
as the parents are kept at bay
lemon yellow is the sun
and saffron the flower in the bay

pink the fingers which grasp and pile
the colors so arrayed, by the fallen box
of crayons in the golden light of day

Trauma stained
my innocence,
before I knew
that the sunless
sky lost its glory
to doomed darkness,
an empathetic gaze
which roamed beneath my
saffron skin,
an ungodly vulture
disguised as a gracious
guide, whilst waking up
to wrinkled sheets of satin,
which burnt and betrayed
my virtue as an offspring-
as virginal petals
stained in blood,
drenched me in
cruel flashbacks.

I swam against
ghastly ghosts,
searching for
cosmic lilies,
floating on the crest
of a wave,
through unholy rivers,
baptizing darkest sins
of my exploited mind.

l've tasted sparkling
saline streaming
down tall murky falls,
Every ripple graphically
reminding me of
my childhood tears,
secrets which scarred
my strained soul
into suppression,
allowing dark voices in
my head to control
every aspect of
my conscience,
questioning the stars
that dimmed
their silver on me.
Was my fatigued
smile a written consent
to the bloodthirsty breezes,
brutally invading
every untouched cell?
Did I blindly sing
along to their lullaby?
Or have I been cursed
before I saw
the first light of life?
Perhaps these
questions will
forever haunt me,
there's no right
answer when
the ugly truth
has stolen every
reason to place my
trust in the
unkind mind
of the humankind,
for the devil resides
in their shameless
shadows, singing hellish clarity.

......woke up, you holding my wrist
..........asleep, you were

The Love Crest Rises

When your heart pours forth in vulnerable vacillation
When the feeling in your voice brings fervor to fluctuation…
I am all ears to every word, like a prisoner inspired before becoming a saint,
Like the vision glossed in the artist’s eye just before he lays his brush to paint
I am your morning darkness lingering upon the open eye,
Sipping your emotions in the potent oceans of your sigh
Suddenly mess has meaning as your heart rewards your mind
With the vast impasses of your praise, bliss I ever find

How can I sleep this night when I adore you so?
Not enough this love have I let you know
That in so loving, there is worthiness of living
And in our glorious receiving, our hands together sculpt body of believing

Premium Member On the Crest of a Wave

On an early morning walk along the shore
I pondered thoughts about the ocean floor
What treasures are buried beneath its sands
Amid corals, anemones, orange sea fans
I wanted a key to unlock the seabed's door

On the crest of a wave, what had been carried
bobbled and lobbed, back and forth parried
from shore and blown across windswept seas
Miles traveled by storms or a tropical breeze
on ocean currents, their journey never tarried

In a shallow tidal pool, a conch was stranded
A gift from Poseidon's hand, I'd been handed
I held the shell to my ear and then listened
awed by the sound while the sun glistened
Waves crested until on the beach they landed

With perfect rhythmic cadence they swelled
on a high tide until its last ripples were felled
Another always followed, close upon its wake
constantly flowing as if it had a thirst to slake
quenched by rushing ashore as if compelled

Buoyantly, bottles drift on the crest of a wave
Directed by the whims of tides, as if a slave
No ebbing waters have ever ferried one to me
I ponder how many notes drowned in the sea,
bottles speared by Neptune. Forsooth, a knave!

You Are - Much More

I
A day, a blessing, misshapen
Careless words, good deeds overtaken
You rise, we rise: building on the trough
Cresting arrested; environment looks tough
We cannot fall further, sink lower
We remain connected, no matter the matter
Mother and child, ocean & waves, eternally
Somewhere deeper, Universe is you and me

II
You were cresting, dancing with siblings
Environments include YOU, both creating
A win-win world, Oceans of happy waves
Even when we crash, the trough saves
It is our connection to the Ocean Bed
No matter the weather ... Curses, words said
You are more, more than that spent wave
You have tasted eternity; you are beyond brave

III
We are more than our profession
We are more than any reputation
We are more than strong, or wise
We are more than traps that surprise
U & I are the universe experiencing Itself
New American loses identity of immigrant
The play of creation depends on disguise
Maybe that God as Spirit borrows our eyes

IV (Envoi)
You are much more than you know
Look for the empowerment in surprise
Go with the flow as a wave, ebb and flow
Maybe God as Spirit must borrow our eyes

I'm wave-surfing on the crest of the waves of love,
Philautia, philia, agape, storge, pragma,
Above all, the divine love that comes from above,
Which blazes me, with a warmth, warmer than magma...!

On one side I feel cool calmness caress within,
On the other side, I come across with power,
Am I changed? Am I, like a fish, breathing with fin?
A vigor and mighty force, on me, does shower...!

A magnetic vigor pulls me from all around,
It's, indeed, a heavenly celestial feeling,
Have I, in a magical middle world, got drowned?
In me is going on restorative healing...!

I am out from the waves; the energy, yet, rules,
Earthly and heavenly dynamism ever pools...!!!

Premium Member Full Moon Crest

As I watch a creamed-full moon come to crest,
a darkened backdrop takes thoughts away;
into the night of heaven, where loved ones rest.

I stop for a moment to ease my aching breast,
releasing inward feelings I want to convey;
as I watch a creamed-full moon come to crest.

To have known and loved, I have been blessed,
even to have known them for just one day.
Into the night of heaven, where loved ones rest.

I know humanly emotions are put to test,
when great trials of tribulations heavily weigh;
as I watch a creamed-full moon come to crest.

Someday all worldly possessions I will bequest,
somewhere my mortal bones will forever lay.
Into the night of heaven, where loved ones rest.

Even though my life is lively, still full of zest,
I will always long for the ones, who could not stay;
as I watch a creamed-full moon come to crest.
Into the night of heaven, where loved ones rest.

A Viking Crest Ablaze

Flying alone
   over fury enthroned

 Its colors reign free
  and clear

The enemy stained
  all freedom regained

Covered in blood
  spent and dear

Stitched yellow and blue
  its messages true

That Svealand does
  not run

To hang steadfast
  and slay the past

And carry our glory
  sum

A crest ablaze
  through fire and haze

Horses hooves high in
  the air

Now honor bound
  on sacred ground

Heralding death
  —our cross to bear

Crest of Love

When you think of the ocean,
Does it remind you of me?
How those waves of emotion,
Surged with human ecstasy.

Our love was a tidal wave,
Crashing the whole night through.
When I think of the ocean,
It reminds me of you.

Love’s Wave and Breaking Crest

And though the lover’s now shared empty cells
o’erflowing with the enmity of loss
endured the curse of self inflicted hells
beneath the towered specter of the cross
the remnants of a love – now prayerful dross
crumbling – dry flowers clutched to chest
unwilling to admit denials cost
beneath fate’s wave and breaking crest.

A darkness of the heart devoid of light
numbing to the core all pulsing hope
adrift in string-less voyage – hateful flight
as fearful fingers ever slowly grope
the promise of the knotted, swinging rope
to which the aching heart has acquiesced
in effort to relieve love’s need to cope
beneath fate’s wave and breaking crest.

As through love’s hand slid harsh Manilla grip
tears dried upon a sallow, sunken cheek
awakening cold heart from endless trip
silencing the quest for dying’s shriek
recoiling from a final act so bleak
as to despoil a love that felt so blessed
strip it of love’s whimsical mystique
beneath fate’s wave and breaking crest.

Thus does the heart renew its rhythmic pace
return full beating flow to aching chest
release itself from memory’s sad embrace
beneath love’s wave and breaking crest.

Crest of Melodious Words

Such melodious words of impress
  Alluding to a lady magistrate
Like an emblem of blind justice
       Such melodious words of impress

Ascribing to social illness
  Weakening on someone’s taste
    Such melodious words of impress
      Alluding to a lady magistrate

Crest

Among such smog-soaked folk
As curdle-coil in cloud-spun smoke

Along the grain-cut naves
Which, God-heavy, lie stiff as staves

On sad-strung ouds, yet creep
In concrete-crumbled static sleep

Over cambered cities.
Whose peaks and troughs ebb with pities;

A ring-road tidal flow
With human crest now sunk below...
