A Faceless Enemy (What's There To Celebrate)

He appear to be a ladd of maybe 9 yrs. old. It's Friday, as our troop's prepared to move
out unto enemy territory, and then KABOOM!!...he becomes a suicide bomber. WOW! face-
less at such a young age. Now as I gather my comrade's body parts (as well as my thou-
ght's) to myself I say, "these people's belong in a cage". Pain in Irag, will it ever end, here
children's are taught too kill again & again. Our Boy'zz in misery, misery all around us, the
stinch of death is everywhere. Their fearless leader leads no more. Soon he's capture, "one
would think, finally!! and now answer's of life can be restore, but sadly there's only more
bloodshed here in Irag. And a salacious cloud still hoovers above our heads as the dead
bodie's continue's to rise, another soldier get sent home and familie's shall not be able to
stop the flow of tear's pouring from their eye's. (faceless at such a young age)
Our Boy's and Gal's in misery - here in a country, were there is no love, "A faceless enemy",
we continue to fight. Our Congressmen and Senator's vote to keep this sinceles war going,
"for our freedom", lying to themselve's and to the American people's. "For our Freedom",
"I don't understand-how can freedom be justified with a bullet and a gun". How can Freedom
be (?) when every Saturday you'll be burying your daughter or your son. Someday soon
we do get to go home, from here to a faceless nation. As the dead bodie's continue to rise,
and before the break of dawn starts another day. Your lil 9 year old goes outside to play.
In this land of confusion lil boy's also goes outside, freedom for him is to suicidily kill the
enemy-each and every morning in the name of Allah his mother tells him. So 10 U.S. sold-
ier's live's are gone, more are on the way. Remember their President is dead and gone
while our wants a "Celebration".

P.S.... This particular poem came to me in a dream, as in a dream I was there (in Irag)
holding this soldier who had been shot, and he relate's this particular
poem for me to write:

Premium Member Ode To Occupy Wall Street

The middle class here can't be saved
When 0.001% act so depraved
Their wealth without end
These royals* still pretend
Did not come from us—their
enslaved**

*The Royals: CEOs, Banksters, Revolving Door Regulators, The FED, Congressmen for sale, Lobbyists, Board Members of Big Corporations, Major Shareholders who vote for these Board
Members, Corrupt Managers, Dishonest Used Car Salesmen, Presidential Candidates with more than two Residences, Elected Presidents (and their lackeys who pretend to regulate but look the other way)

**The Enslaved: Workers, Career Regulators who are trying to protect the public, Honest Hard Working Citizens, Students--some with oppressive loans, Immigrants, Soldiers, Police, Firemen and Firewomen, Parents, Children, Orphans, Disabled, The Sick, Small Business Owners (who don’t hire lobbyists), Volunteers, Health Care Workers, Welfare Recipients, Inventors, Investors, Entrepreneurs, Actors, Artists, Journalists who do in-depth investigation (not like those with FOX News, ABC Radio or many other of the outlets where they mouth the status quo), Non Profit Corporations, Charities, Teachers, Transportation Workers, Waiters and Waitresses, Dishwashers, Servants, Farmers, Managers, Ship Hands, Cooks, Unemployed

Author' s Note: Have been at Occupy Wall Street 8 days in the past two months--which is why I haven't been here--plus I have to work. Miss you all, but it's for a good cause. I am very briefly seen on Conan's feature: Triumph the Insult Comic Dog at Occupy Wall Street if you are looking for some humor with a little umph.

Attack of the Giant Insects

I miss the old time monster movies where the insects ruled the day,
Where disaster resulted from a mishap with a disintegrator ray.

Unleashing the wrath of nature by causing the insects to expand,
Proving to us once again that the scientists are out of hand.

The military would be activated before they’d answered all the hows,
And the energy beam that they created made roaches the size of cows.

Then a giant deadly mantis terrorized Washington D.C. one day,
And finally taught the congressmen just how it is you prey.

Enormous hairy spiders are in the subway and on the track,
Webbing people in giant cocoons and saving them for a snack.

There was always a beautiful woman with a bod and brains to boot,
And you knew that the hero would save her with his manly chest hirsute.

Because even though he said something to her just to raise her ire,
You could tell that between the two of them there burned a raging fire.

As she works in her lab late at night the bugs come looking for their meals,
She tries to get away but she can’t run too fast while wearing her high heels.

What was there left for her to do but to freeze and start her screaming,
The hero saves her in the nick of time with a smile that was redeeming.

She’d develop a serum to reverse the horror that stares them in the face,
But he was the only one who could deliver it and save the human race.

The combination of her brains and his last ditch daring do,
Would ultimately serve to save the day and lead to kissing too.

They’d fall into each other’s arms as his tattered shirt reveals,
His blood stained bulging biceps and the love for her he feels.

And just before the credits role “The End” comes up on the screen,
Then a tiny vial falls off the lab bench and a question mark is seen.

They don’t make them like that any more but why I just can’t say,
Possibly because tastes have changed and now good taste rules the day.

So You Have a Lot of Money
By Franklin Price
12/3/2015

So you have a lot of money - Maybe are a billionaire
The how's and why's the way you got it - I myself don't really care
You're working now to keep it - Maybe even want some more
If you're a citizen of the U.S. - You should check up on the score

The environment is capitalist - That gives the U.S. ONE
There are the breaks in taxes - TWO for country for you none
The environment is mostly free - Many places to invest
That's THREE and Four there's so much more - You still have none to pass the test

The Senators and Congressmen - Tend to move most things your way
With your money and influence - You now have ONE and that is sway
Depends on how you use it - Tells what others think of you
To make more money for yourself - Is not all that you should do

Help make this country better - Bring less fortunate along
Invest in Education – Help put us back where we belong
Invest in others' efforts - To put money in your shoe
To aid in helping others – Gives you a score of TWO

Won't always make you money – Will make you better you will see
To give to others for no return – Gives you a score of THREE
Some rich say no one helped them – You are free these words to say
I can easily show you're lying - Our founding fathers paved the way

I'm sure that others helped along – Maybe still are there for you
So the way I'm looking at it – Is you owe this country too
Take advantage of the giving holes – And they won't be voted out
Giving something back to proliferate – Is part of what it's all about

Premium Member Guns of Summer

How I now long to sing a song
With "guns" as its only word
A solitary droning tone
Fiercely sung such it need be heard

Higher than half its height
Should our banner fly
As this sorrowful summer simmers on
And slaughtered June becomes corpse of July

Nightclub, traffic stop, city block
Muslim, blue, black, gay
Tiny lives that matter not
To congressmen and NRA

For in America the highest law,
Ready must we always be
With God-given rightful arms bared
To throw off imminent tyranny

Repeal Day

Repeal Day

In terms of holidays, it’s not in the same league as Christmas and New Year’s Day. Still, anyone who enjoys a cold beer ought to raise a glass in honor of Repeal Day.
On Dec. 5, 1933, Congress ratified the 21st Amendment to the Constitution, sweeping away Prohibition and quenching the thirst of Americans. Of course, it was not as simple as that. North Carolina did not repeal until 1935, and to this day, the state is still a patchwork of alcohol laws.

On December the 5th, 1933
The constitution was changed to please you and me
Prohibition died with the signed 21st
And Americans quenched a 13 year thirst.
But some states rebelled keeping “No Drinking” alive
North Carolina kept at it till the year ’35.
Now we can all drink till our eyeballs are floating
Just not while we’re driving – not while we’re boating
For if we get caught on a D.W.I
We’ll be hauled into court and asked to tell why
You’ll pay a big fine or in jail you’ll be wiltin’
Unless you are Lindsey or maybe a Hilton
So lets raise a glass to the Congressmen who
Sponsored this bill and pushed it on through
So that all of your friends and all of their kin
Could bathe now that the bathtub is not filled with gin

I’m not a drinker, a drunkard, a sot
To drink or abstain to me matters not
But one who imbibes has what I ain’t got
An excuse for the things that they say

So here’s to the boozehound, the guzzler, the lush
The rumdum, the rummy who’s speaking is mush
The tippler, the wino with their rosy blush
Drink up for it’s now Repeal Day

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Inside the Box

Washington always “thinks inside the box.”
No wonder why we're in this fix we're in.
Their collective thinking stifles or blocks
The country’s progress and provides the spin
To sway the public view to uselessness.
This herd mentality is quite bizarre
To think that all these minds can not express
A single “out of the box" thought thus far.
It’s piteous, at least to me, to see
These coattail hangers we call congressmen-
Inane, inept reps of the bourgeoisie
Wind up screwing us time and time again.
One must conclude this simple inference:
Vote in or vote out makes no difference.

Jobless Claims

congressmen claim they’re
working for our happiness
while we crave for JOBS!

The Third Row

The Third Row
(A Medal of Honor Ceremony Held Nov 16, 2010)

There in the third row
Invited to see
The Medal of Honor
Presented to me
There sat the parents
Of soldiers who died
Out in a far field
With me by their side
Not in the front row
No, that couldn’t be
They’re in the third row
Crammed in knee to knee
And just cross the aisle
The third row again
There sat my parents
And my closest kin
There, barely seeing
Past shoulders and heads
There sat my parents
As honors were read
Why not the front row
Who ranked above these
Congressmen, Senators
I beg of you – please!
They were there for the pictures
That were sure to be taken
As the president left
It’s their hands he was shakin’
And what of my parents
There in the third row
And the parents of soldiers
What respect did that show?
We soldiers signed oaths
To give up life and limb
Defending our country
But what about him
He’s shaking the hands
In row one and row two
While the folks in row three
Don’t know what to do
With all due respect
We would all like to know
Why were all the parents
There in the third row?

Ssgt Sal Giunta was presented the Medal of Honor at the White House on November 16, 2010 for his heroics during a firefight on Oct 25, 2007.

Let Us Prey

The Lord above, he came to me and whispered in my ear,
'some folks down there, live their lives in ignorance and fear,
so think how easy it would be to get them all to pay,
to listen to you spoutin' off about me every day! '

So next mornin' at the crack o' dawn I began my holy task,
by makin' sure that that first of all I would always ask,
my little congregation to pray real hard, then I'd holler,
that their prayers would work much better if supported by their dollar.

Now gradually my following grew bigger day by day,
then I was asked on to TV to let more folks hear me pray,
and now my preaching was on air every waking hour,
meaning that as my following grew, therefore did my power.

I now own the votes of senators and congressmen as well,
and if they don't do as I say, then I'll make 'em go to hell,
'cos me and the Almighty greenback, have gotten us a pact,
that the gates of heaven will only open, to those who pay to join my act.

About Corruption

What do we know about corruption? I would say:
a lot and sometimes not enough. There nis corruption
of children, prostitution and a lot of other things, but
there is also corruption in the Goverment.

It has been said that a new bill should get started for
the coming elections. All Goverment people should be
put on Social Security. Do you think there is corruption
in Social Security?

Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into
into Social Security and do not collect from it. They
said that Social Security benefits were not suitable
for people of their rare elevation.

They came up with a special plan for themselves.
many years ago they voted in their own Benefit Plan.
Now in more recent years no Congress person has
seen a reason to change that plan.

When they retire - they continue to recieve the same
pay until they die. The only change is that it may
increse now and than for cost of living.

Senators and Congressmen will draw about $7.800,000,00
With their wives drawing $275,000.00 during the last
years of their lives. Younger Dignitaires that retire at an
earlier age will recieve a lot more.

Their cost for this excellent plan is nothing. You and I pay
for them, out of our own Social Security Plan, which which
we paid or will pay until we retire. We will get an average
of $1000.00 a month and maybe less.

Is there Corruption in Social Security or what? It would
be good if their Golden Fleece Retirement Plan was
taken away and put them in our own Social Security Plan,
like the rest of us. Maybe than the plan would be fixed...
