Who's in charge here?

Can't they hear us?

No ear, perhaps!

Who’s in Charge Here

Alas, past poets hid their angst
stored it in poetic banks
deep vaults nurtured and then fed
the hearts and minds of those who led

a revolution
harsh
and crass
that shouted
you can kiss my ass.
I shall vent, and roar
and laugh again
at all your rules
“Hallmarkian”.

and then I’ll smote...

Who’s in Charge Here?

Rules obscure the boundaries
of nothingness.
Migrant marauders seeking
mindfulness
narrow the funnel’s
outflow
squeezing the contents
to slow-flo.

Purity of thought denies
mind’s murky masquerade
smiling faces mockingly
engage in lie’s charade.

Pencil stalking
stark white sage
suppressing passion’s
white hot rage
encage the wrath
of poesy
declare such lusts
all heresy.

Blindfolded poets
ever-night
a string-less freedom
seeking kite.

GOD DID NOT DIE AND LEAVE YOU IN CHARGE

God didn't die and leave you in charge.
Who told you that you could decide who lives, and whose to die.?
Stop trying to take lives that you did not give life to.
God didn't die and leave you in...

Dear God, What's My Charge?
This poem is about how I feel the world has betrayed at most every turn.

I received my awakening,
About the age of three,
Too young for understanding,
Of why it was me.
A house full of roaches,
A room shared by four,
A floor thick with ashes,
A splintered front door.

At the...

Charge It
I only just begun to charge
Impulsive buys are way too large
My credit card sighs
While bankbook cries
My pay cheque I need to enlarge

*So many things to buy since I bought a house, but I really am a wise shopper : )...

No Charge
A heart full
of love,
She freely gives,
There's no charge.
A listening ear,
while she dries,
all of your tears,
no charge.
Your cuts, and scrapes,
she patches up,
no charge.
She cooks, and cleans,
without complaint,
no charge.
She's a special lady,
like no other,
and for being,
your Mother,
there's no charge....

Premium Member You Should Never Charge a Poor Woman
You should never charge a poor woman for the price of her soul
for she may go to a five and dime and buy spirits over it
she can't pay for her soul and spirits both
she steals spirits and loses her soul as an unrepentant sinner
Then she...

The Charge At Beersheba
The Australian Light Horse had rode all night
And the troopers were all spoiling for a fight
For they remembered mates lose on the fatal shore
When the Turks defeated the Gallipoli Invasion flaw

But Chauvel wanted to wait 'til the sun was down
And so they rested all day...

The Charge of Youth
Spread forth your wings and fly, fair youth!
Though time is terse and winds are strong,
No brisker bird can glide as smooth.
Fly out and roam, your day’s not long!

Old age will come, so soar in song!
Break free of chains—the time is right—
And do not waste...

WHO'S IN CHARGE?

Backseat drama
has crossed the line?
Do not cave!
YOU are THE mama!
They don't behave?
Just one more whine
you must be resigned
to drive them home, to bed/pajamas!
Then, enjoy some time to have the wine
you crave!

Man In Charge
Sometimes I take a walk
Down Pioneer Road
Destination lookout post
Hoist my own colours
On that white flag pole
To let them all know
The master's in residence

Settle in the boss's chair
Look out over the ship yard
And pretend that I'm in charge
Mine is...

Nor the Eiffel Tower lean in slump
