Who's in charge here?

Can't they hear us?

No ear, perhaps!

Who’s in Charge Here

Alas, past poets hid their angst
stored it in poetic banks
deep vaults nurtured and then fed
the hearts and minds of those who led

a revolution
harsh
and crass
that shouted
you can kiss my ass.
I shall vent, and roar
and laugh again
at all your rules
“Hallmarkian”.

and then I’ll smote thee
with devices
to cover up
my cherished vices

scatter words
across your senses
awaken dreams
poke sticks at demons
place a picture
in your mind
that makes you slowly
look behind
curtains
filtering your light.

six broken eggs
mother nature’s omelet
blended harmony

Who’s in Charge Here?

Rules obscure the boundaries
of nothingness.
Migrant marauders seeking
mindfulness
narrow the funnel’s
outflow
squeezing the contents
to slow-flo.

Purity of thought denies
mind’s murky masquerade
smiling faces mockingly
engage in lie’s charade.

Pencil stalking
stark white sage
suppressing passion’s
white hot rage
encage the wrath
of poesy
declare such lusts
all heresy.

Blindfolded poets
ever-night
a string-less freedom
seeking kite.

GOD DID NOT DIE AND LEAVE YOU IN CHARGE

God didn't die and leave you in charge.
Who told you that you could decide who lives, and whose to die.?
Stop trying to take lives that you did not give life to.
God didn't die and leave you in charge.
Mad man- take your billions and search for your soul.
Money is your god; You want power and control.
but the big guy above the sky...didn't die, and
Leave you in control
Mother nature will remove the weak and send them home.
We don't need your beastly mark 666, in a Bill, or in a pill, or in a vaccine.
He gave us dominion over the earth, and each of us an earthly home.
Stay in your lane, leave people alone, because:
The Creator of this world “is still on his throne",
we know who you are and we know what you’re doing.
And when the people rebel it's your life, and after-life that'll be ruined.
Those who are carrying out your third world disorder scheme,
are the same ones who'll share in your torture and shame...
I know what i am saying, hope you catch my drift before i drop names...
Soon the living God will call all chaos to order.
Because the God of this universe is alive, well and at large...
God is not dead....and you’re not in charge.

Charge It

I only just begun to charge
Impulsive buys are way too large
My credit card sighs
While bankbook cries
My pay cheque I need to enlarge

*So many things to buy since I bought a house, but I really am a wise shopper : )

Premium Member You Should Never Charge a Poor Woman

You should never charge a poor woman for the price of her soul
for she may go to a five and dime and buy spirits over it
she can't pay for her soul and spirits both
she steals spirits and loses her soul as an unrepentant sinner
Then she gets busted as she gets caught, losing her soul and spirits both
you should never charge a poor woman for the price of her soul

No Charge

A heart full
of love,
She freely gives,
There's no charge.
A listening ear,
while she dries,
all of your tears,
no charge.
Your cuts, and scrapes,
she patches up,
no charge.
She cooks, and cleans,
without complaint,
no charge.
She's a special lady,
like no other,
and for being,
your Mother,
there's no charge.

The Charge of Youth

Spread forth your wings and fly, fair youth!
Though time is terse and winds are strong,
No brisker bird can glide as smooth.
Fly out and roam, your day’s not long!

Old age will come, so soar in song!
Break free of chains—the time is right—
And do not waste your gift for wrong:
Dive forth and chase away the night!

All spite shall burn, red skies alight,
For naught can stop the glow of truth!
The world’s old ways will die in flight,
For who can stop the charge of youth?

WHO'S IN CHARGE?

Backseat drama
has crossed the line?
Do not cave!
YOU are THE mama!
They don't behave?
Just one more whine
you must be resigned
to drive them home, to bed/pajamas!
Then, enjoy some time to have the wine
you crave!

Static Electricity
Gives quite a jolt to you and me
It will attack without a sound
Unless we both find common ground

Limerick : Once a Stud Stallion in wild Mare charge

       for Rick Zablocki
(as promised from the horse’s mouth)

Once a Stud Stallion in wild Mare charge
Didn’t see his gear was far too large
Hit goal right smack in poke
Mare humped : It in two broke
Since then in stud-farm draws dunged-straw barge.

Man In Charge

Sometimes I take a walk
Down Pioneer Road
Destination lookout post
Hoist my own colours
On that white flag pole
To let them all know
The master's in residence

Settle in the boss's chair
Look out over the ship yard
And pretend that I'm in charge
Mine is the permit required
To sail or dock
Load or unload
Board or disembark

Shift that boat
It spoils the view
Don't park that crane there
I'd rather my picture was not obscured
By your crisscrossed steel beams
Somebody dim those lights
It's way past time
You all went home

Then lower the flag
Walk away satisfied
A days work done
In however many minutes
I feel allowed
To dwell a man in charge
Ship yard's master in his own mind

Premium Member Limerick: No Cossacks Charge Down Arc De Triomphe

Limerick: No Cossacks charge down Arc de Triomphe

No Cossacks charge down Arc de Triomphe
Champs Elysée hourra! in triumph
For World Ruler no less
Come to check French prowess
World rivets eyes according to Gumph

Here the Seine rises not to greet Trump
Nor the Eiffel Tower lean in slump
Loose tract of Arctic ice
Bound for US in vice
Great Leader returns to rule vast swamp

At last the World will groan all alone
At Djibouti PRC horns blown
Will Marines take over
From Great Landless Leader
Thus ends Climate Change Treaty in clone !

Premium Member Peace From Psychopaths In Charge

IT'S NOT GENIUS, IT'S INSANITY.
FOLLOW ALONG AND KEEP PACE WITH ME PLEASE.

I TRAVEL FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT.
WHEN I LAY DOWN MY BODY TO REST AT NIGHT.

I LEAVE THIS WORLD TO BE ALL ALONE.
IN SEARCH OF A MOMENT I LIKE TO CALL HOME.

YOU CAN CALL IT THE END. IT'S WHERE IT ALL STARTED.
A TRANSITIONING POINT FROM A WORLD DEPARTED.

IT'S NOT ABOUT TIME. IT'S ALL ABOUT BEING.
SUROUNDED WITH PEACE IS ALL I AM NEEDING.

IT'S MUCH MORE THAN LIFE AND NOT JUST A FEELING.
I'M NOT JUST ASLEEP. I'M IN PERSUIT OF A HEALING.

WHEN I AWAKE, IT'S ALL STILL THE SAME.
A WORLD BEING RUN BY THE CRIMINALLY INSANE.

Who Is In Charge

Bear no grudge to anyone, nor fear man’s puny wrath

Who makes the thunders roll, or quiet it’s rumbling sounds
Who breathes the breath of life, or takes it with a word
Who makes the winds to blow, or calms the troubled seas
Who fed the children of Israel with manna, when from Egypt they did flee
Who feeds the lilies of the fields, who give the birds their seeds
Who fills the rain with nourishment, then on the fields they gentle fall
Who makes the goats to bring forth kids and the sheep to have its kind
Who makes a woman to have a child and a man the father of it be
Who holds the seas to shore and the river banks from overflowing
Who spreads the stars in space and holds the moon in its place
Who gives earth an axis, so it can revolve around the sun
Who made the sun to rule the day and the moon to shine by night
Who was the light of day to wondering Israel and a flaming fire by night

The Lord, strong and mighty in battle, the Lord of Host is He
So let no one scare you into thinking, they have your life in hand
Only the God of Heaven can say how and where you go
When you put your trust in Him and your faith in Him is whole
He the maker of us be and the keeper of our ways
Bless the Lord for all His grace, in Heaven He prepares for us a place
