Your heart has a yearning
And a burning desire
To share what you’re learning
Like voices of a choir
Small pieces of paper
With the things you have thought
A con or a caper
How the villain was caught
No time is a wrong time
If you wake up at night
With a thought of a rhyme
Then you know you must write
Watching movies with you
Your friends do not enjoy
For you catch every clue
And discern every ploy
And time seems to fly by
When you sit down to write
With that glint in your eye
There is no end in sight
You longed for the teacher
To ask each for a story
You wrote down your feature
Of our flag called, “Old Glory”
Friends with the dictionary
Filled with word after word
To some it seemed scary
When the big words they heard
But not to the writer
You knew you’d become
A reader delighter
You knew you’d please some
So write on forever
As your stories you tell
A writer so clever
Right inside you doth dwell

Boosts my ego with plenty of praise

While I run things don't feel like a Lone Ranger

Can participate in more esoteric discussions with our friends
This is important to learn new things from him/her.

MY SCORPIO CHARACTERISTICS
I don’t believe in astrology these days
But I believe in my wife, and she says
October 25 is in the middle of the stinger’s ways.
Generous with my love, money, equipment, stuff;
But possessive, and unwilling to share problem or triumph.
Jealous and self-blaming - always biting my own tail deadly and curled,
seeking a round unvarnished tale of perfection in this imperfect world.
Intelligent, with brains to burn - combustion-free cogitation.
Intense, I even relax intensively - high-speed industrial relaxation.
Secretive, my left hand knows not what’s in the right hand’s palm:
My agitated mind knows nothing about this poem’s balm,
It was written by the heart entirely calm.

Forgetfulness is not one of my better traits
Never the result of any foregone conclusion,
I could blame it on the narrow-minded fates
Or other faults my mind harbors in profusion.
Of all those ills, none causes me such anxiety
As forgetting a most important appointment,
And I try to make all those occasions a rarity
Since they always produce a disappointment
And, sometimes a missed appointment fee!

I wear my emotions on my face,
Cry at the snap of your hand,
With seriousness, life I embrace,
A tender touch, I demand,
Kind and gentle with a smile always,
That's what you will see outside,
Inside, I churn and hide my malaise,
You'll never know why I cried,
With straightforward faith to lead me on,
A poem to match my moods,
Looking forward to heaven's new dawn,
Brazenness, my pen exudes.

The Christian way is no easy task
God's call is a call to fully endure
many obstacles have to be overcome
but victory's assured for God is sure
A true Christian shows real godliness
having deep humility to put others first
denying one's self have no worldly want
only God fills one with spiritual thirst

producing eternal kingdom affection
to renounce the world's pleasures
so give the Lord full attention
God sends his spirit in one's heart

living holy lives to give Him glory

They do not worry!

Birds must constantly look for food

God the Father feeds them
Even though they must constantly look for food
The Kingdom of God destroys the characteristics of Worry!
God the FATHER is our SOURCE
He is our Provider
He is our Leader; He is our King
His Government will take care of us!

Faith is knowledge and trust
Faith has 7 characteristics
1. Faith is a sheer gift of God which we receive when we fervently ask for it
2. Faith is a supernatural power that is absolutely necessary if we are to attain salvation
3. Faith requires free will and clear understanding of a person when he accepts the divine invitation
4. Faith is absolutely certain because Jesus guarantees it
5. Faith is incomplete unless it leads to active love
6. Faith grows when we listen more and more carefully to God’s word and enter a lively exchange with Him in prayer
7. Faith gives us even now a pre-taste of the joy in heaven
Many say believing is not enough for them; they want to know
Believing has two different meanings
1. If the parachutist is the clerk at the airport, “Is the parachute packed safely?” the other man answers casually “Hmm, I believe so” then that will not be enough for him; he would like to know it for sure
2. But if he asked a friend to pack the parachute, then the friend will answer the question by saying “Yes, I did it personally. You can trust me! To that the parachutist will reply “Yes, I believe you” This belief is more than knowing; it means assurance.
