Forgetfulness

Forgetfulness is not one of my better traits
Never the result of any foregone conclusion,
I could blame it on the narrow-minded fates
Or other faults my mind harbors in profusion.
Of all those ills, none causes me such anxiety
As forgetting a most important appointment,
And I try to make all those occasions a rarity
Since they always produce a disappointment
And, sometimes a missed appointment fee!

I have always hated when someone wasted my time by making an appointment and then not showing up. Steps on my last nerve!

Maurice Rigoler August 25, 2022 at 6:13 PM I have to write down on a large desk calendar all my upcoming appointments, time and place. And that also includes paying my bills on time, otherwise I pay a fine for lateness, even though my record is near perfect! To stop the late fees I pay on line. / Maurice
