Centripetal

The crimson moon bawls on his flight
Doleful to be condemned to night

His samba partner teems with life
Yet he hangs listless filled with strife

Whilst craters pock his dusty face
Her smooth profile glows soft with grace

Waves splash coyly along her skin
As parching drought afflicts the twin

Halo membranes caress her soul
While he claims little to extol

He’s locked away from that embrace
Like a buckle upon her waist

Sequestered on his lofty perch
He ponders how to end his lurch

He tries to shake his mantle free
So he can float with meek debris

Just as he starts to drift away
He hears whispers begin to play

Prayers hailing romance twist his ear
Until he melts away from fear

Maybe those folks below can see
Just how lonely the moon can be

Words purify to help him heal
His love for her shall make him real

The Gold Rush

They must have thought that I was brought here to do the numbers....
Ninty-nine's einsteinium square dance razzle dazzle then you shuffle a masque ?
Halloween arrived although ushering in an unknown, mutation towards
These centripetal forces ? Ancient's prophecy to bring into fold of trembling
Foretold standing at their threshold love's thresher; combatant the messenger
If all else shall fail ? Indubitable, unto His heavens as her Angels whom know..
Quietus with hands full of good tidings this heart and a golden marionette ?
Crossing inevitables Mason-Dixon line; cyber space Spirits humanity; poetics Waterloo.

Sandy

The hurricane has now arrived.
Her centripetal Cyclops eye,
swirling wind and wall of water
whirling, churning, surging cyclone
wreaking death and devastation
on the east coast population.
Amidst this inundated scene
the hapless, helpless victims screamed
for mercy but none could be found
instead a swell of water drowned
the most vulnerable victims
lacking the means to escape from
an unforgiving super storm
the entire country now mourns.

I Saw It In the Mirror a Loop Poem

The prompt for our group was "I saw it the mirror, I saw it in my face"

If eyes are windows to the soul I saw mine in the mirror
Mirrors don’t lie they are simply a reflection
Reflections bear witness to our personal reality
Reality is our truth desired or not it is there
There is no running from what hides in our soul
Souls are seen in the mirror and I saw mine in my face
Face what’s harbored in my soul…. this is my journey
Journey if you dare it is a centripetal force

My Muse-Like Lover!

She is like the stars...placed in my eyes, shining bright...
A blanket of seduction wrapped around my beingn huging me tight...
She is like the rain, quenching my thirst with every kiss...
Calling for her restlessly in my dreams, caught-up in her bliss...
She is like my wings, soaring great heights through the sky...
Spanning my chamber with her love, in unison we fly...
She is like my Third-Vision, a majestic eagle seeing afar...
Beyond the lands of our forefathers...taking me to where sages are...
She's my innocence exposed, my thoughts that speaks loud & all I hoLd at heart dear...
Trembling with every depth of feeling, with every whisper that I hear...
She is like my breath, my every beat in rhythmic time...
I feel her, like centripetal-force, pulling me in as we entwine...
She is as I...in Love...

Untitled #43 / Centripetal Force

Centripetal force of a
whirling waterbottle, captured in it
the tornado of our youth
and reflecting a goofy smile.
Dare you say centrifugal?
Dare you graze the edge of a sharpened sword?

My Beautiful Father's Treasures

“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear

Unto myself, so that I may finish my race with joy....” ~

Panning for gold to gather jewels from the rivers bed flowing

Through the heart of this life aneath its, gravel and mire; murk?!

Not that I may purchase the things of this secular world to possess

Its material mirage yet, to attain the clarity in this centripetal beauty

Arising, from the spirals soot of its offerings amid burnt ashes....

Recycling this montane muse as being strained through its percipients grid

Compelled to be driven through a mazes vague imitations; tombs or treasures

Binding the blind to be cast into a temporals pit of pleasure, at a pawns price!?

Hidden cost within an indecipherable code; torn from pages crafted in deceit....

Running amid a margins marathon that has no finish lines of promise except

Crowns of thorns to wear imbedded in eyes which bleed their nights passing

In black magics blurry visions; from which I arise every morn when I awaken?!

Finding my way unto the crystal waters that I may pan for gold as sifting through

A recycled mythmakers maze of, mystiques strained and muddy mires....

Time Slip Not

When they pleasure powered down to rest,
their twin-engine heart was beating still
at the arterial warp speed of galactic love
With the endorphin catalyst fuel shutdown,
the rocket passion blast
was nearing impulse horizontal inertia
The space mariner woman at the bed starboard helm,
told her right-hand man navigating
to turn the hip thrusters off
They were entering the nebulous
mind-meld zone
A mysterious space-time place,
where the soul pulsar gravitational curvature
formed a time slip-knot:
A bonding phenomenon where time slip not
The captain of this supernova class starship,
guided the navigator’s empath thoughts
with her sparkling, ruby-coated lips
Giving moaning, non-verbal commands telepathically
Alerting him where the next neutrino ******
micro-particles would hit at multiple vulnerable spots
Opening ecstasy fissures in the epidermal hull skin
As other asteroidal pelvic disruptions
made the body-shaped ship merge force-field shudder
The time slip-knot
was a quantum quirk realm of hot
dilithium electromagnetic loving
They were caught in the invisible force
of two strong gender poles of attraction ...
causing time to slip not
The stars were frozen into place
like a crystalline solar plasma lake,
due to the time slip-knot
The dimension where perfunctory
social thermodynamic physics were forgot
The fastest stream of consciousness
slowed to a virtual excitation phase shift halt ...
Reversing the anticipated climax ecliptic slingshot,
lovemaking vibrations moved with stilled thought velocity —
Reaching the outer limits where time slip not
The starship enters into a centripetal vortex of sweat,
plunging into the black hole of no biochemical regret
Coming out on the other side
of the molecular maelstrom kinetic frenzy
Solar sailing thru the null pain void,
on serene serotonin waves of the deep-space emotional sea
Charting the light-years of joy ahead,
flight destination: twin planets X’ura and N’gora,
the charming, AI computer voice said
Retreating into their co-joined cushioned pod,
they rode the erotic cosmic journey out
in suspended romantic animation —
Face to face

For the Love of Poetry

Days arrive days go
January snow
Words shine
In dopamine and oxytocin
In black and white
In figures of delight
Also in colors
In milk and in liquors
The sensor in the prefrontal cortex
Is in a centripetal vortex
Sensitive to the letters
Holds the birds
The imagination tinkers
With their genetic make up
The bird of a tree
Is now in great glee
A bird in a pocket
Flirting with a locket
Poetry in the vicinity
Ephemeral days pulsate
For some moments
Into infinity
Making one psychiatric

Permutations

the blood has turned to red sand
I look at the shape of my hands
and wonder about the day
when they, too, will revert back
to the red sands I marched upon
as a youth

on the table the grapes shine
with the afternoon sun
and shadows of the day draw long
and indistinct
as I look for some semblance of
the shadow that was mine

it's not that I'm dying
it's that everyone is dying
the graveyard is full of plastic bags
caught in the trees
fluttering a song in the breeze
the skeletons wearing rags

the crust of the earth yawns, simpers
content to be so saturated with the radiation
from our fragmented thoughts
that spill forth and spend
not a nanosecond
waiting for a response

centripetal force has drawn me here
and as I draw in
resembling an empyrean tortoise
I feel the oxygen that was once used by
someone I loved near the event horizon
now inflating my lobes

cold tea for made from shade trees
the apex of the womb has
moved to an invisible location
that's on a precise point upon a
tangled glove-compartment map
the road to higher skies

I suppose you may mystify yourself
in the wake of a near collision
as everything coils up around your talus
the pleasantries emanating from your lips
meant something
in a parallel universe

a little girl wants her ball back
and the dogs say
come and try to get it
their hunger makes them piercing observers
the sand needs more red today
as far as they're concerned

Asante

I keep ringing your phone
Only to get back the last memory again
A voice frilled with youth
Laughing at the old man's obstinacy
One day you shall wish to find
In the centripetal torment of the world
I still pray for you
That his promise to you only good
And not evil
Through all your unmeasured out days
Will be more obstinate than my love.
I once rocked you from side to side
And know more days with you still
That any journal
Written between coffee break and lunch
Or long nights of absences and lies
To the empty heart supplied.
When you remember this and call
May lips not be sealed
Under some slab by a concrete wall
I just want to hear your voice ring
In my heart once again
             ii
Are you whole yet
Or you still afraid of shadows
Painted by your regrets
In the minds of crowds?
Can you make a fool of yourself
And love the way
The world laugh with you in a silly moment
Can you be yourself
And be proud of who you are
And your freedom not to follow some script
Of self appropriateness?
I tell you there is no success
Like the maturity
Self fruitfulness from that resourcefulness
Of acceptance
Of self and the world
As different places in similar times.

I used to think everyone was like me,
A mind in a myriad pieces.
     Some close together
     Others so far apart.

I used to think everyone was like me.
A mind as a colourful puzzle,
             Some parts easily found,
Others completely lost.

I used to think that my heart kept together
                                      What my mind shred apart.
                                      Some centripetal force
                                      Kept it glued in place.

But I know better now, centrifugal power
Forced my fragile mind to splinter,
                         Glue won't keep it centred,
                                      But my heart will.

Everything you can imagine is real.
Don't dismiss me for being me.
My core is warm and loving,
And welcoming you in.

And Blossom In Purple and Red

Windowed doubt shadows out peripheral.
Fear balances envisioned in centripetal.
Autumn’s amber hark back hearken.
Forgotten kits cry down, mother marten.
Good fellow robin indicates emending sprite.
Spring expands secret eyes only sight.
Droplets of hope dew days new dawn.
Open arms stretch a point wide yawn.
Hope turns a blind eye in despite way of head,
And blossom into purple and to red.

Circle

A man and a women stepped in tempo
walking in opposite directions
One walked slow, the other faster
Staring directly at their reflection

The man thought, the women pondered
They both continued there course
Neither stopped they both just wandered
Stuck by Centripetal force

both their paths crossed upon occasion
Experiences good and some hurtful
but eventually their lives gave into persuasion
and ended in a perfect circle

Interrogatory

imagine the sun
without light and spreading ashes

imagine the moon
with the light of the fire
and escalating furnace warming

imagine the ocean
without water and shedding the snowflakes

imagine the world
without anything and anyone

imagine the sky
without color and showing rainbow

imagine the space
without emptiness

imagine the galaxy
without centripetal-gravitational power
or with the alien mightiest more than human

imagine the self
without any blood, flesh, intestine, entrails
as the mightiest unseen wind

imagine death as life
and life as death
or life and death are a dream of human thinking

imagine if ancient someone named
the fire as water,
the water as soil,
the soil as wind,
the wind as space
the space as time
the time as endless human thinking
what would be then

nothing, nothingness would be the result
but like present the volatility of mind would kill
the straight forward common sense

I cannot tell you to follow all blindly
but do not imagine all as the criterion of truth
