Blood Red Moon
Deep devouring passions bleed now from this solar eclipse
As black blood flows from an evil army of “undead” beings
Whose fangs hideously and cruelly pierce the veins of their
Mesmerized and unsuspecting victims who are held at bay.
In such silence burdens prowl inside deep sad heartbeats
As ghastly living shadows creep eerily in and knot the
Tortured guts of a twisted scared bloodless life falling
Under the dark macabre gaze of the Blood Red Moon.
At night uncanny black magic spells are intoned in the
Old Latin scripture as large spider webs cast a gloomy
Presence and envelope now all those trapped by them as
The misted breath bleeding hearts howl to Heaven’s roar.
Standing upon a rugged and lonely mountain crossroad
There can be no release from the devilish glare of the
Vaunted “Blood Red Moon” whose evil presence pervades
Every breath you take and casts a demonic derisive stare.
My senses are now frozen in place as a deep chill shakes
My soul to the very core of its primordial existence as I
React to the cutting cold of a dawning maleficent darkness
Invading every corner and space of my psyche and existence.
The wicked jaws of a rabid beast seek now to bite and rip
All beauty from me and all thoughts I hold close and dear
As I gasp now for life and painfully feel my tired heartbeat
Slow as my immortal soul numbs and cries crocodile tears.
I’m cursed now to walk alone forever as my spilled remains
Are cut now and my ties of human existence have disappeared
Putting me on the ground on all fours as I ponder my ultimate
Fate in the hands of a supernatural force beyond any mercy.
As the shadow of Lucifer’s Blood Red Moon passes over my
Tortured face I spy a look at one demonic siren prompting me
Now to follow her as my body is placed on a sacrificial alter
And my life ebbs away as I’m kissed by spirits of the damned!

As the cycles of night and day renew,
a rising sun inks ebony skies blue.
And crystal drops of misty morning dew
sparkle like diamonds, as Dawn's light breaks through.
While the horizon bleeds a blood-red hue,
Night's twinkling stars disappear, right on cue.
And an owl breaks the silence with a "whoo,"
as shifting silhouettes come into view.
And a rooster crows cock-a-doodle-doo,
announcing Sol's spectacular debut.
Sleeping songbirds wake, to bid Night adieu;
basking in sunlight, as they're known to do.
Colored clouds absorb tints like a tissue,
held aloft with an invisible glue.
Nature's artwork, no artist can outdo:
for inspiration; it's Her; they turn to.

Dear Heart sponsor
In moonlight, where all lovers kiss
Beware the spell that charms a fool
For crimson red will vex the eyes
A capricious stain will startle eyes
A trick to tempt crossed lover's kiss
Bewitching every star-struck fool
If you choose to be the fool
Beguiled by moon, who winks an eye
Be wary of the moonlight kiss
A kiss will fool a blind man's eye, when stars conspire with the moon

The
color
of
blood that
courses through
our veins -
Red
throbs with
energy,
with passion for
life and love.
Red does
not
do things
by halves but
fully
gives
her whole
heart.

Poppies great beauty
Brave men dying for duty
Each nourish the earth.
Heart is racing,
Tears pour down my face
I open my eyes,
And see the blood red walls
Swarming in a pit of darkness.
I scream, no one answers
I plead, I am ignored
Oh God, what did I do?
What did I do to deserve this?
The yellow glare of the demon's eyes
Get brighter,
The cold breeze cuts through my skin,
There are no windows open.
Jane...Jane!
What called my name?
Go away demons!
Go back to the fiery pit of your underworld!
Footsteps are growing louder,
My world begins to spin
Faster and faster.
I fall and land somewhere
In the blood red room.
A sharp pain increases
In my mind,
I give in
And let my eyes flutter
Shut and await
To be let free.
A
blood red
drop
flows like
a liquid
ruby
down
the sides
of a wax
cerise candle
as its wick
burns with
flames
flaunting
magenta
scarlet
and
crimson
hues.

Maniacal State
Banner pledged sin in Blood Red
Country fueled in Hate
A blood-red private view of morning
A second chance to climb the attic stairs.
The ceiling, ticking time, cascades
A thousand pricking darts, stampeding
Purple chariots, blanketing the sky.
The zealot's blade, so swift to still
The heart that beats an alien rhythm,
No backward glance to desolation.
Within a vastness all-consuming,
The wolf retreats to primal isolation
And howls unheeded at a distant,
Cold and quite indifferent moon.
As thunder clouds converge
And drown all hope of harvest home,
We find that, like the wolf, we are alone.
Inertia quickens, takes a hand,
At last to move the day.
The cabbage, wilting on the edge of sanity,
Bleakly views the blackened pot.
The steady chop chop chop is heralding
The grand ensemble of the daily stew.
Regardless, now the day's awake,
The perils lost in sleep are there anew.
The blood-red now transforms to palest grey.
The resurrected monotone of every day.
"Love, Blood Red"
I trusted with you my heart.
I trusted with you my Special Love.
I trusted with you, with YOU..
Everything I'm made to, for, and of...
I was willing to wipe all your mistakes entirely away,
Your Light to keep shining dissolving all the grey.
But while I was busy Loving you, your mistakes and all,
You were busy knifing my heart, enjoying every fall
Of every tear, of every drop of blood you could drain,
Drinking from my misery, guzzling down my pain.
As you lick your lips, sucking my blood of rosy red,
Are you dreaming of the day when I'll at last be dead?
Are you looking for hatred in my heart to find,
While shredding it and torturing my mind?
Sorry to disappoint you dear, sorry I'm without,
But my heart is filled with Love, keeping hatred out.
In my heart I grow Love, Love grows just for YOU,
With forgiveness and understanding, always on renew.
But in your heart you grow hatred and ego fed pride,
So abundantly there's no room for Love to reside.
Because your heart for Love has no space or room,
Destroying mine became your mission to entomb.
As the last drops you suckle from my bleeding heart,
With my last breath I'll say I Love YOU as I leave, depart.
As you taste the final drop, will you smile at your victory then,
Knowing it's my last drop, you'll ever drink again?

Seen through the eyes,of the dead and dying. Sad pain ever remembered, within a heartache. Young people ever die,to preserve a way of life. War is such a sin, mankind killing off it's children. In Flanders Field, white crosses seem so endless. And poppies grow, the color of fresh blood. A sad reminder,of things so soon forgotten. That wars forever kill, our sons and daughters. We live within our pains, forever crying. As war toys, ever crush and grind our bones. Thoughts within our minds,so often trampled down. For in weighs upon the shoulders,of all mankind. Within the fields, tear drops in crimson falling. Ever flowing down the cheeks,of baby soldiers. And pain ignites, like an out of control fire. Within the hearts and souls,of mothers and fathers. In the end,we must remember that war is painful. And therefore must be stopped, before it starts. The young and innocent, forever give their flesh and blood. While politicians who start wars, ever stay at home relaxing. And in Flanders Fields, the blood red poppies grow. In among white crosses, ever becoming more and more. And we seem so much better,at attending to the flowers. Then we are,at ever watching our children grow old.
A young boy stands, surrounded by shadows
Within the midst of a glittering blade
He says he can’t bare to see his morrows
Preparing for his final escapade
He indolently raises with a grin
This shining dagger with its deadly head
The boy is committing his dying sin
This glistening dagger is now blood red
The boy falters to the floor; He’s now dead
He quickly realizes in disarray
He’s awoken within a fiery spread
Punished for the being that he would slay
He's trying to pray for his salvation
But he’s here for his deathless damnation

A crimson tide o'er Golgotha ascends
No chalice held, a sacrifice.
The Holy Week
a shroud that slowly rends.
Mourning flocks
adrift from faith's secure fold.
A traitor’s kiss,
a friendship bought and sold.
Peter's denial,
a love that cannot mend.
A crown of thorns
a cruel and mocking crowd.
The weight of sin on Christ
Savior, true friend.
Through Gethsemane's forsaken
shadowed mire.
He trod
a steadfast soul
with love's eternal fire.
His final breath
a lamented prayer
a ragged cry.
A promise etched in every gasping sigh.
From darkest night
a radiant dawn shall rise.
Redemption’s hymn
a dove
takes to the skies.
Though flesh may fail
love’s covenant remains.
A chalice brimming
hope never dies
breaks the chains.
