Best Bewitching Poems

No litter, no rules, no society scent,
just peninsula pure soul content, ideally lent.
Awed and wowed with arms stretched wide,
I stand on Key’s narrow road, on narrow land,
surrounded by two sea gems and their sand.

This dream road sea-drowns, down south’s horizon
and thrills my innocence without even trying.

Western growth is dense and a fence in Gulf’s yard.
Her wave’s sirens are blue-salt diamonds
and I am mesmerized by their titan climbing.

East unfolds turquoise enchantments unmarred –
The playful, poetic Atlantic off guard,
bewitching and hypnotic in regard.

Dazzled, I sit in the sea, shoulders deep.
Powder soft ocean floor thrones me nicely.
I could sit the day in this sea so sultry.
Flirty, allusive, emerald joys leap
as languid, luscious wet meets sun’s glee,
sending my senses high where memories keep.

These expressive ocean blues and greens
are of patterns and ways, I have never seen.
Sensual and graceful, each sea touch is delight –
as soothing in feel as pleasure in my sight.
Before me spreads endless bounty of ocean glean.
Under Florida-kissed skies, I sit wet and serene.

The Bewitching Call of the Siren

She ululates a forlorn desire for a human love;
She’s pure evil, not from God’s Heaven above.
This siren’s seductive melody is heard on all seas,
And even on the largest lakes and flowing rivers;
Bringing even seafarers near Die Lorelei to shivers!
Beguiling young sailors to such a ghastly death;
This vile creature’s venom is felt with each breath!
Her visage is one of true love and blessed pulchritude,
Yet Lucifer’s mask is dark with great evil certitude!
Her perfumed scent enlivens her victims’ senses,
Whilst her dark green eyes and deep wet kisses;
Mesmerize her prey, oblivious now to all consequences;
Now feeling her fatal bites and hearing her hideous hisses!
She taketh all pleasure in her world of this evil measure,
Enthralling all her sad victims to a most horrible death;
Now Lucifer counts with joy the lost souls’ treasure!
Always sans merci this siren be to those in her grot,
As her victims find their souls lost to Hell’s dark rot!
Beware say I to all good seafarers, do heed this tale well;
Be deaf to this siren’s call or your life shall end in Hell!

A magic forest
Where chipmunks slide down moon beams
       And squeal with delight

Oh listen! You'll hear
    robins splash their tiny feet
        in pools of dewdrops

Like laughing children
    Crickets are playing their harps
        And dancing with joy

 Sweet songs at bedtime
   Moss covered carpets, soften
       the music for sleep

Hushed now, cadence of
   summer evening melody
      bewitching the dark

Bewitching

How come you hold the key
To the Eden's apple and gra-vity

You allure me in like a meteor in space
And scrumptious is thy Apple's taste

Just as Eve, I couldn't resist your charm
As Your aura feels at home and warm

Like the Earth I hover in the space around
And like the sun's pull, you keep me gladly bound

So here I stand, ___ over the Moon..!!

Premium Member Bewitching Power

Ah men, always at the ready to take power;
the wisdom that a woman has poses a threat.
So, defame the dame, give her warts, watch men cower
make her the spawn of demon's, make devils her get.

Call her witch, and let her lure men to her bower,
let her kindness to help and heal bring naught but regret.
Call her hell hound's ***** who with her kiss devours,
yet, in your heart of heart you know; you're in her debt.

Her life will be forfeit; so you can keep her dower,
ah men, have you no souls, by greed you are beset.
How many widowed wives have been dis-empowered,
robbed, and scoured to claim their power men are set.

Bewitching Night

Lover 1

bewitching night
screech owls mock our sighs
toiled forest path

Lover 2

lonely moonless sky
thousand strokes of raven hair
silk sheets undisturbed
jasmine scented candles burn

Bewitching Hour - Midnight Contest

The clock is ticking
Their counting down
End of one year
Another has begun

Midnight is a special time
Keeping today and tomorrow apart
It's the time for lovers
Many with broken hearts

Midnight the bewitching hour
When things look in a different light
Sadness that was yesterday
Now gives us a day of delight

To be born at midnight
Can cause confusion now and then
One birth sign or the other
Which character signal will she send

Your birth at midnight,
Time of sadness and gloom
Brings a smile to all
Brightening up the room

A song was written about you
"Gonna wait til the midnight hour
Til love comes tumbling down"
The bewitching hour, is now

Bewitching Nights

On a lonely night, ages ago
A timid soul let her worries flow
Into an abyss of filth and scars
At the sight of a colossal yellow mass

Million miles the mass traversed in vacuum
To let its rays rekindle the flame of dying love with hue
And to chase the ghosts of sorrows away
To a land so barren and not so gay
She shed the layers of gloom
To let her naked soul eternally bloom
Embrace did she every hued ray
Which made love to her in a surreal way
Every touch defined an era of mesmerizing warmth
Of the twinkling stars and moon so calm
The lonely nights,ever since,
bestowed endless love on a soul with no kins

A Bewitching Tale

Another one for Halloween :P

I'm passing by the old, scary house
That the eighty year old woman
Resides in with her black cat
Some thought she was a witch
When she would cast spells
With her black cat
Beside her
All the
Time.

One night, she came knocking on my door
Carrying bright red, tasty apples
She offered me one to eat
When I ate one, I died
The apples were full
Of blue poison;
She's a witch
After
All.

Premium Member Bewitching of the Falling Hours

Bewitching of the falling hours, true ascendance found
By this chance to rise, I have real transcendence found
Your lips find a way to see me; two eyes make the voice
No tears I shed, you're being seen; no disruptence found
I'm stunned; are you a living form of ketamine?
It can't be; you touched me, I am not convenience found
Your eyes are the stars, hard to be lost, but lost; I am
Sailing toward the view; we are their convergence found
Hold no obligation, you repair this damaged heart
You are flame eternal for me; no dissidence found

bracelets on doorknobs
ectoplasmical goo on the floor
chanting tinkling music
lifeless creatures arranged in a circle
round a book of verse
curtains yanked from their moorings
broken glass
muddy footprint trail
undecipherable writings on the wall
books ripped apart, their pages floating on the air
drawers open their contents vomited out
closets spilling everything
all about chaos and mayhem reign in dizzying derision

What's happening?
Poltergeist or spell,
Which is it?

It's just my darling granddaughter here for a visit!
