Premium Member We Go 2 War -Living In The USA

I had the worst terrors last night
My mind was in a gruesome sight
The ‘ol apocryphal scene
Insighted by the new regime

Migration bill stirs fear among
Farmworkers chant that It’s Wrong!
Phone app saves Honduran journalist
Can’t go back she’s on their death list
Can’t walk ‘n get food without stress
ICE is cold, enforcing arrests
Or anywhere, nonetheless
For a green card is meaningless

Now a tourist destination
Gaza's newest sensation
Take over plans for a Riviera
Palestine people’s tierra*
Taken; territory sovereign
New rich owner YOU ONLY gain
Who be the beneficiaries
Billionaire contemporaries

For undoence he’s called a hero
Those sacrificed their life for, zero
Those fought for everyone’s freedom
In vain forgotten in this new kingdom
Unbeknownst me how it plays out
Living in the USA, peace-out

The Tribute

To the legendary teacher I pay tribute
For imparting live voices to the mute
You paid gratitude
To the multitude
On the mountain top you stood
And all the heads understood
You never said ‘Never’
As admired in Geneva;
Tremendous work for real
Remains in me a thrill!

You explored the world
Left in me a living word
Instilled sight onto my mind
In place of being blind.
Domesticated me where I went wild
I lost you – I remain worried
Your education
Was a dedication
For my emancipation
Through marked participation

Hot springs of wits gush out of turgid mazards
Thus; unleashing veracity poses no hazards
From the famous profit and loss account
To how elasticity of demand is paramount
The art of blending species of flora in the gardens,
Merging ideas to console those carrying burdens
Powders mixed to thwart the woes of gout
For chemical blending of dust into ceramic tiles and grout
Artistic laying of tiles with no doubt,
Farmers add granules of compounds to combat drought
Mixing small grains into carling draught
Or into flour and oil for palatable dishes and crust
Spinning of the ginnery, linen craft
Crafting aprons which the chefs trust
Perpendicular tors of triumph echo from Arithmetic
Beneficiaries seducing lasses with cosmetics.
Rhyming rhythms of iambic pentameter;
With 13 amps flowing – records the ammeter,
Or 6 000 amps of the high voltage arc
Fusing rival elements into the Ark
Compelling hard cores of high resistance
Leaving them for complete ‘non-existence’.

We had signed the Teacher concession;
Of study, participation and concentration,
That was the ‘Moyo Treaty’.
Though the exam is always tricky
Finally we dilute the concentrate
Textbook to notes - our carbohydrate.
I recalled my teacher through secondary
That he knew no boundary
He taught to set apart
What had been one part
He taught negative effects of Mainstay,
But God has the main stay
That death has a long stay!
Water is enough to stay!

In that his last essay
He scribbled a lot I can’t say
Keys of wisdom I surrender
We can’t be put asunder
	Teacher – pupil
	Your words I fulfill
	I can now feel
	A gap I can’t fill!

Zorora murugare, Lala ngokuthula!

Premium Member For Whom the Bell Tolls

The cadence of the knell on the wind Lord
Has folk peering from windows and doors
A reminder of fickle mortality
Peals forlornly, for whom the bell tolls

The screams of the Angels, are deafening
Those with the conscience to hear
Dark Winter, cuts colder than ice
Unfolding, the fear of all fears

Media controlled information
Has us fighting brother to brother
As the puppeteers pull on our heartstrings
An Orwellian surrogate mother

Totalitarian terror prevails
An Agenda to meet, time is flying
Denver Airports Time-capsule, historic
Egomaniacs prayers to the dying

Positions of power are key
Those appointed are elitely chosen
Merchants of Venice they’d shame
Like iniquitous embryos, frozen

World Health Organization, instruction
To quell conscientious objectors
Mouth the words of the purse-handlers credo
The beneficiaries, monied investors

The greatest good for the greatest of numbers
Bantham cries, from the crest of his pew
Utilitarian logic prevails
Though, decisions are made by the few

Get in line, live your days in your cells
As we gather the troops to protect you
Martial Law looms, incessantly closer
For your safety we’ll need to inject you

The corruptive, are those with the power
Wielding deaths sword, resolutely
Political towers of Babel
Where power corrupts absolutely

In a World of pandemic paranhoia
The essential works, deemed to be crucial
Are the implementation of towers
Beaming Signals of Sorrow, so brutal

A virus is only a name, you see
It was never a death causal factor
Electromagnetic technology
Is the key to the virul reactor

Big Brothers got one million eyes
And a chip, for to go where e’er you go
No crock of gold’s waiting out there
Hid beneath, ‘An Invisible Rainbow’

Friendship

It all depends on ones heart
How one perceives the other
As a friend or a trend
But may last for a moment
Friends are like beneficiaries
Like nitrogen atoms
Their bonds lack van der waals
Friends are like oathing guys
Trying to restore when apart
But who tries to think who a friend is?
Who trusts,the friend loves back?
Who can assure that friendship can last?
It is always untold, undecided
A depends on trust
A friend,one i can trust,
But only make after much secret interview
A friend, to understand my status and being,
But are always breakdowns in life
Never to go go long
Dumping a friend ain't my wonder
Holding grudges is what i can't
Speaking out to let known
Hatred is never an eruption in life
Neither an ocean trench blocking my dream
But yours,so strong
Your bond of love is unbreakable
Your binding heart is worth mine
Coz you have conquered it girl
Over and over, i'll live to restore it

5 Billion Poor

5 BILLION POOR
5 BILLION POOR FORSOOTH DEMAND,
EQUALITY THROUGHOUT THE LAND,
MORE THAN A MILLION DOLLARS IN THE BANK IS GREED,
MORALITY GETS EVERYONE A FEED,
LETS VOTE ON THIS REFERENDUM,
MORAL QUESTION OF THE DEED,
LETS SHARE ALL OF PIGGIES GREED,
LEAVE IT A MILLION, ONE,
ALL EQUAL UNDER THE SOD,
GREEDY ONES ARE SELFISH CLODS,
LETS FIX THE PLANET, GIVE A NOD,
NO POINT ACCEPTING GREED,
5 BILLION WANT THIS, GOD....
YES INDEED. Don
Minority groups control the world?
Why should we the multi-dudes, of multitudes,
of more than 5 billion VOTERS put up with the greedy rich,
we don't have to, we have Facebook :}
to vote Nasty, rob your neighbour GREED out.

Are we mentally, morally, strong enough?
We must Do it, but Keep the old system running everywhere !
But, no one individual, to earn more than a million dollars US!
Moral redirection of the wealth of greed to worthy beneficiaries ,
eg: FAIR paid for work in the 3rd world no longer 3rd world nations! Every family to eventually have voter access to Facebook to vote on every important outcome on the planet...
Great living conditions for every person on the planet!
All great causes to be voted for on Facebook, majority rules!
Without Opression no need for people to leave their Homeland.
Except when on visiting during holidays:}
When the opressed Minorities have equality, and are treated fairly,
when all are content, Utopia is here...

We are such weak brained wonders,
that we allow psychologists to alter the world?
why would you go away from a brutal system that works?
to a pathetic system that doesn't work,
humans are sometimes like ANIMALS who need discipline,
without discipline there is no control,
where there is no respect there is anarchy,
 YES morality is long dead,
We need to go back to a system that worked.

And If It All Should End In Flame

This dream was not mine from the beginning,
For others wiser, reasoning, adept
Dared move beyond their allotted space
To question why injustice continue
On a-pace, simply because it has been
Accepted fait accompli far too long.
"We stole nothing; beneficiaries
In passivity is not criminal."
Power acquired at victim's expense
Is not readily surrender'd without
More than an equally compelling force.
Wrong be made right by those willing to fight,
Not with aggression -- conscience appeal
If flame ends all, was TRUTH the worthy cause?

Irony

IRONY

My joy that I wasn't born a Nigerian
Is that my parents are Yorubas
I would have been limited to Naira

Mo dúpé pé mo lókó nílé (All thanks, I have a hoe)
Mo láyò pé omo alápatà sá lèmi(I rejoice, I am the butcher's offspring)

Nigerians should say alhamduliLhai
That our legislators are not as corrupt as our president
The country would have met with a great recession

E wá womo alápatà bó ti n jàsán (behold, a butcher's meal begging for a piece of meat)
Eni tó lókó nílé tó tún fowó ó kómí kiri(and a shovel merchant handpicking wastes)

Nigeria is blessed
With green pastures
And various rich liquids

Láyé Olúgbón, mo dá borùn méje(in the reign of Olugbon I owned seven different brocades)
Láyé Arèsà, mo dá borùn méfà (in the reign of Areas I owned six different brocades)

Nigerians are blessed
With great leaders
And various 'politricks'

Láyé Olósèlú mo ra àrán, mo ra sányán baba aso( in the reign of politicians, I owned linen and silk)
Ení pé ilè yìí o dùn ení kó wá bòmíràn lo(who dare thus pasture is not green should please make an exit)

The rich no longer cry
They are the beneficiaries
Of the poorman's labour

Sisésisé wà lóòrùn tó n làágùn (the labourer are dripping with sweat)
Jeséjesé wà làbétè tó n jè 'gbádùn(the beneficiaries enjoy the clubs)

Oh God of creation
Guide our leaders right
Perhaps, to spend our labour well

Bámúbámú mo yo x2(My hunger is satisfied to the fullest)
Èmi ò mò pébi n pomo enì kankan(I doubt if there is any languishing in hunger)
...

Whenever I see a Nigerian
I see along the irony of a country
Where hunger is an offspring of plenty

Nìnú òpò ará ìlú n jòwón(despite the riches, inflation is at its peak)
Nínú oyé, èése táráyé tún n sunkún oru?( and though its winter, the masses sweat is still profuse)

I hope to change the condition
I wish I could turn this irony around
And make a great change of situations

Sùgbón níbo laó ti bèèrè?(But where hence do we start?)
Tani ká kókó gbá lówó mún gan an?(who should be our first suspect?)
Sájépo lájà ni àbí eni tó báa gbà á sílè? (The looters or their abets?)

Where from should one start
Rewriting the story of this country?

Àbí e ò rórò bí? (Can you see?)
Òrò n bá rò ma ròfó, èfó n bá rò ma mún jèko (that this issue begets another)
Irony nlá leyii je, it is a big kàyééfì (this is a big kayeefi, irony nla leyii je)

Give a Thought For the Future

A rational person must have thoughts about now; and the FUTURE
The holy book says he must live his life as if tomorrow is RAPTURE
This is the minimum expectation that GOD has for any CREATURE
Relationships that are without any value; he must try to RUPTURE
His conduct must be exemplary; just like linen with fine TEXTURE
He must stand out with his integrity; and not go with the MIXTURE

Authority on Earth is usually announced by the presence of a MACE
Though we know that those in authority are beneficiaries of GRACE
Football leaders are not appointed just because one scored a BRACE
Neither is anyone made team captain because a shoe, you can LACE
You will see passion and dedication; if leaders’ story you can TRACE
Those who will rule the future must run life’s race at a faster PACE

To have a better future, we must make investments in the PRESENT
We must be sensitive; when opportunities come, never be ABSENT
When proponents of progress approach us; we give our CONSENT
We remain vocal against laziness and notoriety; show our DISSENT
If you want a better future: Then, a change of attitude, you ASSENT
Necessity usually leads to invention; thus, travails may be GOD-SENT

Jesus, Ever the Light

Jesus,
Eternal Son of our days,
it is You who lights our way on our sojourn here.
Ever the Light,
Your Presence shines outward from our lives,
brightening those areas of our influence about us.
And all of this only possible because of You,
Eternal Son of our days.
You who are constantly and unwaveringly ever present with us;
Your Spirit ever desiring to empower us
with the Presence of His Companionship-
We need only acknowledge this to be full beneficiaries
of all He would give us ultimately to advance
Your Father’s Kingdom.

Premium Member We Are Accidents

Today, I was missed by a bullet
fired by a sniper in Syria,
a runaway train 10,000 miles from it,
and every swing of the
Grim Reaper’s scythe in between.
A repeat of so many days
of good coincidences.

Life is but an accident of time and geography,
we the beneficiaries of a random amnesty.

Tomorrow, I shall rise
and raise song unto the vaulting blue
for my privilege of sun.

Premium Member If Ever I Had a Country : Xxvii and Xxviii

IF ever I had a country : XXVII - XXVIII

                                  XXVII

IF ever I had a country
And if ever I were but the Registrar of Companies
I'd appoint Snoopy - pet-dog Bo's first cousin - Inspector General of Secret Societies
I'll tell him to overlook the fiddling of Stock Exchange equities and concentrate on fan-club iniquities
To publish lists every morning on each member's earnings pilferings including health reports on their starving unemployment-pay beneficiaries
On who pays for the face paint jerseys mass-migration air-tickets five-star hotel and beer and block-seating fees
That is, if ever I were but the unpaid Registrar of Companies
And even if I never ever had no country company

                                 XXVIII

IF ever I had a country
And if ever I were but the Inspector General of Secret Societies
I'd post packs of howling hound dogs to announce at portals of lodges drug-cartel penthouse mansions and haute-cuisine fan-club eateries
Whose chauffeur-driven sleek limousine dropped off which hired diamond tiara damsel from what political parties
Question the secret expense-accounts of fan-club funding at football stadiums' madly-howling jamborees
And assess the damage to the GDP despite hipes in taxes imposed by police clashes with fans after crushing defeats at shoot-out penalties
That is, if ever I were but the Inspector General of Secret Societies
And even if I never ever had no country or society

Premium Member The Best of the Night To You, Too, Bala - Part One

Part One

                  for E. Balasubramaniam
                                      (June 13, 1935 - August 7, 1993)

So you took the covert road of the night
                                            and stalked me
while I listened to Vivaldi up to midnight
At two when you were ready to go
you woke me stunned stark in your memory
    your impishly entrancing laughter
your dark bright pupils beaming through the slits of your tightly drawn lids
your ivory teeth basking in uncontrollable mirth
your blacker than black ear-antennae and higher than high civil-servant brows
          marking your dark-diamond worth
     your patience
your more than necessary feeling for the less than fortunate friends and relatives
stretched cummerbund tight round your caring nature

How you knew how to share your luck
Always a little put out for your beneficiaries' putout-ness
Worrying speechless night after night lest your luck run out
                                         teeth in protesting grind
against the risks of your calculated outstepping

Paths led up straight
for one whose smiles funnelled from the heart
lit in ever-foraging circles of fire

There was no obstacle to the summit
        for you took with grace
only what you knew how to spare
with care

Young Women of Niger Decided To Die In Battles Like Worriors

The truth is : world system is totally wrong,
It is not wrong to criticize it daily.
Only few beneficiaries can think otherwise
whenever some victims speak the truths.
Quote by poet.

young women of Niger accepted to die like warriors
in the battles , their decisions astonished many people
who don't really understand their sorrows.
They had been kidnapped and raped by terrorists
for  decades now they decided to be with the men
on the front battles than continue to die like cowards.
They gave green light to the decisions of some puppet leaders of Ecowas who want to kill them for the interests of some colonists.
many people ignore the coups of France
in some African countries which continue
 causing miseries to some Africans.
If eighty percent of national reserve of Niger must be
in France,  how does it  benefit people of Niger?
Is this not a financial coup?
Why France remained in charge of the Niger Army
from independence day till today?
If that is not a coup of France,  how can a  president
lead  his country when military orders
are coming from France? can you call that democracy?
How do you feel when you hear about a country
with much uranium but it  has ten percent of electricity?
sometimes some folks must be reasonable.
Why the world rejecting people of Niger who have rights and supporting  French government which is totally  wrong?
French citizens must open their eyes
as early as possible to join the people with rights
and reject their criminal government.
There are prophecies about the  collapse
 of the European economy,
 hard life in Europe,
increasing of prices of many things  six times...so on.
As God said it
 through his prophets
So no one can change that.
It is better to join the people with rights
To be right too.

Word For Today: Patent

WORD FOR TODAY: PATENT

Ideas and inventions have commercial value if packaged as a PATENT
The document legally prevents any unauthorized use of the CONTENT
Many inventors have been plagiarized because the attack was LATENT
Pirates usually have subtle ways of stealing ideas; they hide the INTENT
Harsh reality is these beneficiaries of others’ sweat are INCOMPETENT
Registering trademarks, ideas and inventions make them quite POTENT

Premium Member In Praise of Barge Workers

Wind sweeps down the side of the mountain
Crosses tracks and flings itself across the river,
First slapping against the sides of the tugboats
Causing the deckhands to shiver and curse
As they check the lashing between the barges,
Several days before they reach the sun
And longer still before arriving at the delta,
In the meantime, they work as fast as they can
with pea coats fastened against oncoming blasts
Of bitter chill, and careful avoiding icy patches
On the walkways of the behemoths they tame
Young men romanticize working on the river,
Unaware of the dangers, seems an easy job.
They do not know of bodies mangled, crushed
Chain unhitched, a single misstep, a sudden jerk
When least expected, pay beneficiaries for a life.
