Premium Member When Deception Reigns

I searched for the answer
to a question I dared to ask
wondering why people hide
behind so many masks.
The query was this:
"What's happened to integrity
when honesty is replaced
with deceit and insincerity?"

I had several insightful answers
but was left in grim despair
when i realized that so few noticed,
or perhaps they just didn't care.
It's indicative of the times
in which the world now exists;
one in which deception reigns
with belligerence and raised fists.

Alive

And we are left here
Like maggots—dirty, parentless…devastated
Always feeding on the gruel…the cruel
Fattening our lives in the moneyless bilk
Shocking like a bee sting, yet soft as silk
We are the forgotten
I am watching the others grow rotten
But I am cleansed and raw with glee
Because…though blinded with slime…I SEE…
I rise to the sound of the agonizing screams
Of rapes, murders, of violent fists…weeping minds
My definition of true finds…
I smile when any possible hope arrives
Fate laughs, knowing I constantly scream inside
I am amused of it all…I can’t stop laughing
As bitter tears began to fall

I HATE ALL OF YOU…
I WANT TO KILL YOU ALL…

But I love that I can take anything
From the nothing we have all been labeled
The sick, the low…the mentally unstable
Watch me roll up in a ball
A naughty tease to death’s lull
I love your silence…
I love your intense fall
And we are more alive than any of you
We are crazed by your belligerence
Aching to be emotionless

SHARE YOUR INDIFFERENCE
SHARE IT…

Give us something to be left with
So the others can die
As Fate veers its head looking in the mirror
Listen to her laughter—do you hear her?
She watches and waits
To find her maggots have grown wings…
Screw your selfish indifference...we fall to fly
We are more alive than any of you
Though quickly we die

Premium Member The Eclipse of Sanity

Howling winds flung me into the sea
waves lashed kelp ropes around me
my belligerence grew when I was seized
anger brewed the tighter they squeezed

With fists raised and teeth clenched
I resisted the harder they wrenched
voice rang out in acrimonious scream
my face contorted, wild eyes agleam
spittle dribbled from cracked lips
I neared the verge of sanity's eclipse

Man is but an elfin grain of sand
a mortal never has the upper hand
when wrangling with a sea of thunder
I was punished and plowed asunder
beneath coral reefs to ocean's floor
I cursed until I could no more

My swearing wails echoed my destiny
retched was my body from an angry sea
briny foam spit me on the rocky shore
done with me like an oft beaten whore
My crime was that I'd chosen wrong
the one I loved became my swan song

Piercing needles of torrential rain
burning injections increased the pain
Such bitter tea the cruel sea can steep
and I, a crumpet, tossed in restless sleep

Premium Member Backscattering Redemption

Reflecting in my minds defining silence;
It's amazing how loud it can be without violence;
There are so many clever agents; sentient's within
Conducting their works; influencing original sin
Isolating thoughts with precise belligerence
Stifling consciousness; destroying all innocence
Un; and conscious thoughts confound
Is this a nightmare; so profound?
When this internalized backscattering redemption for my soul begins;
I'm more than just a little bit curious; about how to make a true amends;
These angelic thoughts; I feel the halo slipping down to this tightening noose;
The alarm clock tones; a dream lost; I come around, still deeply a recluse

Meadowlark's Shadows

Mesmerized clarity
builds to crescendo
never more hollow than these

Colors the forefront
blanket expressions
narrowly missing disease

Outlying chambers
kaleidoscope distance
maneuvering playfully lost

The bearded man crumbles
along the great coast
nascency carelessly tossed

One can but ponder
diligent details
tragic circumference of light

The searing is scored
malevolent mischief
never abandoning flight

Belligerence echoes
along the dark pathway
silently centering in

The mindless enigma
deception of thunder
the meadowlark's shadows begin

Premium Member Nonviolence

No need for violence or aggression
A passive acceptance of oppression
A powerful tool for social protest
To be peaceful and not violence many will resist
It presumes the intent of social change
Some believe not using belligerence is insane
Nonviolence is a synonym for pacifism
When you hear this word, you associate it with Civil Rights and racism
Nonviolence is not inaction it is the patience to win
You gain a lot of support, love, respect, and friends
See many people do not like change
So many have used diverse methods in their peaceful campaigns
Dr. Martin Luther King seen peace and equality to all races in his dream
Mahatma Gandhi helped India win its independence through bigotry that was extreme
I think that we should inevitably re-shape the social order in a lack of prejudice form
If we constantly use peace, we can weather many of these racial motivated storms
To listen to another's point of view is largely dependent on reciprocity
Not injustice, hate, and apathy
That is what makes me so angry
Remember what Jesus’ says, "love thine enemy”

"Nonviolence means avoiding not only external physical violence but also internal violence of
spirit. You not only refuse to shoot a man, but you refuse to hate him."
Martin Luther King

Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they
are capable of being.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

An eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind.
Mahatma Mohandas K. Gandhi

Dystopia

another day gone by
another thirty dead
until we rue the day
"what's exactly wrong with your head?"
please just psychoanalyze
till someone else is gone again

another one in purgatory

another scream to murmur
another fifty murdered
until we can somehow figure
what kind of bliss comes from this
our lives will be spent in belligerence
to the point we're making wagers in

any other lie in this reach for utopia

when do the screams stop
when do we stop dreaming?
i walk right into reality
sit in a seat to the corner
pull up a magazine
read somewhere between the lines
just another thirty dead
what's so wrong with us
what's so wrong with life
why would you want to take it?
why would you ever want to give the cynics any more reasons?

just another day in dystopia
i guess

Angry Words

Anger is an explosive expression
Belligerence is not an excuse
Careless thoughts of idiom
Does not reason words of abuse

Why use it as a crutch?

At the Door of a Friend

With footfalls heavy to this door
Where I would see my friend no more
What comfort could I hope for me
Now you’re gone to destiny

No more welcome of the hand
Just empty space, a rift in sand
And no more face with smile of glee
That heralds informality

Where will I go to search my soul
Who will help me reach my goal
Who will stab my selfishness
Put my mind at ease, at rest

Call me up with sports results
Suffer my insane insults
Mark me as a friend indeed
Be there, in my time of need

Your light was always on for me
The truth I now stand here and see
Those times of sheer belligerence
Those wasted hours in ignorance

The fallouts that we often had
Those times that always felt so bad
Were only testing of our strength
To know what friendship really meant

Opens the door, she passes note
I read the words therein you wrote
That scribble, that once so annoyed
Is more welcome and enjoyed

I smile and read how this is neat
As all my words above repeat
And more to know when I am gone
To look and find, that light still on

What a Friend Really Is.

My Country, Truly Free

Oh, give me a home where everyone is free to roam,
sharing hugs and kisses with family and friends
Where there's nothing to fear 'neath the capitol dome
And my combatant countrymen have made amends

I want incivility to stop, ending the bitter hostility
Brother vs brother, hating each other with animosity
It's a misnomer to call ourselves "The United States"
when any topic discussed turns into chaotic debates

I desire a state of well-being; a country free of ill-health
Life is more important, compared to any material wealth
When did belligerence become accepted by so many?
What happened to smiles we wore? I no longer see any

If it were possible, I would paint everyone in a sepia hue
No blacks or whites; color would no longer have value
Medicine would not come with side effects that could kill
America would be great again because of man's goodwill

Freedom would belong to each man, woman, and child
We would respect nature and protect animals in the wild
Americans would live together in harmony; honor bound
Proud of our homeland, and once again world renowned

I long to see the U. S. have representatives who care
about our beautiful country, and keep oaths they swear
I want Old Glory to fly high, not used in domestic battle
dishonored by rioters, stampeding like a herd of cattle

Arguing over who's at fault has only brought us shame
What good are words and fingers pointing out the blame
I'm ready to move on and it's my hope that you are, too
Americans, remember what John Kennedy asked of you

Woman

Day by day we pray to stay alive, ladies, the face of this world is slowly changing, no longer do we need to hold our heads in disgrace, and it’s about time we take our place. No longer let us be connived, nor let us forget the silent cries in trees that our sista’s souls are still hangin’, see the true in others denies rather waistin’ yourself complaining. Nor keep us from strength to stand by man, strength to leave if struck by hand, no more bruises upon our face for we also help to make this race. No more scars upon our souls for only marked with beauty moles and let our stories be fortold for we are women who behold, a key to inspiration and moral pride, coming out of our hide, Gods rules are to which one should only apply, but most chose pain to keep inside, left alone and died. Your elimination of God’s creation, we are but faith to this nation. Men of ignorance we are sick of belligerence, cuz we prove intelligence, cuz where there’s no woman there is no man strong and on this land we belong as distinct and separate persons walk along. Before your ignorance get the respect that you so vainly seek, practice what you claim til' all things you do or speak shall in reality be the same, nor let us be so eased to blame and give us our well earned past due fame, all musical and sorrowful stories contained. My people, make me proud to know your name and I’ll return the favour by doing the same.
For all men whom think us fast, remember the good ones always finish last, we women are still raped future and past so personally you can kiss my ... In us your babies wombs all your life fluids we consume, to mothers growing up too soon, to those mommas babies and daddy’s maybes.....REMEMBER, when your round to actin' shady, we are the ladies of this land, women with pride we stand, I am a WOMAN and for equal respect, I would do it again!!!

Bomber Command

BOMBER COMMAND

It won’t happen to me
he said,
we’re Bomber Command.

It won’t happen to me
he said.
We must blow the enemy out of the sky
he said.
we’re Bomber Command

The pride and belligerence of the Reich
it’s Hitler’s war on Europe
and it’s my sixteenth sortie out tonight,
he said
we’re Bomber Command

Somewhere in the Rhineland
his body lies
He gave his life for his country
but he gave mine too
in Bomber Command.

A Typical Whitehouse Resident

I was a Valkyrie on your side,
Till you showed your true colors-
you had done nothing but lied-
A typical White house resident,
Just another screwed up president

American's die for your belligerence
Under pretend ideologies and wars-
Under your uncaring indifference...
only thing that matters is Phallic
differences- look in the mirror
and pull up your drawers

Laws have to be passed, while people
go hungry, losing their jobs, dying
and you're the one's making all the money.
Playing with and talking about MY fate,
over 500 dollars worth of clams on a plate,
some caviar and 1800's champagne.

Trillions of dollars towards wars
and yet, no one scores.
Well, except the "enemy"
who kill our best friends and family.
all over some damn crude, or terrorism
Or WMD that never even existed.

Yes, our world leaders all suck,
it's has been a very long time
since We The People have had any luck.
There was once a decent man
long ago, named Abraham Lincoln...
but even he, did not hold the key.

Strike ye Heralded Harvard pricks out
For there is not a single doubt
that we peasants can do without
another worthless, idiot, lying "devout".

Difficult Simplicity

Simplicity in a solution,
                                         the answer to everyones prayers.
                                            Mind clouded noise pollution,
our garbage dump of human despair.

Difficulty with all of lifes indifference,
                                           an emergency broadcasted test.
                                        Visualizing pathological belligerence,
                                           intoxicated on this sober quest.

                                         Degree of difficulty a premonition,
80 grit sandpaper likes it rough.
The ignorance in all the indecision,
the Idiot says enough is enough!!!
