Best Apostle Paul Poems
According to the precepts of God's awesome plan,
Marriage defined is one woman for one man.
Perhaps they have no child; perhaps two, maybe three,
Yet God calls their union by name,"Family."
When you add in aunts, uncles, and cousins,
And various other relatives by the dozens,
They are all connected like branches of a tree,
You have a unique extended family.
Down on the corner each Sunday morning,
Another group is slowly forming,
Gathering at the church with the white steeple,
You will find the family of God's people.
In the Bible book of Ephesians, chapter number three,
The apostle Paul describes a great mystery.
Which previously had been concealed,
But which, in due time, the Holy Spirit revealed.
That the Gentiles should become the fellow heirs,
Of the marvelous promise the Jews had shared,
Two great peoples, united as one,
Through Christ Jesus, a new family was begun.
God's family is open to everyone,
Who receives and acknowledges what Jesus has done.
He died in the place of each sinner on Earth'
And we enter His family through a new birth.

We who remember outhouses
consider flushing toilets
the next thing to heaven.
Yet, we know, in heaven—
no need to search—
they do not exist.
The Apostle Paul said,
“We shall not all sleep,
but we shall all be changed.”
No freckles,
no cowlick,
no twisted bones,
no missing members,
no lack of understanding.
Questions will all be answered.
As we enter that pearl-encrusted gate,
as we gaze through those transparent
golden streets, never again
will there be a need to flush.
For to me to live is Christ
here the apostle Paul speaks in faith
showing who he believes upon
this true confession he indeed saith
What does this mean for you?
where is Christ in your life?
give the highest place to the Lord
where God cuts through His knife
Hold not to the pleasures of life
for it can't satisfy your inner being
the spirit within seeks to fill
revealing the Lord in full agreeing
Keep close to the Lord God
live for Him before all else
knowing death will be such gain
receiving heavens done so well!
" For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
Philippians 1: 21 (esv)
Just returned from week on Malta
a lovely island with lots of sun
situated just south of Italy
so full of history and loads of fun
Many interesting places to visit
the capital Valletta's great place
something to interest everybody
much to do where folks pure ace
Sliema is also worth a visit
walk along prom has much to see
over to the island of Goza
take the ferry across nearby sea
Go to see where apostle Paul landed
shipwrecked there named St Paul's bay
also see Popeye's village nearby
where movie filmed down that way
My base was up north at Mellieha
very quiet but loads of steps to climb
so a lovely week enjoyed very much
hope visit again some day another time
[Chorus]
Blowing on dandelion seeds
God's Word flowing forth
Broken hearts in need
Needing to know their worth
To the Great I Am, to the Father of Lights
You are loved and wanted, and
precious in His sight
There is nothing you have done,
Nothing you could do
That He won't forgive
If you ask Him to
[Verse]
I was a murderer, and I committed adultery
I only wanted to fulfill my own desires
Then the Holy Spirit fell upon me
With Gods Holy… “get right” fire
And showed me who I really was
Not just a shepherd, and not just a king
I am just David, who God loves
[Chorus]
Blowing on dandelion seeds
God's Word flowing forth
Broken hearts in need
Needing to know their worth
To the Great I Am, to the Father of Lights
You are loved and wanted, and
precious in His sight
There is nothing you have done,
Nothing you could do
That He won't forgive
If you ask Him to
[Verse]
I was a great enemy, of all who called on Christ
I killed and thrilled at my power
And laughed at their sacrifice
Then suddenly a light shone round about
Come on church! Get up and shout!
Jesus forgives, he paid it all! Just ask the apostle Paul.
[Chorus]
Blowing on dandelion seeds
God's Word flowing forth
Broken hearts in need
Needing to know their worth
To the Great I Am, to the Father of Lights
You are loved and wanted, and
precious in His sight
There is nothing you have done,
Nothing you could do
That He won't forgive
If you ask Him to
[Tag]
Seventy times seven! So forgives our Lord
Redeeming his children, That's what Jesus died for
righteous no not one
Praise God he sees me through His son
[Tag]
God will forgive you, if you just ask Him to
oh oh oh
There was a man from Tarsus
whose name was Saul
who did all he could
to make Christians to fall
But one day he took a trip
to Damascus was his aim
but God met him on the road
and his life was never the same
On that conversion road
his eyes became blind
till God’s light shined
to bring him a enlightened mind
From that day forth
he was known as Paul
for he took God’s truth
all over to one and all
Much suffering he received
persecution, strife and near death
for the sake of the gospel
he sought to speak its vital breath
Much time he spent in prison
but God used his time for good
Paul there did write many letters
for the churches spiritual food
This man thus became known
as Paul the godly apostle
one who met the risen Christ
his life was indeed colossal
Paul’s legacy was his writings
which we still have today
to disciple, instruct and teach us
so we know how to obey
His life came to a tragic end
in AD60 when in Rome
Nero sentenced the apostle to his death
in doing so Paul came eternally home
What a story his life was
as God made him his own
releasing him from satin’s grip
the purpose to make Christ known

Perspectives and points of view....
The Apostle Paul once said that if one were to look upon himself as merely that of
Flesh and Blood then, they would be greatly mistaken amid their near and far Perceptions
This battle within ones own Sightful volitions?!
For though We walk in the flesh as such, We do not war amongst these matters of futility....
Yet, rather, Our weapons are mighty unto the pulling down of Strongholds by, "Grace," given ~
And although We may tarry in this body of woe; cast unto this place and earth; Times
We are not of this world; wherein such Profound absolute "Truth," shall soon be Revealed!?
Unveilings within, the Wonderous twinkling of an eye....
No, We shall forever walk boldly Adorned in these Bejeweled Vestures; awaiting
Faiths chalice of "Loves Promises" thus, Poured; benighted, Spirits of Righteousness
"Holy;" as then We rise from the Ashes of memory, to take hold of Immortalities
Quintessence of Perfection; Infallibly made to slay the dragons of past....
Nailed to a "Crucifix" of, Everlasting Born?!
Still, for now within part, let Us groan aside most all of "Creation," as, We hold fast unto
The "Omnipotent Caressing Hands" of; Our Destinies ~
Painted upon the Emancipating Canvas' afore ever there were but even, "One Star"....
Before the Chambers and the Beams; the Oceans, the Mountains, and, the "Dreams"
Far, far away and Beyond, the ebbs of a flowings, Once upon a time!?
Standing at the Throne; "He," They and I; "Alpha and Omegas," Crowns of "Light" ~
Hearts of Cardinal Colours; swords no more; Eternities Heirs at, "Neverendings, Door"....

...."The Prince of Tides"
The prince of Persia comes with temptations
as attractive as a filled shopping mall
but such a gift is very small
when compared to what is at stake
when we heed unto Jesus' call.
The race is never dull
and you'll never be alone
in an empty hall
so stand tall
like the Apostle Paul.
The threat from any obstacle or wall
Our Maker will make void and null.
Surrender to the Saviour
give him your all
you may seldom fall
but rise up and continue moving
like a rolling ball
on its way to the goal post
Don't give up like Saul
just because adversities
make the race as bitter as gall.
strive to get there
cos at the end, the winner takes all
ON THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS
By Roy Merritt
(A Humorous take on the life of the Apostle Paul)
I was on the road to Damascus to give them Christians hell
I was on the road to Damascus and never had I failed
I was on the road to Damascus when suddenly struck blind
I was on my way to Damascus I had Jesus on my mind
And then there before me was Jesus Christ Himself
Whom they say was with God and in Heaven there He dwelt
And he asked why I persecuted Him didn’t the Romans do enough
Why I made life hard for Christians on them so tough
I told Him I was a Jew Yahweh was my Lord
And following you Jesus Christ I surely can’t afford
I’ll tell you why you should Saul that too I’ll tell
If you don’t follow me in death awaits you hell
Well that was enough for me and on I went to the city
Still blind and full of fear and much was the pity
So I went to see Ananias who sprinkled water o’er my head
And then I was with the Christians and did was Jesus said
I was full of grief and shame for what I’d done to Stephen
And Jesus said to me relax now I say we’re even
So He sent me on to Antioch with Barnabas by my side
And on to Asia Minor and there we did reside
I wrote a letter to the Galatians recounted why I came
And all that I had done and cast away my shame
And I blinded Elymas the Magician whose words sore disputed
What we said to others our teachings he refuted
The distant toll of the temple bells
As clock strikes, thou tread upon the sacred temple
Lifting up hands with the Holy Assembly
“Father I thank you am not a sinner like her
I fast and pray like the Apostle Paul
And I pray in tongues more than all”
“ba ba la ba ta la la la
ba ba ka ba la ta ya
mana talla ta ta ya”
Empty babblings! Meaningless verbosities!
Why all these pretensions and ostentatious prayers friend?
Why can’t all these noise and hypocrisy end?
One who drinks iniquity like water
A noisy gong scooped of all her fruits
Never able to shod thy feet with the ‘Golden boots’
You seem to please the demons, hear their unceasing echoes
You clanging cymbal! You noisy gong!!
You clanging cymbal! You noisy gong!!
I rather you plea for mercy
And pray thy demons away
Before they prey thee away
These spiritual gymnastics can be deceiving
You clanging cymbal! You noisy gong!
For thou knoweth not the Masters ‘Love Song’
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. [1Corinthians 13:1-ESV]
"Hope that is seen is not hope, for when a man sees a thing does he hope for it?
Apostle Paul Romans8:24
When you receive the thing you hoped for,
should you keep waiting, hoping?
I hope not!
When there is no more pain,
there is no more hope,
when a pain free world is the reality
So...give me please a world with no hope.
When there is no more war,
there is no more hope,
for peace is reality,
So...give me please a world with no hope.
When there is no more hatred,
there is no more hope,
because love is the reality,
So...give me please a world with no hope.
When there is no more poverty,
there is no more hope,
satisfaction is the reality,
So...give me please a world with no hope.
Can you imagine a world,
where we don't just hope for peace,
love, the end of pain and suffering,
the end of war, but it is the reality?
That's what it means to live in a world with no hope!
Will you be there? Can you see it with the eyes of faith?
I hope so!

A place saints gather to give thanks and praise to Jehovah
Where we all look unto our maker for answers to life challenges
We gather corporately on Sundays to honour the Sabbath day
Do you frown at sinners in the assembly?
Don’t you know Jesus never casts anyone away?
For it was because of sinners He came on a journey to the earth
Reconciling us back to the father of all Spirits
The perfect Love that casts out all fear
What sin are you involved in or have you committed?
Has sin or guilt kept you away from God?
Think again and don’t let the devil steal from you twice
God hates the sin but not the sinner
Jesus waits for you patiently
Preparing a huge banquet for you
Like the prodigal son
His mercies are forever new every morning
Again I ask what is the sin or guilt that keeps you away from God
Jehovah’s love for us is unimaginable
For his Love covers multitude of sins
Confess them: Repent of them
Remember He casts them into the sea of forgetfulness
Hear me! You who have categorized yourself as one that does not merit Gods love
Even I myself doesn’t merit Gods love
Are we not all sinners?
I might have even been a chief sinner just like Apostle Paul
Who persecuted Christians thinking it was the work of God
The Lord is inviting you today; back to His house
Back to the assembly of His saints
Waste no more time my friend
Weep if you have to, pray if you have to, but after you are done
Step out with a Jesus swag
Swaging right back into the ever opened arms of Jesus
Our Loving and merciful father. Heaven awaits you

My Walks!
Steve L. Siegel
July, 2015
~+~
My walks with the Lord have not been easy ones
Nor has it always been straight ones
I like most men I’m born a sinner
But, I have the saving grace that is in Jesus!
*
Why if you look back at my past
You will see where I have gone astray
Much like the Apostle Paul
We both are saved through Jesus’ grace.
*
Jesus had planted in each of us, the seeds of mercy
That lives in every-one of us, all we have to do is ask
And it will be given to each of us in His name
Then paradise will be ours.
*
There is only the new law of Jesus for us
He is leading way for us to the Father!
For on the cross he died for all our sins
So that we all might live in Him.
*
Oh, the freedom from sin, how sweet it is
For he said “For if you see me, you see the father”
What a pathway, he has lead us to
When we leave this life and see the Lord, Jesus Christ.
On The Road To Damascus Part Two
By Roy Merritt
(A humorous take on the life of the Apostle Paul)
That was my first journey on my second Peter became a friend
And with him I debated the Gentiles and foreskin
He said they had to cut it because the Jews they surely do
And I asked him why they should if none of them a Jew
Jesus is for one and all and that means everyone
He sits on God’s right hand side and He God’s only son
And so we left in disagreement we left there in time
Me disappointed in Peter who with Gentiles wouldn’t dine
I went where I may then and those who me heard
I converted all for my Jesus as I spread the word
I was even shipwrecked on Malta but little did I care
As long as I had an audience and with them the word to share
I even went to Spain and Britain along my wandering way
That’s why I write in English that’s all I’ve got to say
A plot then sent me to Caesarea two years I was in the pen
Two years in this prison for they wish to do me in
And I eventually petitioned Rome for Roman that I be
I appealed to mighty Caesar and petitioned to be free
And that’s where I wound up that’s where I did go
And lost my head to Caesar because he hated Christians so
And yet my letters to the Christians to those I’d set free
Did the most of any and all to spread Christianity
Pope Clement called me the Herald the Herald of the west
And of all in the Gospel I spread the Gospel best
And so now I room with Jesus, Jesus Christ he’s my mate
Because of all that I did spreading the Christian faith
And to this day I’m celebrated the most significant of overall
I was once Saul of Tarsus but now they call me Paul
My Pathway to Glory!
Steve L. Siegel
July 4, 2015
~*~
My pathway to glory has been a long road
Has not been always a straight one
For I’m a sinner and there are times
That Jesus has to take me by the hand.
*
That is why if you look back on my footprints
You’ll see sometimes only one set in the drifting sands.
Because you see I am a lot like the Apostle Paul
I’m still a sinner, I know through Jesus’ grace I am saved.
*
Those tracks remind me that He’s the pathway into salvation
He is the straight one, He told us that He died for all our sins
So that we might live in Him
Not like the drifting sand that doesn’t stay in any one place.
*
Our walk ends at that same cross that took his
Through that same straight and narrow road
Then we get to meet Jesus, as He leads the way
On the pathway to glory, and his Father. Amen
