You asked me the other day, my friend,
who I am and I replied:
I am you in another body!
Yes, it is true,
Look, how much the same we are,
No matter what, the color
The creed
The race
The status

Look,
I am born and I die
I suffer and I enjoy
I love and I hate, just
Like you!

I am a father, a brother, a son,
A mother, a sister, a daughter, just
Like you,

Happiness I seek,
Family to raise is my wish,
Peace to find I look for,
Just like you

I yearn
I abhor

I fear
I hope

I bleed
I heal,
Just like you,

I believe
I doubt

I accept
I refuse

I laugh
I cry,
just like you

We are alike
We are the same
We are brothers...

Children of a unique father.

Tell me,
My brother,
My friend,
My ally,
Why do we have to oppose,
To fight
To hurt
To destroy and
To eliminate
One another?

Are our seas really that narrow,
Our oceans that small,
Our lands so limited
To contain all of us?

Or

Is it the case that
Our hearts are not big enough
And our minds not so wide-open to
Enfold all mankind?

Listen to me, my other self:
It is up to us to change this world
We have inherited, with its virtues and vices,
History and culture
Flaws and merits
And
Try to make it
Better
Nobler
Kinder and more caring
By obliterating harmful beliefs,
Demolishing injurious divisions,
Destroying detrimental distrust,
Annihilating racism and eradicating
The erroneous feeling of poisonous superiority
For
To bring the dawn of a new loving world,
A world of acceptance
Of respect
Of justice
Of equality
Of love and
Of universal brotherhood

So as

With peace in our hearts, liberated we would be
From the past’s deleterious tribulations
That for myriads of years,
Have kept us, fighting one another!

Words of Mass Destruction

Words of Mass Destruction

Words like bullets do not have eyes, as they fly in our hearts and materialize
Deleterious breaths that we soon despise, words written in stone we idealize

Warring weaponed words that paralyze, wounding wandering words terrorize
Torpedo texts thrown to criticize, paranoid punitive parasites will pulverize

Like the Atom bomb, words are strong only use them wisely where they belong
Some create a lullaby or sweet a song, while others use them to do their wrong

Words of deception create no affection only intervene with the inflating infection
Annihilating in their corrupt convention, wary words that bring rigorous rejection

Of the negative neurotic neglect, wording witches and warlocks of their architect
Dehumanized discord of disconnect, vengeful letters lashing will always resurrect

Words can frighten as well as enlighten, some will delight in words that tighten
Words of corruption bring self-destruction, a raging ruction of a serpent seduction.

At the edge of town stood, a government research centre
It was heavily guarded, no unauthorised persons could enter
The authorities put down rumours, saying its just a research station
But word got out they were trying, to open an other dimension.

One night a massive blast took off the research station roof
If anyone doubted the rumours, here now was the proof
The gates of hell opened, with the sound of blood curdling screams
And out poured tall green creatures, only found in hellish dreams.

They were humanoid winged reptilians with eyes a blood red
The townspeople heard the blast, many of them were in bed
All the streetlights went out and the sky turned pitch black
Under the cover of darkness the creatures launched an attack.

They entered every house and mutilated everyone inside
There was pools of blood everywhere; hundreds had died
The police and army arrived and fired shell after shell
But they too were slaughtered by these demons from hell.

They kept coming out of the portal and went from town to town
They were annihilating mankind and they weren't slowing down
By the next day they'd invaded, across the world every land
No weapons could stop them, they had the upper hand

World leaders held an urgent meeting and agreed a strategy
But that strategy would mean, the end of humanity
The plan was to launch nuclear missiles, it was the only way
If mankind couldn't rule the earth then neither would they.

The countdown time was agreed and it was announced worldwide
Everyone told to stay at home, with your loved ones by your side
People were crying, religious leaders urged people to pray
Ten minutes later earth was vaporised on mankind's darkest day.

Rife are grievous echoes lamenting worldwide
From widespread disgust clamoring weary sigh,
Perturbed in lonesomeness, bawling in dark,
Clasped beneath shroud of tenebrous clouds,
Rendering world aghast in grip of distraught.

Battlefield is raging, tearing apart humanity,
Women and children are dying of atrocities
From bombs and missiles fired indiscriminately
Destroying buildings, annihilating normalcy,
As lives scatter, fleeing death and uncertainty.

Fueled by anger, pent-up distress is brewing,
Helplessness is stirring, caught in pandemic,
Lives once dynamic are static, unengaging;
Minds are bewildered, hearts are agitating,
Feelings, once solemn, have now turned eerie.

Oceans are heating, hurricanes are churning,
The Alps are melting, yet the rivers are drying,
Cities are flooding, neighborhoods are drowning,
In uncontrolled infernos forests are burning,
Unfathomable climate is plaguing farm yields.

Gales stirring extremes roil storms of suffering,
Lava churning desperation is boiling, bubbling,
Ready to erupt violently spewing angst volcanic,
Challenging fate openly, tired of venting silently,
Foretelling of warning: a blow-up is simmering.

Hades Siren

Belladonnic poison seeps from your eyes,
like an electric serum of Venusian alchemy,
one that paralyzes my sense of pride.

                            My mind oscillating,
                                     alternating,
                                       your gaze,
                                     annihilating.
                                     An infusion,
Uranium radiating me into half life,
as I look up small to thee.

How can you be my painkiller,
                               stretching rack,
                                       healer,
                       and a killer clown surgeon
with a knack for stealing autonomy?

Your touch burns with the fires of Purgatory,
a solar cycle casting elemental ghouls,
in a rogues gallery of impish valkyrie.
             Propheting in New Moon phases
of alignment's interferon mightocon cell mining,
beaming morse code anecdotally-
You dress me in the dark's fairie mood ring-collar- manacle- you cause me to wear in my captivity.

Endangered in the midst of your wilds,
from your strange type of phi
that echoes from the voids-
enchantress- third eye.
I flop like a fresh caught fish
in your net of silk, patterned telepathy.

You are a siren, a villain- bewitching
the stormy seas- to shipwreck adventurous souls
and harbor them on your oasiatic Isle, Circe?

So why do I feel saved, even in your captivity.
Turn me into a fattened pig, then,
do as you will,
but be the truffle of my descent
as I forage for delicacy.

Word Quintet in C Major

By Stark Hunter

Open the door my friend,
Climb on in,
Join me here in this relentless caravan,
This unstoppable, this incontrovertible,
this inexorable movement,
To the depths of the dry gulf.
Join me here my friend,
In this annihilating armada,
This incontrovertible migration,
This inexorable swarm
To the watery crossroads of the dry places,
To the liquid asphalt of insipid time!

I stare at you from across the room here.
I stare and gawk and hawk at you,
And I feel the pelting rain of desire.
You look good over there, sitting
With beautiful gleaming crossed legs.
“Sorry, beg your pardon,
I say, but have we not met before?
Did we not share beers on the Terrace of Tyre
At sunset?
Did we not tell each other stories,
Old stories of love and betrayal and heartbreak?
At sunset?
Did we not look away from each other,
When stories of new love suddenly emerged,
As with a new sunrise?”

My friend, there is no
Escape from this throbbing hole, no
Escape from this cold numbing wind,
This whirlingly insane wind
Of cold blasts of killing ice.
And I ride here
Ride like a sweating Sultan,
Astride the mighty beast of Tyre!
Perched high in rich raiment,
I wave to the multitudes
I send a salute to the throng!

I ride shotgun here
Ride nice and easy
Like a tanning garçon on his off day,
Like a sitting trog waiting wistfully,
Waiting waiting for gams not intended for him.
My friend, the world turns and turns,
It turns today and tomorrow,
It will turn as the river turns in spring,
It will turn as a woman’s heart turns,
When eyes that once stared ahead, now look away.
It will turn my friends because it has to!

Riding, Riding, Riding….
Downhill now! The insane wind
Assaults me. Harasses me. Accosts me.
It presses its loose lips upon my face,
It seeks the mad blood of passion!
“Let us calm ourselves
Reassure ourselves
That all is right and as planned.
Let us all look at one another!
Let us all nod in agreement!
The days ahead will manifest themselves,
Transfigure themselves,
As blooms upon the water lilies.

Thinking About Angels

Here I am thinking
about angels, guardians
in the sky.

Funny thing: grief.
Well maybe ‘funny’
is the wrong word.

 ‘Volcanic’
‘Annihilating’
‘Illusionary’

‘Pulverizing’
‘Instantaneous’
‘Gasping’

‘Forever’ is
the kicker.

Here I am thinking
about angels, guardians
in the sky.

The mistral cold wind blew incessantly wild,
Winding in the streets, its glacial currents in and around
The apartment blocks where all frosted windows
Were tightly secure. Still the bleak wintry chill entered
From tiny ruptured chinks and spread inside
Annihilating the miserly heat emitted
By old cranky air conditioners and gas heaters.
Occasional bursts of strong wind blew
Some soft snow up like winnowed chaff.
One hopes the homeless found some place to rest.

Premium Member The Scream - Ekphrasis On An Edvard Munch Piece of Art

Oblong outlines of a soul
Stretched in elliptical misery
Redefines the perfect circle
To a breakable volatile tautness

Loosely cloaked in sheaths of epitonic blue
Draped upon the shrinking body to hide a terrified world
Dressed in swirling ominous patterns of anonymity
To be lost within the deepest abyss of fatal fear

Planted like a tenuous girder of iron truth
On a bridge of no return
There is no departure from excruciating fear
From this wicked self-imposed poltergeist

An unseen force deliberates death
Smothering with tremulous trepidation
Annihilating the essence of existence
With no bond found on common ground

There lies the secret
Within the mystery of a soul’s distress
The exorcism of human strength
As fear brings the will of life to a standstill

The Howling Dog

I just can't think,
Or write,
Or eat,
Or sleep.

No longer fight,
To breathe,
Or cry,
And weep.

All that I own,
Believe in,
Worked for,
Has died.

Annihilating,
My morals,
Trust,
And faith inside.

This has very little to do with cost,
A couple of dollars is the least I've lost,
Their piggy banks haven't been bust,
What hurts me more is a loss of trust,
By those who'd rather believe.

I've become a completely empty shell,
Soul been dragged through the depths of hell,
Burning up with fear and pain inside,
With the blackest hound at my side,
Howling to let him back in.

Premium Member One Wild Flower

A wild flower, grew up through
a crack in the pavement, I wondered,
why already not trampled
by so many preoccupied feet?

Sat I down on a
park-bench, further pondering this yellow
charmer, to which I cordially gave greet --

“little tenant,” oh just missed another!

Thinking I saw it, knowingly parry aside;

(one wild flower, persistent, determined
not its beauty to hide.)

Unaware came a team of training joggers,
in colorful, striped briefs; legs and tennis shoes
thoughtlessly-trouncing-everywhere –

Feared I this brave little trooper had finally been
dealt its fatal wild share -- the wind of the runners' healthful,
self-indulgent passing, seemed more a cyclone of careless,
petulant stomping – no sense a little blossom would
they spare!

Deeply rooted in soil, it could not retreat, without vocal
cords it could not plead a shriek – could not shield itself
from such crushing, annihilating defeat.

Sat there I a sad bit longer -- would not dare open my eyes, felt
a tear slipping, my heart seeming knee-deep in morbid dripping.
Smeared blossom, and grieving sunbeams, saw I like a funeral's
dark-arm-band – a segment of my bright world, had just tragically
ended...gone with the lone blossom's, last futile, floral stand –

till a child opened my eyes, making me take peak,

a sweet little voice, not the least tinge bleak, as they carefully parted: “Oh
mother, isn’t that dandelion so dashingly chic!?

A realm of echoes, as olden and topical cascade
Lacking them tears my heart in the palmy shade
The wind howls, annihilating both virtue and vice
Whisking away remnants of love's dulcet spice
My vision and voice are hindered by the haze
I shirk all I've loved and split, with a tearful gaze.

Peace

As I sit and marvel at God’s creation, I can’t help but to wonder what awesome
power has created such tranquil surroundings. The mighty oaks with flush greenery, the
gentle, rolling hills of “The Great Smoky Mountains” and the sound of rushing water from a
nearby creek. Living in such ideal conditions, the thought of chaos and violence is
inconceivable. Yet, a closer glance at the place in which we call home suggest something
entirely different. The violent mysteries that are created by nature itself are infamously
spectacular. Looking even closer, it seems that the wrath of God has been unleashed upon
His very own. The very thought of devastating ruin creep into the foremost part of my mind.
The universe in which we live seems to be even more wretched than our immediate
surroundings. Our vast and infinite universe is quite capable of annihilating our humble
home. The wonders of God’s very own creation has left even the most intellectual beings
from the past and present dumbfounded. Yet, God Almighty is the one in which we seek our
refuge. Looking into the book that shows the blueprint of our very existence and the order in
which we should live; the Bible lists peace as an absolute prerequisite for eternal salvation.
God sent His only Son, Jesus, not to destroy, but to build a relationship between He and thee
to establish peace in a seemingly cruel and violent environment. Follow the ultimate example
of peace, Jesus, and only then will you find a truly tranquil and sublime place among such
turmoil and devastating ruin.

Battlefield Tribulations

Come on brain
Lets do this *****
Conjure these flows
So I can to spit
Not no dumb dumb
Something they can feel me with
Something hard never soft
Something tight
Right from the top
Come on come on
Yep
Entire nations
Move to motivation
And to battle stations
Thus
In hopes of annihilating the competition
With extreme precision
Visions of battlefield tribulations
Proceeded by extinction
Of entire nations
Readily available are these citations
And accusations in quotation
It is written
Proceed with caution
This is an extreme soul snatchin'
Operation
By the best in enemy infiltration
Leaves souls wasted
At the gates of hell
Is were I wrote this
And the deepest of holes in Facebook
Is were I'll post it
And show off my skill as a venomous poet
