A kind word, of course,
Can soothe the flustered soul or bring a smile
To a frowning face. That’s a given, but
In one’s troubled times, words still are
Only words.
Naked they become, for we see right through them when
Sincerity is misspoken and devoid of thoughtful deed.

Simple gestures are more meaningful than pretty words.
Persuasive poets perhaps pen verses to their beloved
Elegant and extravagant like pearls. Empty all the same
Are artful words given in pretense or with thought of recompense.
Kindness for me is found in action!

Lovers - real and honest lovers - are
Obliging, and they are more than kind!
Unabashedly they step in to defend those whom they hold dear.
During good times and bad, they will be there,
Enduring every hardship by their lover’s side,
Relinquishing their own needs for the needs of their adored.

Thank God if such a man or woman
Has ever graced your life.
Actions of their ardor
Never should be taken for granted.

Words can be loud with promises,
Overflowing also with
Romance! But only a fool would
Deny that one's exhibition of love is
So much the sweeter!

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Actions versus words
Actions speak louder
Louder is figurative
Louder is expressive
Figurative language is effective
Figurative does not truly speak
Effective is deeply important
Effective is walking the talk
Important lessons must be demonstrated
Important lessons show you don’t tell you
Demonstrated lessons are shown like an exhibit
Demonstrated lessons than may be emulated
Exhibits can be observed
Exhibits are seen not heard
Observed actions are watched
Observed actions trump words
Watched love is full of verbs
Watched love shows it is an action word
Verbs are action words
Verbs help one’s mind create mental pictures
Words alone are soon forgotten
Words are remembered when taught with an action
Mental pictures formed in one’s brain
Mental pictures are recalled simpler than jargon
Brain stores memories
Brain loses words
Memories are potent tools
Memories recall meaning
Tools seen in use is vital
Tools talked about remain idle
Vital is performance
Vital is activity
Performance is an execution
Performance is a rendition
Execution creates stimuli
Execution shows not tells
Stimuli create neuron connections
Stimuli causes better recall
Connections boost like a catalyst
Connections fuel memory
Catalyst spark visuals
Catalyst evoke images
Visual aids are useful to teachers
Visual images are appealingly vivid
Teachers must display good character
Teachers may not just define it
Character is taught by example
Character in not lexically learned
Example set is learned in action ~
Example cannot be set with words

One grows fond of all the involvement one has with society

To what end do we extend those words of forgiveness said so easily

You spend all those days and weekends

With those they say they are your friends

Those that say they will watch your back to the end

Then that day comes, and they pretend

They don’t know you; … those friends

Are not no more, they offend

 They will hurt you and stir your anger

They say absence makes the heart grow founder

Is not always the answer

People inspire you, or they drain you and make you bitter

Reality is… we were friends for never

I can’t take this no more, so I’ll kiss them good-bye forever

They were not worth my time and worry so I’ll arrange to stay away

Stay away

        Stay away

                Forever

I don’t need you as friends if you can’t take me as I am and

Have my back at the end

A quiet teenager named Tina
Had bullies use words to demean her
But my memory lingers
cos she stuck up two fingers
then pushed them into the marina!

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Hello Everyone! It's been a long time but I'm back. This is a song I wrote based off a text message hope you enjoy it:)

I don't know where to start
All I know is you tore me apart
But that's ok, I'll live another day
Where to begin?
All I know is this has to end
No more fear, but before I go
Let me make one thing clear...

I don't hate you
I hate all the things you put me through
It seems no matter how much good I do
You just go and stab me in the back
But you no, I love you to death
I think my actions are the opposite of hate don't you?
After all actions speak louder than words

I hope you understand
I'm letting go of your hand
No more pulling me down
I'll just leave without a sound
No longer your prey
But before I leave I have one thing to say...

I don't hate you
I hate all the things you put me through
It seems no matter how much good I do
You just go and stab me in the back
But you no, I love you to death
I think my actions are the opposite of hate don't you?
After all actions speak louder than words

Is it getting through your head?
What we had is now dead
Time to lay it to rest
In it's bed, but before I leave
I have one thing to say
As the last tear is shed...

I don't hate you
I hate all the things you put me through
It seems no matter how much good I do
You just go and stab me in the back
But you no, I love you to death
I think my actions are the opposite of hate don't you?
After all actions speak louder than words

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

quintella (Spanish quintain) in pentameter

Hard-working spider, you do your part,
instinctive busy spider that thou art.
You speak without doubt as you weave your web.
It is we humankind that tend to ebb
and surge, trying to balance mind and heart.

One day man, I'm down, oh my restless soul.
On rising up, how can I dare extol
a friend or employer on a mere whim;
then the very next day dishonor him
by rank conduct that is out of control?

Consistency is a course of action,
a gift that structures one’s reputation.
It is ripe fruit of making wise choices;
it is prudent forethought which rejoices
beyond just making a good impression.

Yes, speak if you wish of what you believe;
AND watch what you do, lest you should deceive
by your performance that which you profess.
Would spiders agree - caprice creates stress?
A web of whimsy is not worth the weave.

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

In the blink of an eye and remorse far away
Your wavering heart blistered away my loving years

Your verbal pleasantries seem to mock
Your artful facade with a serpentine sting

In the beatific moments your need was me
We spent lucid loving hours spent at comfortable ease

New beginnings became easy with me to shield
You climbed my inherited ladders in splendid guise

I spruced the hearth and kept it warm with crystalline cheer
Your eyes, I fear, I couldn't fathom as I tucked our babes to bed

Now you fumble with your deceitful heart to temper me
When unchartered hours were gambled away with a seductive lass

Trust exploded in my rose quartz heart
When I saw you two cooing by mere accident

Your pitched frequency of dilly dallying
No more resonates with my simplicity

Our winsome fairy tale has ended
And your wilful satiric tale has begun

The charisma of ethereal love is poised on
Drooling actions and not on banal promises

Actions please us deeper than just words-
though teasers talk up promises so made
with words that sound like songs of pretty birds;
the music's sweet, but sours when pledges fade.

Words flow smoothly, soothing heart and mind
with hopeful thoughts that all too soon escape.
These words that tease are truly not inclined
to fill those hopes that never will take shape.

Actions do please deeper- words just tease
to simply stoke a fire that's never lit.
Just empty words for vows that float away-
from shallow talkers who will not commit.

So disappointed when words stand alone-
that only tease with promises not met-
to then accept the letdown we bemoan
by sham neglect- the sad result we get.

Note:
The origin of this phrase in its earliest known
appearance (with the exact wording it has today)
is in a work called the Melancholy State of Province,
1736: “Actions speak louder than words and are
more to be regarded.”
However, the idea of this phrase goes back even
further. For example, Michel de Montaigne, who
lived during the 1500s, expressed the following
in one of the essays he wrote:
“Saying is a different thing from doing.”

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Angry shouts echo off of plaster walls,
Painting them sickening shades of despair.
She tries to block the noise out;
But nobody seems to care.
The words aren’t meant for her ears,
She is not the one who the barbs are meant to sting,
But with their searing heat and deadly edge,
Her wounded-animal soul begins to sing.
A song of loss,
A song of mourning.
A song of pain,
A song of scorning.
She can’t fight the pain.
It’s much too real.
She just needs something;
Something to heal.
To heal the pain
And heal the hurt
And to bury a hatchet in the fresh-tilled dirt.
A knife in her hands;
A heart in her throat.
A lighthouse blinking out;
She can’t stay afloat.
The pain feels good;
The wounds are what heal her.
The knife’s deadly call;
Its revelry reels her.
She finally feels something;
Something more than pain.
She’s finally gotten something;
Something she thought she would never gain.
She’s got healing,
And she’s got closure.
But her sins are dangerous;
She can’t risk exposure.
So she slips into silence,
Never uttering a word.
She’s too far gone;
The lines are blurred.
Her mind is a frosted glass,
Her mind is her playground.
Her wrist is a canvas;
Her soul has drowned.
A paintbrush is in her hands,
Gleaming in the secret moonlight.
She’s given up;
It feels so good to lose the fight.
Her skin is the stone;
Her knife is the chisel.
She feels so strong…
She feels so brittle.
Their voices are in her head;
She carries their hearts in her hand.
She is dry-eyed now;
It is only OR - no and.
The blade touches her skin;
Their screams reach her ears.
If actions speak louder than words,
How come nobody hears?

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

If actions speak louder than words
Then why are words defined
When to be defined gives precise meaning
Meanings found within dictionary lines
Yet words are projected though voice
Spoken actions of the lips
Or are they truly equal
As they are kinship

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Symbols cluster to form your speech
As sprinkled emotions find their seat
Like echoes ricochet off hallowed halls
Resonate an evidence of a tangible fall

Oh mighty words
How you long to portray
Apologies and promises
Which deeds should convey

Ten in the bush or one in the hand
Shall proof lessen my faith
Does the hourglass lie by its last speck of sand
Or shade make a sundial fake

Eloquent phrases doth not expectations meet
Validation must have its day
A narrative cannot express silences feat
For its stone which endures not clay

Grant me the man
Who's actions speak louder than words
With him through Hell's fire I shall stand
And love him without end undeterred

Love is a verb, has action you should know
Actions speaks louder than words
You may say your gonna do something
But you're still sitting in your reclinner
Actions speaks louder than words
That pot you've got on the stove will burn
Actions speaks louder than words
On the football field the coach calls the plays
But actions speaks louder than words
I'm a sinner, saved by grace I've repented
But actions speaks louder than words
You said "I do" as well as "I love you"...
But actions speak louder than words
You say you can, as well as you can't...
But actions speaks louder than words
To build a brick house you need workers, mortar, brick and stone
Alas, actions speaks louder than words
Your driving you run a stop sign, get pulled over by a policeman
But actions speak louder than words
You brag and boast that you can cook, yet you can't even boil water
You stand in front of the stove and you don't even know
How to turn the eye on
Actions speaks louder than words
Now you may read these lines, comment and say their find
Your actions speaks louder than words

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

I've seen the wind oh, how it moves;
The tornado storms  tempest roar;
Temperature broils we want it cool;
Sea waters rise above the shores;

       you choose actions speak louder than words

Standing on shaken grounds;
Major cities burning down;
I see smoke forest and grasses burning now so bright;
Sun shining in the night, image nothing now is right;

       we choose actions they speak louder than words

Seeing these things transpire;
Volcanic  ashes burning mankind;
Destruction of earth meteor showers;
All's left is amber ash and slime;

Though these things tumble and turn;
Nature actions speak louder than words;

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Everything you said never meant a thing
You only told me things i wanted to hear
My heart is now broken in a sling
And everything about you now becomes clear

You used to make me laugh
But now are the reason for every tear i shed
Now looking at your photograph
My heart feels like it is hanging by a thread

You never hold my hand
Nor look me in the eye
Now i feel as if I'm in quicksand
I think it's time to say goodbye

You say you love me but is that true
Do you dare tell me the truth
Looking at you now you start to look blue
Why did you have to waste my youth

Actions speak louder than words
Show me how you care
My heart is now in thirds
So goodbye my dear

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Don't tell me you love me
I've heard it before
The words have no meaning
I need to have more
Don't tell me you need me
That might not be true
For words without substance
Mean less than they do

Actions speak louder than words
I know what you're saying
But, I haven't heard
You have to show more
In a physical way
You've got to show actions
If you want me to stay

If I hear "I'm sorry" again
I will show you the door dear
"I'm sorry" is empty, vacant, a veldt
It's not what I need, It's what you think I should hear
Show me some actions
Back up what you say
After all, words mean nothing
They're just the script for this play

Show me you love me
Don't just say "I do"
I want you to mean it
Show me something new
The words have no feeling
The emotion is gone
It's like you're reading the lyrics
To a music-less song

Actions speak louder than words
I can hear what you're saying
But, with no meaning it hurts
I need reinforcement, it's simple you see
Because Actions speak louder than words
So show me you love me
Don't tell me again
Your words have a hollow, dead sound
So show me with actions, that I am the one
If you want to keep me around
