21st Century Indian

It's ok that I'm Native American:
If I am attractive and half naked,
If I am uneducated,
If I speak in broken English,
And sing Christian songs.

It's ok that I'm Native American:
If I am passive and subdued,
If I smile all the time,
If I fit the stereotype,
And am not opinionated.

It's ok that I'm Native American:
If I suffer memory loss,
Don't want to know my peoples' history,
Remain idle and submissive,
And can forgive genocide.

It's ok that I'm Native American:
The kind that was in old movies,
Who said how and heap big time,
Make a mockery of tradition,
Sell out to avoid confrontation.

It's ok that I'm Native American:
If I accept my lot in life,
Stay where I'm told to stay,
Sit down and shut my mouth,
And allow others to think I am inferior.

That is what they tell me,
Before they turn and walk away.
When my existence is their shame,
They refuse to listen and then they say:
"It's ok that you're an Indian".

Premium Member 21st Century Re-Write of Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty fell off the top of the wall
He got on the phone and gave his lawyer a call
With help from the lawyer and litigation men
Humpty is rich and won’t have to work again!

A 21st Century Poet

No longer submerged in seduction of a lover's tongue
left hanging out where no word is sung
defunct of function or fancy form
lost are the layers gradually getting you warm

Here and now before thoughts do pass
free flowing spewing out too fast
rhythm and rhyme left to chance
sterile simplicity caught in a trance

In a world caught up in instant gratification
what is the satisfaction
if feelings don't play a part
in your poetic art

A 21st century poet I heard him say
unrefined rhetoric put on display

Dazzling Lady of the 21st Century

Enthusiasm, the planet occupied.
As Sapiens lives in rage
Strives to come after
But all in sleeveless

Hence, in the land of the living,
Arouse a living Queen,
Waved by nature,
Tormented by hindrances,
And tempted by viles.

She stays through the storm,
Fight for her triumph,
And not easily bothered,
By countless thought of others.
Hmm! What a courageous Xena.

A pretty creature,
Creature, loved by the creator,
Endowed with courage,
Bestowed with beauty,
And blessed philosophically.

Every problem has it's own time and expiry date,
For, fear kills faster than the problem itself.
Putting *****Sapiens at Tjunction.
But, she never does. Moremi of our century.

You are a blessing in disguise,
And motivation to others.
Engrossing lady of the 21st century.
Let your courage shine through,
As your eyes speaks of your true beauty.

Fear In the 21st Century

We have made our God eternal,
World without end; Amen.
Whose emissary waits forever,
On the other side of the door.
Moses, Mohammad, Buddha, Christ Jesus,
Pull a Clinton and define eternal.
The most frightening eternal spectre known,
Heaven Bless the poor who attract his attention
The auditor of the IRS....He waits for you.
Forever.

The 21st Century's Murder and Massacre

Ongoing the 21st century's free style massacre
The horrible morning has started there in Myanmar,
Satan is tormented by theses and has come down
To learn the massacring styles in special gown,
But no one has yet directly protested the bestiality
So the massacrers gigantically speed up in cruelty;

So long the morning! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
The massacrers are devouring the breakfast for long
With soft bloody flesh and red soup again and again
And preserving the rest for the future want in time;

I don't know when and where will be the noon?
And then when and where will be the evening?
And then when and where will be the cursed night?
For the final maelstrom and the devastating fight
Or shall the morning cover the whole day only?
And then when will a morning start peacefully?

Once Jessica Lynch of states army division
The sweet young soldier girl of twenty one
Served in Iraq invasion
Never fired her weapon
Honored first prisoner of war woman.

Wounded with bullets and in tension
The doctors paid her full attention
Knife wounds bullet none
Only some bones broken
Fake “rescue” shown on television.

It was nothing but fake history fabrication
Baking jingoistic cake for nation
Bogus syndication
War myth definition
Jessica, a puppet propagation.

Teenage Love 2: Teenage Lovers of the 1980s, 1990s, and the 21st Century

All of the then-teenage lovebirds have been in love with each other since the day disco
died, even back in 1980. This type of love has been around the teenagers-turned-adults
since the day the cell phone was invented, MTV first went on cable TV, the Berlin Wall was
destroyed, the summer Olympics were in Los Angeles, California, Barcelona, Spain, Atlanta,
Georgia, Sydney, Australia, Athens Greece, Beijing, China, and the 1980-2008 Presidential
elections. It seems to everyone that when the adults (a man and a woman) who were
teenagers (a teen boy and a teen girl) fell in love with each other since the day they
met at summer camp, it was love at first sight for them. And the parents back in the
1980s, the 90s, and the 21st century found out that their then-teenage offspring fell in
love with each other, their moms and dads either accepted it or rejected it. But either
way, these two lovebirds back in the day would've wanted to stay together for a long time.
Everybody remembers that back in the 1980s, the 90s, and the 21st century, these young
lovebirds have gone to the movies, gone to concerts, out to eat, and that kinda stuff. It
looks like Cupid has made some direct hits back in the 1980s to the 21st century. It also
looks like love has taken over the lives of all of the then-teens. And who knows? There's
going to be a next generation of young couples. And if this type of young love keeps up
bringing both would-be young lovebirds (a teen boy and a teen girl) together with the help
of fate, there's no telling what positive thing might happen next.

The Mayan Calendar, for all to see
the end of the World, That's when it will be,
Some people say, that God doesn't know
just where He should place His seat for the show,

Earthquakes and storms
every day now it seems,
disasters, disasters
to the doomsayer's gleams,

I dis-remember was it last year
a doomsayer down south,
filled his pockets with money
by running his mouth,

Y2k another prediction
where doom it was said,
Yet computers still functioned
and the World was not dead,

I won't make predictions
for the death of us all,
Might be the best that could happen
is if Wall Street did fall,

What will happen to man
will be seen in the end,
we've done it all to ourselves
that, we cannot defend,

God, gave us this Earth
to do with as we will,
all the damage we've done
and are doing it still,

Man,
the most intelligent mind,
with a heart and a soul
yet, we just cannot find,

And yet, it was written
on tablets of stone,
just how Man should live
It's always been known,

Intelligent minds
driven by lust and by greed,
cannot fathom, the simplest of things
one thing that we need,

To love one another
without malice or hate,
or when the end it does come
there will be no debate.

Dedicated to Man's inhumanity to Man !

Trappe within my skin,
trapped within my life.
I live each day within
the same parameters
of responsibility.
I do right
no matter what.

I've done wrong
believing it was right.
Such constrictions,
such borders,
leave me no outs,
no excuses.
I want to explode,
but suspect implosion
will be my lot.

Where do I get relief
within the boundaries
that I set?

Take a cleansing breath,
embrace the rules,
embrace the borders
do your dharma

21st Century Love

Ilianza na masalamu za hewani.
"Niaje".
Masmile za confusion,
Fusion ya lust na trust,
Compilation ngori ju huoni mahali mnafikishana
Mbio za ujana huishia kitandani,
Au kwa cell ndani.

Makosa ni kukosa kuona future
Kwa mkono nikatattoo hour glass,
So that every morning nikiamka kwa bed yake najua ni turn ya another lass.

Same script,same characters.
Vijana ni wale wale.
Pangoni ni pale pale.
Set huchange na weatherman.
Ndio hata socks huwa ni question ya aftermath.
Virusi ama shopping list ya mapampers
But
Bands still made her dance.
She discovered the secret to it all nikunyamaza and smile like Mona Lisa,
Kutumbukiza vidole kwa maji ya uhai
Ndio ata kesho ukimwai, asubuhi bado dignity na ngwai ziko mkononi mwake.

Sala na ibada ikawa ni lazima
Ju hujui next time inakupatia wapi...kwa mama Bima ama kwa kina nonini.
Ndio Nani...saa ngapi...
Masharti tuliwachia kina baba na mama,
Tukipatana just make sure tunaheshimiana
Maneno ya fanya hivi,usifanye...ni hadithi ya wahenga.
Hakuna love.
Love nikujilove.
Love nikuamini ukipata ball na Jina yako si MRS
We ni single mother.
Kuishi na yeye ni kalongo ya baba na mama,
Lazima brikicho itachezwa usiku.
Machozi ni ile ile, barabara iko vile vile umeitengeneza ju ulikubali kuketi kwa meza na kunegotiate love.
Hakuna tafauti na geneza,6 feet under
Mchanga ikiongezwa.

Usiulize kwa nini mashonga ni wengi
Na kila Dame ni lesbian,
Wamatha na vitambi wanateka maboy,
Masponsor ndio lingo ya wababa
Harusi na watoto kageuka biashara.

Ntaplay along
Na delusion ya Prince charming na white horse.
Lakini deep down,
Hakuna love.
