He's cheesy, conning, plain, and a freeloader
She's in her twenties and smart
Her friends ask why this old fart
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Collected all the links to my favorite kinds of wedding dress
overwhelmed by the possibilities I will not possess
this useless project has been amusing but brought so much stress
It's a silly exercise in fairytale daydreams I guess
since I'm not even aiming to form relationship success
were I really engaged I could say I've made lots of progress
With my obsessive-compulsive search of wedding clothes access
perhaps I can help engaged friends pick their style and say Yes--
--to the dress! The more modest it is, the more it will impress!
Framed art and photos on the Johnsons’ wall
depict the beauty of four generations~~
awards, graduations, baptisms, weddings,
holiday scenes, birthday celebrations. . . .
One needs no explanations for these.
The image of two lovely white swans stands out.
Their gracefully curved necks form a complete heart.
Why is this artwork there for all to see?
The golden wedding anniversary reception, planned by
the Johnsons’ grateful children, was unforgettable.
Dozens came with gifts and kind words that night.
The oldest son’s comments were short and sweet.
On behalf of the family, he poetically and movingly
described how those cuddling swans symbolized
their parents, whose deep commitment, based on love,
had sustained them and their family for half a century.
She spies dandelion tufts floating free
atop a summer breeze, spreading their seed.
And she whispers, "If only that were me,"
jittery feelings, longing to be freed.
She's supposed to be married in July,
and yet, she's not so sure she wants to be.
And dreams she's a cloud, drifting in the sky,
untethered from earthly reality.
She's seen dandelions age and turn white,
as time drains their yellow color away.
And it appears to happen overnight,
making her reflect on her wedding day.
But she soon puts aside such silly thoughts,
which tend to tie her stomach into knots.
A tall, handsome, young man from Rangoon,
With huge feet,shaped as two balloons.
Wailed ,”No girl will want me!”
A maid cried, ” I choose thee!”

So much in my head
My Words can’t express
I’m lost between my head and you
You make things in my head seem so true
Walking the streets with you
Toasting our glass of water making loving looks
Outside under a white tent
Maybe someday
It’ll be a toast with champagne on our wedding day
