More Than A Soft Toy

I'm still not clear on how you
came to me, but since
I can remember,
you've always been here.

My clothes were too big for you,
but you didn't care,
and even though you had no life,
I felt that when
I was with you, my soul vibrated.

With you, I escaped from my ordinary world
to live adventures in your extraordinary world.
With you, everything was different;
I didn't feel alone, and even though
you didn't say a word,
I could talk to you for hours.

There were countless nights
that I no longer spent in solitude,
and although I had no friends,
you counted for a thousand more.

The years went by, and I developed,
and my love for you evolved;
in any of my plans, you were
the first one I told,
and in my most disturbing nightmares,
you were the first who comforted me.

And before going to bed
I always looked for you Because
if one day you were missing
from my bed my soul
 in agony cried for you.

You are more than a doll,
you are my best friend,
 that guardian angel that
God sent me to be with me.

Beautiful Lady

What a beautiful lady standing in front of me,
I imagine what life would be.
Her beautiful smile, so big and so bright,
Makes me know that what I feel is right.

With every laugh and every tear,
Communication and understanding are clear.
All our fears seem to be put to rest,
Whenever she cuddles into my chest.

An everlasting friendship and love,
Makes me feel as if it was matched from above.
My feelings for her will never die,
Because I could never see myself saying goodbye.

Premium MemberA Perfect Moment, Created By Joe And Mystic

Never had I heard a flutter so clear!
nor more distinct than the settle of midnight wings;
                    Soft gray wings spreading, fanning
coming to gentle fold,
soon to follow, a nightingale's song,
                           lilting the air.
Such a blessed union is rare!
Light and dark shadows tranquilly sharing space
One perfect moment seemingly forgiving,
as gentle as the harmonious embrace,
                          of bird and sky !

Never have I felt so powerful against the night !
no more indefinite than a feather in the wind.
My heart beating slow as time
comes to a standstill before the soft caress
                     of a nightingale in flight!
Chiaroscuro moments on the soul
oh how I wish that I had wings
to fly and meet him in mid air....
never had I heard a flutter so clear nor a song
                         so very dear to me...

The End.

A creation by Joe and Mystic
I give thanks to the man who began this venture
and gave me a chance to fly with it lol

Beautiful Eyes

In the hush of dawn when the world is still,
Your eyes awaken the sky with a thrill.
Like twin galaxies lost in a lover's gaze,
They hold the stars in a smoky haze.

Not just mirrors, but portals to soul,
Where silence whispers and dreams unroll.
They speak the words your lips leave behind,
In languages only the heart can find.

In storm or sun, they never disguise
The truth that rests in your beautiful eyes.
Warm like twilight, sharp like flame—
Once they look, you're never the same.

They’ve seen the tears, the laughs, the lies,
But still shine pure—those beautiful eyes.
A thousand poems, a thousand tries,
Still can’t capture their soft sunrise.

So let me drown, no need to save—
In eyes that heal, in eyes that crave.
The world may blur, but I’ll memorize
The universe held in your beautiful eyes.

Plastic flowers on my head

You never bothered to inform
That flowers of life go on to decay
As time and the alike storm, sways away.

So I crafted my crown...

Exquisitely out of plastic flowers
And now I'll wear it through the years
Till the colours fade and the fabric tears.

Premium MemberAMERICA’S EYES

Beauty within the United States landscape
The aroma with the sense of Freedom
Major Cities with their multitudes
Towns with favor of friendship and welcome
Day and Night with a finished day accomplished
The vast farmlands of agriculture
Enriched heritage full of memory with elegant of golden
Every day observance
America amaze
Born and raised
Standing on solid ground
True America
True Patriot
America where I grew up
My head up and chest out
Full dignity and honor
Assurance on all sides
Reflect and sustain
We the People for the People
Forefather’s history
America’s story
The salute
Orchestra including a flute
Melody and tone streaming in the distance
The vision of Red, White and Blue shines
America’s all
We are America

MEETING YOU

When I meet you.
I found you odd.
You sparked my interest.
With your cute nods.
I tried to leave, but you pulled me back.
Making me feel such a spark.
The spark grows bigger with each passing day.
Sometimes the wind tried to blow it away.
Yet it grew to be as big as it is today.
Meeting you was as lovely as a summer day.
May heaven and earth bless us every day.

The Space You Leave

The Space You Leave

I have grown fond of the silence you left,
Not empty,
Just echoing Grace.
It wears your scent in quiet corners,
And breathes like you
In every space.

Your laugh still lingers in the air,
A melody the dusk replays,
Soft as secrets in the dark,
Bold as light
that never stays.

I don’t speak of missing you,
Not quite.
But if I did,
It would sound like this:
A pause,
A look,
A low half-smile,
A memory...
I wouldn’t dare dismiss.

Come back,
Even if it is just to tilt the room,
With nothing more
But your perfume.

Oh the space you leave

Love's Gentle Touch

A whisper soft, a tender glance,
Like sunlight through the morning’s dance.
Your laughter sings, so warm, so bright,
A beacon in my darkest night.

Hand in hand, our hearts align,
Two souls entwined, a love divine.
Through every storm, through joy and pain,
I’d choose you, love, again… again.

Premium MemberJust for the Lonely

Beautiful are folk with hearts of gold
Unsightly are those with hearts stone cold
Take some time to learn of someone's worth
You may get major surprise of earth
Women don’t need to be dressed in lace
A man doesn’t need a handsome face
Just to be a compassionate soul
A person who fits the friendship role
Would you befriend me, an aging droll?

It's Been a While

It's been a while
And the water seems murky
I'm the color of sadness
Since our friendship went quirky

Yet I paddle around
In fresh morning shallows
Where the water is clear
Where no breeze of regret blows

The renewal of birdsong
As the day begins slowly
It's a happiness tune
For the stubborn and lowly

So that beautiful place
Of knowing contentment
I frequently visit
Without fear or resentment

You brighten my mornings
Though unlikely you know it;
May your life bloom and flourish
As you nurture and grow it

May you heal where it's needed
May love find and console you
If it's helpful to know that
Someone's pushing that prayer through

MY GRATITUDE TOWARDS HIM FOR CHANGING ME BY HIS LOVE

You live in my heart,
Always and forever,
You have pierced it with your kindness’s arrows,
Where my mind is your dart.

You are in my mind,
I have never seen anyone so kind,
Your eyes have accepted me as its guest,
Now your home is to me- My cozy nest.

You may love the Rose,
But you cannot hide when I am to you-close,
If you were my life,
I would have given it your name- Even if I have to pierce my arrogance with a knife.

You have changed me,
You deserve the credit,
You taught how to live the life of a bird free,
With such a high yet humble spirit.

LOVING EACH OTHER FOREVER

You live in my heart,
Always and forever,
You have pierced it with your kindness’s arrows,
Where my mind is your dart.

You are in my mind,
I have never seen anyone so kind,
Your eyes have accepted me as its guest,
Now your home is to me- My cozy nest.

You may love the Rose,
But you cannot hide when I am to you-close,
If you were my life,
I would have given it your name- Even if I have to pierce my arrogance with a knife.

You have changed me,
You deserve the credit,
You taught how to live the life of a bird free,
With such a high yet humble spirit.

SHANTA

Shãnta

On th' night that I saw her...
Darkness had been shunned into day
She turn'd 'round eyes bright enlighten'd...
"Oh, my gosh...Randall, you're here! I can hardly believe it! How are you ol' friend n' HEY!"
Mine eyes started to drip, tears of joy view'ng her visage.
So aglow with Her'n smile n' as if she'd never known this world's marring...
No evidence of pain n' not one hint of it's cruel'st scarring.
She laughed so a'glee; "COME n' dance with me, ya' jerk!"...whilst taking my hand, as 'ven if I'd fool'd refused no...lol, 'twould not have worked!.
Holding me so close, I felt so loved n' adored, when all my pain vanquished n' then 'way we danced my heart soar'd!!
She then whisper'd mine ear; "You've much to do, so keep strong...and don't worry, luv'...then you'll be back here, where you belong."
Slight she pulled back, as The Heavens were her'n eyes...
An most sweet'st n' innocent kiss came to mine lips, as a cosmic swirl whisked mine soul 'way...
Oh, God Bless Your'n Gold'n Heart & 'Til We Meet 'Gain; "THANKS n' I LOVE YOU, SHÃNTA!"
