Audrey,s is a woman that gives me regret
She wants to own me but I am a man who will endeavour yet
She covers me with kisses and we only just really met
She wears clothes out of marks and spencers garbage bin no debt
She wants what she wants and together we do well to forget
She lives in a penthouse in blackpool over looking the beach to set
She is so special I wonder what Ivwould have done if we never did collect
She is the master of human emotion of which I do beset
She lives inside my mind almost every moment she knows me best as I kiss her she has to emotionally wet
She is my woman and I don,t care whether she uses me as her next pet.

I love my Audrey very much
She turns my world upside down
She spins a word like a magician
She counts the seconds until we meet
She knows what love is and what its for
She transcends the moon and stars until they unite all for the grace of God
She is my ying to my yang
She is a house full of jokers when all you need is aces
She is poetry complete wuth degrees in being cool with it
She wants what I want and that is world peace
She knows how to get it too and loves devided are not on the scale of her being
She was my heart break but now she is my heart take
She is wonderfull and I am merely a man
She is the guru while I am merely gurus child
She would win any competition of beauty but ghen sh,d hide and say its not fair
She will be my guiding light when darkness peers through my window
She is a norrowing of a door when I am merely the gap between darkness and light.
She is Audrey My one true love eternally forever until I die.

The moon hangs in the night sky
Like a beacon for a child at bedtime
There's time to have bedtime stories read to you
There's time to recite prayers to You
She wanted to be that music box ballerina
If only daddy could have seen ya
Pirouetting and forgetting in moments of.....
Frozen prances and unfurling action
In the store front window, blink and continue
There's no time to stand still
When Fred Astaire wants to dance
No time to check makeup
When Cary Grant wants romance
In a Holden crush, or Cooper embrace
That is where Audrey Hepburn stands
fresh faced like a sixteen-year-old debutante
Audrey Hepburn, brought My Fair Lady to life
I wanted her to marry Freddy
only disappointment of her work
not her fault
stupid writers
Moon river, I shall venture
on the fair sands of your shore.
May the lash of your nature
rope the heart that I adore.

Bitesize Poem No. 57 Poetry Contest (2nd place)

Not exactly an enterprising name
But we did however have
One unique claim to fame.
We accompanied Audrey Hepburn,
Famous Film Star, yes that’s the one
That elfin faced great actress
Now so very sadly gone,
The Six Five SpeciaL National Skiffle Contest
The only one there’s ever been
Heats at the Star Cinema Hornsea and
We were behind the Silver Screen
The film was War and Peace
Saturday afternoon Matinee showing
And our last rehearsal
Before the heats got going.
So, we accompanied Audrey Hepburn
But I don’t suppose she ever knew
About those four Yorkshire lads
Murdering Worried Man Blues
We came fifth out of four
But that was outdone by by far
By the fact that we’d in theory
Accompanied a Hollywood Star.
Two stars of a former age
they were a class of their own
superlatives cover them all over
bound for stardom before been known
Firstly a real lady of regal renown
Ms. Hepburn indeed Audrey by name
this lady was an actress so lovely
so attractive even before her true fame
'Breakfast in Tiffanys' and 'Funny Face'
fab movies along with 'Roman Holiday'
Belgium born in '29, passed away in '93
such a loss at 63, still with memories today
Now to make the perfect movie match
Sidney Poitier comes on the scene
one extraordinary human being indeed
and a mighty fine actor to have seen
So influential in so many movies
bringing hope to those of his colour
breaking the racial barriers of his day
such inspiration fully technicolor
'Guess who's coming to dinner'
the movie that brought SP fame
I love it, love to watch it again
renowned for making his name

Some thoughts on two of the finest movie stars and human beings who walked this earth, so just some thoughts on the highlights of their lives.)
Audrey Hepburn Cat with your 1960 ways,
You give me so many reasons to live these days.
I am anxious to see what next you will wear
Your wardrobe is so beyond compare!
You green-eyed beauty, you feminine feline you.
With your elongated cigarette holder, I dream of you.
If I could be half as sophisticated, I would die happy.
Your pearls are gorgeous; are they from your sugar pappy?
You with the elbow-length black silk gloves, yes, you.
The fancy butterfly decorated purse makes me kind of blue.
I could never hope to have your fashion pizzazz.
That pink rose on your hat gives you so much jazz!
Audrey Hepburn Cat, can I come and spend the day?
I want to get into your closet and play and play.
Your jewels are exquisite, your fashion sense complete.
You are such a diva, truly impossible to beat!
William, you may be too young to realize
that Audrey is a "Plane Jane", and certainly no prize.
Anyone saying she loves you would be feeding you lies.
There are many maidens more attractive to your eyes.
There is another admirer. You are not alone.
Audrey is already in love with the fool named Touchstone.
This guy may be comical, and act like a clown,
but he is strong enough to kick your butt out of town.
Being unsuccessful is considered by anyone a pity.
Just put her in the file cabinet marked "past history".

Do you know that I was so confused as a youth that I did not know I have light, brown eyes. I just assumed mine were black as the rest of my family's eyes. Only after I was married, my wife told me that my eyes were lighter than her's. This is probably one of the many weird things about some men, and ypu may want to share others ...
Now, real beauty:
"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."

What is it like to roam the city
When people are looking at you,
thinking;
'Isn't she so pretty?'
Well yes you are..
You're the prettiest soul in the world by far,but why are you so far?

What is it like being on your own?
I'm at home today writing this for you,
But I know you'll be just fine.
Give it all you've got..
Be at your best :')
Like I'm there to watch
But,what happened to us?
Cause how I've been missing you so much
And my care was never enough
But it's stronger now than it ever was
And I can promise you
That by the time you read this through
I would have tried to live my life and get somewhere without you,
But I'd rather go back to square one with you..
I hope you always find a reason to smile,
Even if that smile is no longer because of me,
I'm glad I meant something to you for a while
And I'm still writing to you,
Every single day when possible.

The water washes my sins so pure
And I sit here, my mind an open door
A person is no more than this
A mind in it's own abyss
Locked in a suit of bliss
When the water whisks
Hearts so full of hate
Will always debate
When you concentrate
On a simple plate
People come and go
Threaten what you know
And strike hateful blows
Leaving scars that don't show
My child how I wish
That things weren't like this
They will tear away your wits
And try to create rifts
We wrote you into our arms
We'll keep you from harm
Even after our last alarm
Our good luck charm
A promise we carry forever
We won't forget it, ever
As you find your leisure
We will give without measure
Always remember this place
Your smile and your grace
You have time for mistakes
A slip is not a final grave
Reflections on a photograph of Audrey Hepburn
I know those eyes, that haunt my dreams and
Fan my fevered imagination; they are windows
Into the soul, messengers of my fate.
To look within is to face oneself, and all one's
fears and hopes, reflected in their laughing
Twinkle, lit by their shine of understanding
And compassion. Those eyes; the ghosts
Of things past, that linger yet.
Who has not looked into these eyes? Who?
Whose soul has not questioned itself
Seeing into that of another; that once danced
In time, but now moves to another tune,
Dissonant? Who has not hoped, beyond hope,
That time will stand still, that the hour will
Not come and the abyss open to eternal
Despair?
And, the arabesques of those eyes lure us
To damnation, to the foolishness of hope and
Denial of what lies before us. But, in time,
The cold chill of silence speaks its truth
And hope dies and we find peace.
Yet, still, in moments of doubt and disinhibition,
Those eyes draw us in and resolve
Weakens and faint hope is fuelled to fire.
