We as consciousness at play in this form,
self-aware, mood and mode celebration,
poised in the vibrant void of cessation,
as the epicentre of love’s bliss storm,
constantly bathed in currents cool and warm,
are as such in all-time meditation,
as heart’s permanent orientation,
dwelling in time stretched peace our life’s new norm.
Narrow is focused whilst expanded blurred
and though we may take any position,
having chosen to dwell in body-mind,
where by magnetism nodes within are stirred,
sublime renewal of bliss ignition,
signals we are here now divine aligned.
We
only know
stories
but a story
may pop up
ripping up our
assumptions~~
Some with the gumption
who continually
jump to assumptions
and with no allusions
always arrive
at wrong conclusions
board the wrong train
again and again
and in total frustration
never alight
at the right station
off-track inference prevails
their train of thought
is off the rails
it's repetitive inanity
there's a word for that
it's called 'insanity'
and let's not forget those
excuse me for speaking
while you're interrupting
(he did mutter)
compelled to complete
every sentence I utter
Assume whatever you want of me;
The truth is my head is empty.
Making assumptions
Said I’d get bored of you
How could I ever?…
Its always there.
And no doubting
Turmoil-spanning, will ever be.
As firm, in bridge
Heart, Love bolsters.
Walked all over; too casually.
There are certain deleterious effects
consequential developments and
conditional signs and symptoms
of being called-out, named, accused, or branded
of being, ever so slightly, a poet.
People may assume you live s cloistered, retiring,
purely academic existence, sipping only the rarified air
of your meditative being. Or
they might label you and your ephemeral art
as the drunken babble of an incoherent street poet. And
sometimes this is indeed a fact in all the case scenario's
here-for-to mentioned above, however in actuality,
though you perhaps might wax philosophical
on rare occasions, for instance when you opine
upon the mysterious disappearance of one matching
sock of any given pair of once matching socks,
however, in the main you are just a guy or gal
sitting with a laptop perched precariously on your belly,
trying to sound a whole lot brighter, more whimsical
and interesting than you really are.
Evolution Prevails
Time sculpting and altering shapes foresee intangible celestial disorder
Visualizing imperfections scrambled and mangled influenced by gravity
The impetus to thrive derailed by power causing an impending disaster
Exacting unbearable efforts urging mortals to abate unyielding tenacity
Sensing doom dwellers navigate toward Eden evading a flood of sorrow
Utopia blinding obstinate beliefs abandoning truth for rituals redundant
Evolution prevails igniting invisible currents in space to incessantly flow
In perpetuity human existence is inarguably infinitesimal and irrelevant

The Blinding Eye Of Desire
We begin at a breakneck speed and a
hectic pace
Toward the finish line yearning to win
each pivotal race
Ambitions could prevail over adversity
beneath skies or beyond
Yet urging fate to hand the prize is like
mining gold from a grain of sand

Sometimes we are too quick to make assumptions,
Leading to I don't get this moments,
When the answer is so simple,
You can only ovoid ridicule,
If you are the first to laugh,
At such an obvious fluff.
Take a simple floor puzzle,
You are working on with your grandson,
A straightforward mission,
To putt together a Thomas The Tank Engine puzzle,
No way you could fail the mission,
Totally wrong assumption.
Half an hour later,
About to admit defeat,
And treat my family to raucous laughter,
I found the answer at my feet,
And I was the first to burst into laughter.
In my defence,
A puzzle with two sides to check,
Would make even you look dense,
And at least it finally did click,
Which made all the difference,
To the colour of my cheek.
Revealing what may be
rhetorical perspective
Concealing vagueness of
others as a collective
Irrational is the truth
from all the official lies
Impractical to expose
those once thought so wise
Anonymously to be judged,
I then had to reflect
Inconspicuously to be ignored,
just show me respect
Dismissiveness from others
can be so undeserved
Submissive assumptions
repeatably observed
Deception experienced in
an inferiority disguise
Exceptions delusional
fundamentally they deny
Concerning yet I do
appropriately understand
Discerning discriminating
principles are at hand
Generated tremendous
excitement and in debate
Sedated by unparalleled
contributions dictate
Double standards and chauvinists,
there’s no doubt
Troubles considerable,
as they would openly flout
Assumptions
David J Walker
The days of emptiness
Were words I could not speak
Dreams that had no depth
Death that could not wind
Nor bind the time
Around the mantel clock
Lost restless sleep
While
The pendulum has peaked
And reached its furthest view
Tomorrow's paradigm was seen
In twilights past the in-between
Exposing what is new
Assuming it is true
He Left Me in 1984
David J Walker
He left me everything he had
unique
the way that fathers
Never seem to say
Exactly what they mean like
I love you
He left me with my slice of
The sense of guilt
Between a father and a son
Things not said
Things left undone
At best, assumption and
Hopeful presumption
He left me absorbed in
The grief of vague questions
An empty bank of faith
Of long-held belief
Replaced with wraith
memories
He left me letters I still read
As If I am still far away
in uniform
Hungry for news of the day
From home
Hoping to get there soon
Praying it won’t be long
He left me at the end of a
Phone call
Asking if I could come and
See him
One more time again
Soon I said
God Bless you and your family
He replied
The last words between us
Before he died
He left me in 1984
I was 30
He was 74
I wanted more
I once was 5'4
Anf in the eyes of everyone
I'm still late that height
Even though I've corrected them
Countless of times
Just because I'm a girl
They wont accept that
My height is at the lowest 5'9
They choose to assume I'm short
But I'm tall
I've made up my mind
To ignore people with poor assumptions
And ignore people that never listen
To your own truth
And just assume
They are always right
With no facts to back them up.
i think thus i am
is taught in school as if true
rene descartes thought
not based on premise
nor science of rationale
just ego feeling
of mind being clear
that what came to fore is truth
in reality
