Argumentation Poems | Examples

Horizon of Comprehension

A simple misconception,
Can lead to endless argumentation.
Once it started its initiation,
It'll always have a continuation.

The tension escalates,
While the calmness disintegrates.
How can you mitigate?
A situation from someone obstinate.

Everything starts small,
Then out of its area, it'll crawl.
Slowly climbing over the wall,
Leading to the downfall.

You're not someone I hate,
It's not even up for debate.
Your hunger can't be sated,
You'll uproot all, as if excavated.

The more we talk, the less we agree,
A situation everyone wants to flee.
When every point sparks a ghastly decree,
It can burst into a destructive degree.

Understand the concept,
Don't be inept.
Words have different depth;
If unsure, then don't make a step.

Avoid provocation,
Think of the conclusion.
It might destroy the dominion,
That grew from your affection.

Don't make any sudden demand,
Take a moment to understand.
Misunderstanding is like a quicksand;
Just a step and you'll be a part of the land.

Black Sheep

The psychological intention, the diversion of the facts
The creation of a situation to erase the other tracks
Augmented argumentation the license to do anything
Plausible deniability with all the false facts that we sing

Paradigms are shifting creating a new different realm
Who is the real leader and who should take the helm
Every decision left open to another one's own devices
Leads the normal activity into a world now full of crisis

The minds of the population separately think the same
The majority of the masses can not win this chess game
So cattled up all together following the herd one by one
The black sheep are the future but for now we're on the run

Dreadful masters of deceit at its creation

Censorship and fear, hallmarks, it’s inception.

You think, ah, that’s just ancient history?

As the news marches you happily into misery!

Race-baiting, how you love demonstrations!

Forgetting the lessons, the recriminations.

Skin color does not make you superior!

Just a slick word that justifies terror?

Into the night, you run, text and curse?

Making this planet, not better, just worse!

***Written on the murder of a young, Black
male, at the hands of five Black Police
Officers, who are labeled as “racist!”**
Such argumentation is clearly,…Fascist!

I cannot imagine a world without antagonists
Although I've thought it clearly more fun
Minus those in whom argumentation persists
Arguing for argument’s sake, getting little done
But coming across as an expert, they’ll insist.

Look no further than the Congress of the U.S.A.
For grandstanders who delight in rebuttal
Would we could hold up their annual pay,
And on election day, tell them all to scuttle,
For progress, they continually get in the way.

Most of them think more highly of themselves
Than they ought; not so intelligent, I’m told,
Always trying to convince their mind delves
Into important issues, they search for minor gold
On election day, let’s return them to the shelves.

Eris Redux

Do not count the times my truant tongue spoke
As though counting spring lambs high on the hill!
Can a fire rage aflame with ash and oak
And not yield it's embers to the dawn's chill?

A sabre’s errant challenge to confront
With parochial Envy at its root
Now presented again, both dull and blunt
That turns, by parried defense, to be moot.

Again, with mirth, I engage thine outrage,
Though tire from its false theme of affront
As rote as the actor’s lines from his stage,
No more to win than the fox in the hunt.

Rest thy rage, it to mellow by the morn
To soften thy brow, no longer forlorn.

A providence revelation or just a physical sensation?
Conducting, orchestrating the heart set blazing for her
Kindling the light, the holy angel’s paragon allure
My charisma, to my discomfort fell to an argumentation
As Atlas upholds the skies and the sands amass, spur pass the seasons
Befallen the pulchritude figure of eight moons ago
Musically adore mirrored by the fire’s afterglow
Yet, anon in my shadow moments endure, for my timorous reasons

Nature's nourishing NECTAR needed
Surround sounds astounds naturally
Imagination imagery MAGICAL ecstasy
These are the tides that ATTRACT my attention
More poetry, arbitration prevents LITIGATION

Character assassination
Needless argumentation
CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTEOUS affirmation
Wasted human nature
Three pointer shots in the last seconds of
The game.

These are the situations that make me
Believe what ever will be will be

The sick the healthy
The convicted WRETCHED the corrected
The movers shakers the claim stakers
The rich the poor
Side by side
Tempestuous tempting tides
STRIDE after stride

Opposite dreams at the ROOT of the NECTAR TREE

Sugared Caviar

In any argumentation,
there's none as unanswerable
as a smug diner's opinion.

You gush about chilled champagne,
To my unschooled taste buds,
that's simply bottled, sugared rain.

And you adore sturgeon caviar.
To my unpolished palate,
that's salty clay dipped in tar.

No debate about the agendum.
No dispute in matters of taste:
De gustibus non est disputandum!

Gourmet's Opinion

In any argumentation,
  none is as unanswerable
    as every diner's opinion;

you gush about that chilled champagne,
  to my uninitiated taste buds
    it's but some bottled, sugared rain;

and you adore sturgeon caviar,
  to my naive, unschooled palate,
    a salty lump of clay with tar;

no debate in the agendum,
in matters of taste there's no dispute,
    de gustibus non disputandum!
