When fun gets easy bail

A festival for all who so to hail,
Who freely get anticipatory bail
To break all social norms,
Turn on head all set forms
And get a nod, the powerful to rail.
A mixed blur of mischief,
Freedom, so what if brief,
Where humour and prank’s prime,
Irreverence no crime.
In any a kingdom
Carnivals blur wisdom--
Hoping to kiss bosom
Gets to kick but bottom,
Yet, what so, how so ‘tis,
Joy unfolds if not bliss,
A toast is it, all transgressions to tail.

Premium Member Cancelling Any Friend in Life

If a “friend” cancels you like a stamp, they never were you
friend in the first place!
Friends give people space to be themslves! They welcomed you,
and trusted you in their heart’s space,

Moreover, not one of us wants a friend, that thinks they are a god.
A Mr.or Mrs, stuffed shirt, an inelligensia of know it all?
A friend need not be a Ph,D to us, nor flash her or hishatred in our face.
That is an inhumane, arrogant disgrace!

Just someone who truly cares about us, who and honors us as we are!
With understanding, grace andd gentleness, of and compassion beyond par!

And always remembers.. we all part of the human race,
By God’s most kind and generous holy grace.
Hatred and genocide in any, a hideous and ugly face!

Glints in a Winter Skyscape

Frost has cracked the sky,
the air scintillates,
fragments and splinters of light
shred through layers
of any a softer luminescence.
Blue and white shrapnel
bounce off a shattered vibrancy.

A few autumnal leaf's slow burn,
they are last embers, a crumbling rust
whittles at thinning stems.
Singularly, they fall
sparking into invisibility.

This morning the air is not broken,
it is a fanfare of ice-pierced brightness.
it's a stained-glass window
as still, and as perfect
as a prism set within
a dragon's gleaming eye.

Premium Member I AM BEING

I am being here I exist all around
Omnipresent in the flare of heaven
Far and beyond the beyond! My
Destiny is everywhere all at once
Contrived concealed in the PRIME
of TRIUMPHS and blistering efforts
Of try and trying merciless labor!
Where ARE THE FAVORED?
They must taste this flavor! First
For fortunate ones though they are
Far flung?! I AM BEING! The favored
WILL BE THE TOWER OF MY POWER!
Four they have known. Want for EONS
THESE can NOT any a JUST while
Be denied. They only GROW stronger
I am BEING in PERSISTENCE I DWELL
and do SPELL this EARTH with
Eeeze. This IS INSATIABLE meaning
I AM BEING. Continual resistance
And shall always ETERNALLY BEING
WE BE WE WILL EXISTENCE being
We BE WE BEING! WE! I AM BEING.

Hapless Laments a Man

Chess perhaps be the only game
That mirrors life men live—so tame:
King, as men in kingdom,
Cannot move in freedom,
Queen, any which way in the frame!
If king gets no long rope,
Is there any a hope
For poor men worth their worthy name?

Quiet Comes Spring On Toes, Quiet Goes

Said diaries, said Google and Bing:
Rejoice, today’s the day of spring,
But city was in doubt,
Paved roads, not a green sprout,
Soilless bare, it can show nothing.

The streets’ tarred or cemented lands
Much like the desert’s parched up sands,
No blade of grass peeped out,
Spring failed to show its clout,
Sun cane and went as ever wends.

The glazed glass windows were all shut,
All of Nature outside to cut,
City folks oft as are,
Nature was left too far,
No one had any a clue, but

When someone asked potted flowers:
O did ye hear the day’s rumours?
Flowers of paper made
Naught had heard nor yet said,
And quiet left Spring in reverse.

Happenings |26.01.2023| Rhyme, spring

Poet’s note: Two days back arrival of Spring (locally known as Vasanta Panchami) was announced by the Moon calendar. Spring, but there remained wintry chill. To make it worse there was an unseasonal shower and Sun hardly showed from behind clouds. Whispers were heard on Global Warming, that seasons have gone haywire, and all… Anyway, in cities seasons mean very little, and people come to know of them only because of calendars.

That Be the New Year

When we meet— whatso be the day,
That’s our New Year.
When heart aligns with heart,
That’s our New Year.
Any a day it might arrive—
Any of the three sixty five,
Whenever our minds meet,
That’s the New Year.
When on face rainbow shades are seen,
Bright lamps are lit within,
To celebrate when we feel keen,
That’s our New Year.
And if Sun feels lazy
Under clouds a bit fuzzy,
And you pen a poem to perk it,
That’s our New Year.
When in a rackless abandon
Sea’s stormy sans inhibition,
The sailors save each to each,
The safe home shore to reach,
That day’s their New Year.
Whatso date our God-given heart
Reaches out, stays no more apart,
O ponder upon this,
Is not it a New Year of bliss?

Seagull

A red raw gape, a crater of hunger,
the clacking tongue
a buckram spear shaken at all comers.

The gulls mouth is the gull,
its avian body
only a winged engine for that open maw,
a perfect bow for that arrowing beak
with its raucous bugle.

A gullet for a perfected greed;
a throat that yawns wide enough
for any a scavengers scream,
a call allied to the pitiless winds,
and thrashing seas.

Start the New Year With Love

S-tart the new year with love,
H-ope, faith, and trust too;
I-t's going to be bright life,
E-very dream will come true.

C-ommence the new year with love,
A-nger and hate are ruled out;
D-ecember twentieth Wednesday,
E-vade the lies and doubt.
M-any a blessing will come,
A-s we pray to the Lord God above;
S-top the fight and war, start the new year with love.

A Talk Between a Farmer and a Bird

A farmer praised a bird for its capability
Of eating up all the insects upon the crops:
Fantastic! It certainly contributes to high yields
Of crops enough for everyone a finer year

The bird listened but didn't conceive appropriate
Yielding a few words plain and insipid:
Eating up insects is not something we favor
"Eat as you desire" is just us a habit

Provided you guys wipe out worms by insecticides
We would not have any a piece of advice
As a fact as everyone knows, birds drink and eat
When no insects could capture
We, our birds, eat your crops for sure

Give me all of one thing, and I’d gladly
give up all of the others.

Not for me the monotony of variety,
the trying, the sampling, the dabbling,
the skimming over surfaces.
Experience is nothing without intensity.

Give me a drowning then,
in a false god, a love, a cause (any), a bottle, a syringe.
Depths to sink to
en route to the peaks of rapture.

Give me freedom from having to make choices,
relief from the responsibility of autonomy,
the solace of surrendering
to that which demands
humility, piety, the soul’s nudity.

Obedience is clarity.

All of life reduced to the totality of me
and the finality of “it”.

Give me the comfort of wanting all of one thing
that wants all of me.

Broad Overview

M-any a thing's broad overview
E-xplains the full summary;

O-n the thirteenth of January.
