That Momentary Encounter

fleeting memory of you
one fateful encounter
you are my muse
a solace in that moment
standing across the road
our roads will never cross
you see I'm a "sad amorist"
i will always say, "our stars will never align"

i will paint my knuckles red
just for a glimpse of you
but scared of the thought
you belong to someone else
I'll leave a letter at your door
my idea of you will never fade
my ink for you will never run dry
it's a letter that i will never fly

Sad Amorist

i am a sad amorist
who seeks to understand the love songs of the bird
the stories, the notes they sing that are like open book
but less understood at the same time
a deluge of emotions that leaks a stream from my eyes

i am a sad amorist
who seeks to look for the storm, in the silence of a river
the tranquility that seems to exist but not at heart
obliviousness of the age, my dreams torn apart

The moon's hidden serenade is Elysian divine,
The world glows in its ambrosian silver shine
It whispers arcane known solely to the night
A charming melody, an utter amorist delight,
Harmony and heirloom are ariose and enhance,
A kaleidoscope of pink and gray buds advance.

Lone Warrior - a Cyberpoem

Across the shadowed byte desert, a lone warrior limped.
Impelled by a spirited misanthropy, he plied the
idle partitions of mind and thirst.
An orphaned amorist, passionate, but alone.

And as he stumbled, the adders whispered hoarsely, and
the diodes siphoned the darkness, revealing the
atrophy, the phantom.

The showering bits, hardwired through his dreams,
despised his trophy; reality.

It was stormy with the pathos of insanity...

               ---===|||===---

And still, he wandered vainly through this parched land,
searching; His reward glimmering quietly across the code,
which danced between his groping fingers.

Aphorisms roamed in the chaos, and margins shifted
as he compiled the disorder which roared within his mind.

Slowly, his child emerged. At last, execution!

               ---===|||===---

But the young one, so perfect, so delicate, required more
than he could give. The decision was made...

Dan Kearley

Truly, it is people like you that make life magnificent
I can’t imagine this site without a delightful you
You seem to glow in this amazing supernova of light
Never bursting, but gently yet powerfully shining through
I’m known to be a gloomy poet sometimes
But nevertheless you sense the love in my lines
Most of all,
You see the love in all
And you live by love
You are a true poet
An amorist with a bedazzling spirit!

Dan Kearley,
Clearly, very clearly
You are the center piece to the poetic puzzle of our hearts

There's a passion that burns deep down inside me
With a tenderness that longs for me to succeed
To show the world my compassion, and devotion
And I must do this with a soul searching need

For I am an Amorist, who's devoted to writing about love
Hoping to embrace with an affection that grips everyones heart
May my words reach every distant land of this world
To bring a pure kindhearted pleasure that is felt from the start

Amorist

I wanted a day with you
and you promised to give your life
I pleaded a moment with you
and you avowed me another life.

I dawned a smile with you
and you cheered me with your laughter
I whisked my tears apace you
and you partook me with your tender.

I bricked the beauty in you
and you candied me with your fervor
I framed the benignity in you
and you cajoled me with your allure.

I destined a walk with you
and you eased me with your company
I recalled every word I spoke with you
and you penned every word in your diary.

I felt my juvenality with you
and you flowered me with your mimes
I found myself in you
and you had already versed me with your rhymes.

I perceived an intimacy with you
and you confided me, never will be apart
I aired the fragrance in you
and you thumped me with your heart.

I wanted a life with you
and you promised to give another
I pleaded a memory with you
and you framed me, being your lover.

The Amorist

Here you shall see me
when I shall see you
lined against the horizon of distant beauty
shading my eyes from such radiance.
Here I shall fold into you,
cast my soul upon your beauty,
allow you to carry me off.

Hello. How again I hear such sensual whispers
beating with the melody of time. Hello.
Take my heart to the stars,
bless my eyes with your soft form
laying gently in my arms. Hello. Whisper.

(bisbiglio)

Fall gently upon this bed of roses
I carry you to with a dozen reasons
why we cross paths on occasion,
fall into my soul as I have fallen into your sunlit spirit.

Kiss the heated lips of the one
who will die so you may live
where I shall see you
when you shall see the winged infant amoretti
as my symbol of love.
