The Amorist

Here you shall see me
when I shall see you
lined against the horizon of distant beauty
shading my eyes from such radiance.
Here I shall fold into you,
cast my soul upon your beauty,
allow you to carry me off.

Hello. How again I hear such sensual whispers
beating with the melody of time. Hello.
Take my heart to the stars,
bless my eyes with your soft form
laying gently in my arms. Hello. Whisper.

(bisbiglio)

Fall gently upon this bed of roses
I carry you to with a dozen reasons
why we cross paths on occasion,
fall into my soul as I have fallen into your sunlit spirit.

Kiss the heated lips of the one
who will die so you may live
where I shall see you
when you shall see the winged infant amoretti
as my symbol of love.
