A Japanese inventor has over 3,500 patents
That's three times more than Thomas Alva Edison
Do they ever sleep
Do they count sheep
Checked it recently, no special talents

At Last We Pause

At Last we Pause
For: Robert Allen Wise
And at last we pause on dirty streets,
At somber rest with eternal peace.
A moment’s sleep on Satan's floor
With a constant dream of heaven’s door
The cry of battle has embrace its death
As vengeance draws its last breath
One good soul ascends abyss
Into the portal of eternal bliss.
A majestic voice said you may pass
A warriors shadow you have cast
The restless night that you have slain
Creates the dawn that you regain.
So dream no more of battles past
And awaken from your daunting task
This day of memory we give to you
My embattled brother with life anew.

Lament For the Dead

Lament for the Dead

buried deep beneath
Twin Towers’ bloodstained rubbles
my murdered loved one

a heartbroken heaven wept
trapping joy in a time warp…

In memory of Alva Sanchez who was killed on September 11, 2001, during the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, in New York City; and dedicated to my nephew, Ryan who was left motherless.

Small and Beautiful

Glow-worms,surviving livings of the ailing village

Below the moon threatening dark in courage

Throw the light of tribes on Alva Edison's face

Taking off, landing and flying as kites threading air in race

Where is the prince?tracing night Queen in lust

Glowing worms now all over in science nest

Glow-worms bite,no cure,Grand Ma warned,I do remember

Oh,small souls flying,shining and dimming,what a wonder?

Where is fuel cell, how to refill?reveal!

Where is fuel cell, how to refill?,reveal!

Dimming in dark,Glow-worms,shining in light

Smallest ants cast long shadows is how right,

Teaching a life lesson in all their might!

Edison

I thought of a day sans the Sun
I thought of a night sans the light

All the times that I thought of the light
I thought of Edison!

Thomas Alva Edison-
The power house shed light in the direction of right
A total solution found dark to fight

Light, an innovation from the mind of a bright
A revolution only second to the Moon walk strait

All the times that,I look at the light
I see the tired face of the might
Edison bought time and time to come out of his plight

Light in the night-
In the way of Owl's and Bat's sight

Edison, a pupil the school refused to teach
Edison, a lessen the schools undertook to teach

Edison bore torch light to his mate,Henry Ford
To put his wheels of four on the road

On the day of TWO ELEVEN of his birth-
Don't switch off lights to bring dark
But switch on saying "EDISON" in honor to mark!

Dear Lord

The rains of impossible and
unbearable are falling,
Dear lord, I need a shell to craw
in.
Death, disease, suffering and
unrighteousness dropping on
people’s heads
Make me like a tortoise with a
shell oh lord to brace my head.
The rains of impossible and
unbearable are falling,
Dear lord, I need a shell to craw
in.

Love Happens

Boyfriend, girlfriend: that is
what they are known by
They promise never to say to
each other goodbye.

They call what is between them,
love,
But does it last a quarter their
age for them to have?

“Oh, let me warn you, sisters in
Jerusalem, by the gazelles,
Yes, by all the wild deer: don’t
excite love, don’t stare it up,
Until the time is ripe and you’re
ready.”

Boyfriend, girlfriend; if you have
me queried,
Love just happens.
                                 Alva
kanyika.

Queen Vagina Wept

“QUEEN VAGINA WEPT”
Queen V governed her
monarchy for decades with
utmost discipline. Her subjects
helped in making her look like a
blameless and mighty god.
Every male leader envied her
government and hoped for her
decline with utmost pleasure.
At the drop of a hut, just like a
treasure that once had extreme
value and now can be picked on
the side walk without charge her
monarchy became. Again her
subjects played a huge role in
making her look foolish.
The monarchy was a
confinement which had
everything within it. All subjects
were born inside and were only
able to be seen, touched or
tempered with once they
attained the age of 25 and only
by a specific type of people.
SHAME! Who does not know
how these subjects look like?
SHAME! Who does not know
how their touch feels like?
SHAME! Who has not tempered
with anyone of them?
Almost everyone has enjoyed
the warm company of almost
every one of these subjects.
Looking at the number of the
remaining few loyal subjects,
the queen wept.

The Incandescent Bulb

Such a spherical near ball of delight,
Dispelling darkness with illuminating bright light.
It’s core made of red hot and burning filament,
An element clearing blackness, our eyes out of predicament.
If not for a discovery, by Thomas Alva Edison?
We’d still be in Hades, instead we’re in Heaven.
So thanks to the bulb, we don’t strain our sight,
Whether its day light or the darkest of night.
Imagine a life without incandescent light?
I shudder to think of such a terrible plight.
