False Pander

Never conflate
money and love
The one hates the other
when push comes to shove

Never confuse
false pander for care
The almighty dollar
— unable to share

Premium Member Taxed To Death

Taxed To Death
Yes, we are all exhausted
And yes, we are all taxed to death
Money vanishes without a trace
Cost of living these days are insane
Too many burdens to carry
Frustrated to the brink
With no room to breath
Taxes to pay for our freedom
Money can ruin a marriage
Life is draining the middle class
Just to keep your head above water
Bills are never ending
Our government indulges in consistent spending
Just eat beans and rice
Don’t have a choice
Anchored down to the almighty dollar
Money torrent like water
Just walk off the cliff
Knee deep in blood

Premium Member The Best Things In Life Are Free

If the best things in life are free
Why does the world revolve around money?
Must I die in order to enjoy my fruits?
What lies ahead after the game of pursuit?
After I possess the gold, cars and home
What other wealth can I obtain unknown?
Can I buy a ticket into the pearly gates?
How can I obtain a way to avoid destiny or fate?
Must I pay friends in order for them to stand by me?
Without currency, will the love of my life still lay beside me?
At night, will this witch continue to ride me?
Will the spirit of greed forever chide me?
How long will the almighty dollar hide me?
Worldly riches will never make me whole
For, I am rich within my soul
Yet, my final home I have yet to see
 My father possesses riches unknown
Throughout eternity I wallow besides poverty happily
But poverty will never swallow me

Premium Member Manifesto

Government, corporations, military,
Healthcare, and the insurance you carry -
if you fight them in court, you have my respect.
Mega-systems don't care about lives they've wrecked,
and the b******ds always win.

In the personal life of your own creation,
you can tune into a loving vibration.
You can change this sad saying to a bad cliche,
or if it's true, you can make it easier anyway,
when the b******ds always win.

Fighting the machine is enough to overwhelm,
but it's not right to knock out the man at the helm.
If you can cause change, you're a better man than I.
After the struggles I've had, I don't even try,
and the b******ds always win.

The almighty dollar is all that matters,
without consideration for lives it shatters.
People in the system, ain't more than a cog.
To get someone to care, you must buy a dog,
and the b******ds always win.

American Future

We won’t remember 9/11
election fraud will be forgotten
school shootings will belong in the past
no one will talk about gun control
black, white, woman, man, illegal, homeless, rich or poor
old, young, gay, straight, native or cowboy
we will finally know equality
climate change will not be debated
Social Security and Medicare won’t be needed
all religions will bond together
the words Republican and Democrat will have no meaning
there will be no need for lies, no hate, no greed
no one will cry, fake news, fake hair, fake smile
the almighty dollar will lose its luster
no one will feel envy or jealousy
we will remember the value of prayer
no one will care about this poem
after they launch the thermonuclear warheads

Premium Member The Almighty Dollar

Whoop and Holler
    for the Almighty Dollar

  Arraigned yesterday
    in a pure white collar

The Almighty Dollar

Wealth, status, fortune and fame
The finest cuisines known to mankind
Dreaming of the life you wish you could live
If only you had more of that almighty dollar

Sipping a drink on a private island
Surrounded by gorgeous people at your beck and call
Wouldn't it be something, wouldn't it be everything
If only you had more of that almighty dollar

The designer clothes, the designer cars
The mansion with too many rooms to count
You'd have the finest possessions money could buy
If only you had more of that almighty dollar

But ask yourself, next time you fantasize
When you find yourself wishing for fortune and fame
Once you have everything the almighty dollar can buy
Do you really have, anything at all?

Premium Member Eliots Friend

You’ve got a lark on the brain
I’ve got a ghost in mine
Shape of the shadows of things to come
Half started is only half begun

In the distance I hear a violin
Loosely based on ragged knee
Shades of grey floating free
Insipid dreams are following me
Took the tragic risk
Death served cold
On a porcelain dish

Whitest whites darkest nights twist of fate
Winding roads you can’t navigate
Empty room bereft of grace
With frozen eyes his lips embrace
Sold your soul for the title role
The bill’s come due
What’s happened before you can’t undo
You’re gonna pay his price
The valley of deaths’ a fools paradise

Nosferatu walks with death
His dear dear friend, walks as death walks
His dear dear friend
Shapes have no form shades have no color
Don’t need it no more, the almighty dollar
The knifes in the block, the axe it swings
Listen to the bells as they ring

In for a penny in for a pound
Penny for the old guy
Leave it where you found .....it
Strawmans’ head is full of hay
Nothing new has come your way
Treats you as his enemy
While wearing a mask of integrity
No ones gonna bring you round
Black birds cry the perfect sound.

Climate Change

Climate Change

Everything changes

Apart from the almighty Dollar

The Bank's and the Market's

And Oil by the Barrel

You can't beat Mother Nature

So don't P her off

Premium Member The Almighty Dollar

There once was a venerable scholar
Who was asked 'bout the worth of a dollar
   He replied, nonplussed
   "It's in God we trust"
George Washington's sly grin on his collar

Premium Member A Silent Prayer

I watch the news, turned into a reality show
of well-rehearsed melodramas, designed to sell time.
Alternative realities justify hate;
there is blood on our streets!

Politicians grift; everything revolves around
obtaining money and power.
We live in critical times,
our children's futures are in jeopardy!
Today, kids use the internet for companionship;
and friends are replaced by emojis and likes,
lacking any physical interface.

Global warming is absolute;
yet people deny that climate change is real;
and when proven wrong, they defer blame to someone else.
We're addicted to technology; it's the monkey on our backs,
and humanity may be the cost we pay.

We rally to false flags, forming groups of them versus us;
and worshiping the almighty dollar,
we haggle over the price of our souls.
Fearing what the future holds, I offer this silent prayer:
Lord, forgive us in our time of greed. Amen!

Premium Member Christmas Before Halloween

If you want Christmas before Halloween, just go to the stores.
In Walmart you will find Christmas trees by the scores.
Why do we need Christmas in the Fall?
In October it is already Christmas at the mall!

By Christmas time we are all burned out,
Seeing decorations months in advance at the checkout.
I wish they would wait at least until November.
But it is the almighty dollar the retailers remember.

Premium Member Homage To the Osage

Where the Osages' God almighty once reigned
The almighty dollar their proud life- blood drained
As man- made arteries pumped out the rich black oil
Making a mockery of their sacred soil
Their native American dream withered and died
A bounty built on bodies the thieves satisfied
Slick concords duped and dealt deceit
Gilt edged profit a one way street
Guilt hardened minds plundered their lands
Blood and oil both besmirching their sands
With their sacred lands profaned ,laid bare and dry
Vengeance is their spectral spirits' only cry

Blinded

Fool's Gold
Show up in my life
So beautiful, wholesome
Like a angelic magician
Turned my cloudiness to lightness

Set my psyche to tenfold
Shaped me to feel unbroken
Cherished my flaws in all
Vertiginous by your tenderness
Sent my guard out the window

Sunlight turned into murkiness
Phosphorescent rotate to duskiness
Laughter looped to despair
Heart became disgusted
Soul tie turned unequally yoke

True colors revealed itself
Narcissistic knock on the door
Almighty dollar was the goal
Emotions was a put on
Undiscerning steered to deception

What Do I Want

During a recent email discourse with a sister from garden city church I was asked this question...

What I could do is keep everybody in suspense and say what old bunker said on tv years ago....JEFFERSON I WANT TO BE THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES BUT WELCOME TO TH WORLD....

But that would confuse everybody, and believe me I am enough to do just that.....

So what do I want....

I want

A church that will turn right when the other churches turn left

Or vice versa

I want a church that is not afraid of the truth and speaking it....

I want a minister whose love is Christ, not the almighty dollar and what it can buy

I wAnt a congregation who is not confused about the truth.....

And this , dear reader is the beginning of that which I want

Thank you and God Bless
