                                            River

                                   flowing in curves.

                               Waves dance and propagate

                             in rhythmic pattern of ripples.

Cadence of flow to change from ebb to tide.

                               Alluvial deposits on

                            soaked soil of either bank.

                                   zig - zag flow of

                                        River.

The World's Applause

The world’s applause
After climbing the highest peak,
The world’s applause;
It is victory’s cause, because
The eagle knows of which I speak,
Love grants an alluvial creek;
The world’s applause

Marshy, muddy, like the alluvial soil after rains
Slippery, clutching, quaking, and giving way underfoot
Pulling the solitary wayfarers with vein-nerve strains
Pets and cattle, as though sailing on sinking boats, get hooked.

Is human kinship as smooth as rolling on fresh flowers?
Amidst love, laughter, and unbridled joy and fulfillment
Like seasons change from sunny summer to monsoon showers
Don't relationships bring in quagmires of self-concealment?

Under the seemingly muddy water of emotions
When headaches and heartaches dare to abide with happiness
Within opens notions of communication erosions.
Grass blades hiding the messy marshes lead to fussiness.

Ponder! Meditate! Contemplate! Walk in a Zen rhythm!
Quagmire says, Beware of the existential vacuum.

Slugging it Out

Crypto beasts once roamed the earth
with all the other regular monsters.

Early man was still a fish-like slug,
which was a good thing,
because the fish-like slug was itself,
only slowly evolving.

Thus, all unknowing,
potential humanity
slithered around its thick alluvial ponds,
blissfully unaware
that for a few more million years,

Mother Nature
would still be running around
with Her hair on fire.

Premium MemberRecombobulating Chaos

thoughts lick at my consciousness
distracting me from the warm embrace
of the colour pallet unfolding
I stare with myopic eyes at the kaleidoscope
endeavouring to discern the demarcation
of the edge of each shade
naming them as though they are listed on a colour chart
displayed at the local hardware store
but as soon as I have one splash of tint pinned down
it fades to be replaced by a more pleasing explosion of colour
a child’s toy impatiently twirled
a rainbow snipped into a multitude of shapes
in never to be repeated patterns

like an uxorious husband
it enfolds the evening sky in its loving embrace
its fleece soft fingers exploring
lulled into a unison of consent
with a barely perceptible rush of contentment
a slight sibilant sigh issues

memorialising daylight
clinging to the fringes of observation
the scene depicts its titular character
of moral decay
the riparian area jealously guards its supremacy
as hydrophilic plants are robbed of their splendour

in a final display of defiance
alluvial fans buffet against the offing
recombobulating
the natural order of Chaos:
The Great Deep of ancient mythology

Premium MemberGood Morning - Collab

Mellifluous chirps and tweets woke me up.
Heavy sloth still but got out from my suite.
Dew pearls rested on glowing petals, yup!
The tips of wet pasture chuckling my feet.

Soft alluvial soil making a squish
And scent of blooms took me into a trance.
Little plants nodding heads as if to wish.
Rapt spirits turned me a poet by chance.

Daydream

I mused, foolhardy. I messed around
With sentiment attached to place.
Now soul makes off with my faculties!
Essence parts with my name and face!

Down the otway's surge of tranquil-sipped
Memories, fern-chilled; into the bay
Apollo, as alluvial gold
Which flow. Whence comes then my dismay?

Premium MemberRiver Tigris

Tigris, Idigna, Idiqual,
watering parched desert lands
of Mesopotamia.
Swift it flows on the East
toward the sea, from
the once fertile Garden of Eden.
Arterial blood of arid lands,
of transportation,
of trade and commerce.
In spring, mountain snowmelt
tumbles and rushes downward,
flooding alluvial plains for farming,
sharing its life-giving waters
from time immemorial to villages,
towns, and great cities.

UNISON WITH OCEAN

From mountain glacier melts, slides, glides, slips:
Spring springs up waking from dormant dream,
falls free frolic hitting stones, tumbling pebbles
        cascading in opulence.

Slim stream flows, goes, giggling gaily.
Little brittle ripples dancing up and down in rapture
Slender narrow stream turns wide broad river
choosing zigzag spiral path on plane land
       propagating waves on aqua dynamism.

Vivacious river attains vigor in fervor.
Showers of blessing as wealth of alluvial deposits.
        Flora-fauna, habitats flourishing in diversity
        on fertile riverbanks.

River flows ceaseless forever, turns back never,
        unidirectional way to Sea.
River reaches its final goal losing identity,
aiming unison with vast boundless ocean.

Alluvial prayers cast in gold

Reverence capitalized

Christianity besieged

His excellency pardons

Begging paupers of virtue

Indulgence contaminates

Seeks marble idols at church

Heaps insincerity

Onto faith and religion

Purchases circle of sins

I Love Poem-Sermons

DEDICATION: To Paul : Tristich Series
I
Out of uttermost, depths, disappointments, baby deaths ...
We have forgiven God, the forgiveness He began in spaciousness
Our suffering is the portal to discovery: Abba-Father suffered Eden's losses

II
If we have any heirs, they'll welcome us in heaven alongside Jesus
And Trinity loved Eve as dearly as They did Adam, yet parted with Yeshua
To get more sons and daughters; Isaiah sang "It pleased God to crush Him

III
This is why we can face a spouse, loss after loss: heirs, land, home
Suffering is the only portal to take us beyond suffering: like sin, alluvial gold!
Easy to find, preciously, invaluably turning us away from here to there: my Home

Rivers

The Tigris and Euphrates,
they flow like time,
murmuring and sighing
and running their individual courses,
cradling Mesopotamia,
their land,
in life,
and flooding the plain in alluvial soil,
for cities to put down deep roots,
the wonder of humanity.

Erosion

my mind is an erosion of cliffsides
along the sandy shores where
winds blow away and erode the
layers of once-prominent facades
which proudly faced the tempermental
forces of nature until the years of
strife weakened its very structure
to a crumbling pile of rock and soil
at the bottom of an uneven pile
damaging all in its path of destruction
which encourages an alluvial gush
when the rains arrive adding to the
muddy wasteland leaving a chaotic
scene of despair for hopelessness
in which there is no turning back to
what was once and to cleanup the
mess of the rumble and roar of nature's
attack on my abode of self which resides
at the bottom of a cliff all broken up
waiting for the tide to sweep me away

Jashwant a Kind Friend

In the wicked world brutal
Only few fine friends local
Will lend their finger social
To help us regain imperial.
Among them Jashwant jewel
Standing with me in time real.
Earlier we had quarrels brutal
On tuitions or money total;
Later adjusted, but his accrual
Of knowledge I can’t level.
In money I was ahead a little
Later he covered the recital.
Principal is the post special
Bestowed on him in quintal;
Nature changed to royal:
Lately better not so trivial.
In time of our dispersal
He cried, seemed an ideal,
But past memories at coral
Haunted his friendship approval.
He was helped at all level,
Let it be Geeta or be Jwal.
Still he is my friend fraternal;
His importance is vital.
Right from accident’s tidal
To his departure actual
We sat or carried a trial.
Now no problem in appraisal
All grunges now look artificial;
Seeking his friendship amoral.
May God grace him all alluvial
And empower qualities glottal.
