Zealots

zealous zealots zigzag
running rampant, repeating
dubious data drawn
from fallacious forums
which write woeful
tales that try to teach
lurid laughable lies

Society as few know it

Veracious vanity about victories over
veils shows vain values corrupted by
vicious volatile villains in hopes for
votive to vindicate,
Grossly gluttons gain grains over
gloomy groups of ghastly greiven gulls,
Foreign fighting by ferocious foes gets
fulfilled here by fat-headed fools
fulminating for their unknowing fatalities,
Deep dark derivatives of evil dance daily
drawing delusional dimwits to drown
devishly in damnation,
Multimedia manipulates millions
maliciously magnifying multitudes of
mass misguided many,
Local laws layover latitudes of laundered
logistics layering subliminal taxations
lowering lifestyles lived by the
Land of the Limited.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
" There'll be love and laughter and peace ever after, tomorrow when the world is free, just you wait and see"   Walter Kent.
Frustrated fiery feelings.
Anger at all atrocities.
Feeling fire following fast.
Soul’s senses smoldering,
Of outrageous oblivion.
Splinters spear so silently.
And ashes ascend angrily.
Frightening fire flashes.
Suddenly silence surrenders.
Perpetual peace permeates.
Briefly beyond battles.
Contrition captures calm.
Onward obeying orders.
Dutiful dying, deluded dead.
Increases industry's interest.
Soldiers sacrifice so senseless.
Profits push political power .
Wonder was war worth while.
Observed obscene onslaught over.
When will we witness world without wars?
war
Fight For Freedom
Burning, broken bridges
are fixed when fighters faint.
Learners lothe their limits,
but painters pick their paint.
Builders break their backbones
so we can wonder and wait,
but city skyline sights
ramp a ridiculous rate.
Waiting wasn't working,
so someone sings a song.
It hurts the hearts of heroes
and those what wanted wrong.
We win this war together;
on devils, don't depend.
No one here knows nothing.
Fight with us 'til the end.
Telescope
I
James Webb - wise investment by USA
After Hubble's wonders, now light
Billions of years, perhaps since Big Bang
Seen by humans; J. Biden's pride
In America's foresight, help folk, help science
When most nations notoriously lack basics
But not for want of money, mandacity there
Prayers here don't make muster (loadshedding)
But I'm grateful for Pics yet to be seen
I heard tidbits on the radio, long-expected blessing
James Webb telescope (God smiles?) 'midst ancient light
II
The long-awaited Hubble successor, James Webb Telescope, is off & running. USAmericans have a right to smile ... Yes, recession, depression & race & political oppression are all about us, but we can AND MUST DO MORE THAN ONE HUMAN PROJECT AT A TIME. amen
Contrast Comparisons
Comedic contortionist claims clubfeet;
consider carefully, circus clowns cheat.
Chico chipped Carson City's carved concrete
clumsily chiseling cheap cardboard containers.
Charlatans can calm capitol complainers
confounding Congressional campaigners.
How a Politician Thinks
The truth is a lie and,
a lie is the truth.
to convince is a lie
for the truth is real
To mean is not the truth
Convincing is not true either
for the truth is real
that’s why they ask,
for proof.
But, if it’s true and real
Why do we have to prove,
the truth is real.
I do not owe the truth,
To you, so
why do you ask for it
I take the 5th and not say
While others believe
your lying by not saying
Truth be told this all,
Dishonest by not,
Telling the truth.
Acrostic Alliteration - Putin, Oops
Abhorrent atrocities...
Lives life lying...
Leader libel...
Implying indiscriminate idiosyncrasies...
Thieving... trashing... torturing...
Executions... exploiting... exterminating...
Reckless... random reactions...
Allowing abominations...
Terminating trust...
Invalidating instructions
Out of order...
No... no names...
Premium MemberApocalypse Almost Arrived
Insidious, insipid, id-inebriated imbeciles
incite impetus into inevitable immolation.
Bombast, bluster and bluff: blunt batons of barbarian bullies;
backwards behaviour blackballs baronial breed's burdens and bonds.
Weasely, willy-waving warmongers wage wanton war of words
without wit, wisdom or worldliness, whilst we weakly watch and wait.
Regrettable, repugnant reprobates ravage refined realms with
reprehensible rapier-rattling and rancid rhetoric.
Clash of corrupt, contemptible cutthroats carves calamity 'cross
continents and culminates in catastrophic conflagration.
Pointless predatory and political power-plays pale as
pirouetting pariahic pyres patently a pyrrhic prize.
A Remnant Remains
What Remains
by
Rick Folker
June, 2017
Kansas City, MO
When the crowd clamors
And the tocsin clangs
When the mighty and powerful
Crush the weak, the vulnerable,
The poverty that chains and shames
When fear fights fiercely
With the menacing gang
Silencing the prophets
With their poisonous slang
When the refugee seeks safety
Those sojourners are met with a
Door slamming
And a deafening bang!
When these omens and portents are
The normal sturm und drang
Of a soul-less people clinging to
Myths of endless positive change
When all of these mindless, pointless,
Endless
Strife-filled days
Divide and dwindle down
To the ashes of the last
Death pangs
A Remnant Remains
A Remnant Remains
And life and love are reborn and return
Again! and Again! and Again!
