Born with beauty all over her face
Trim to fit leather and lace
Always attractive with her new looks
Catching her prey with her sexy sharp hooks
Green was the color she held in her purse
Men in suits would burden her curse
Whatever she wanted she got with her sass
And what helped her to get things was her shapely round ass
But all in due time her world came and crashed
Her house and her riches got mangled and mashed
Her ex came out swinging with the law in his hand
The lawman he was made sure she got canned
Thrown behind bars by the lies from his mouth
A Redneck Hill Billie raised in the south
That face of beauty turned fragile and frail
When she finally got out of that filthy slum jail
Battered and broken is now her new look
All from the badge of that Hill Billie crook
After what seems like years, I’m back in society,
Hoping that the outside world hasn’t changed too much.
If the spice of life is what they call variety,
My time spent alone has caused me to be out of touch.
I did my time, willingly, for something I didn’t do,
But I suppose that the punishment did fit the crime.
Some may say that that’s wrong; but that’s their point of view.
My reasons may give them insight, but all in due time.
I may not know a lot, but I do know right from wrong.
That gave me comfort while I was in my room, alone.
Though I was grounded for only one day, it seemed so long.
But, covering for my little brother felt good to the bone.
I know I'll see you all in due time
Everyday I awake with y'all in mind
Since that's all I got
Memories are bittersweet
So soon as my feet hit concrete
May God bless every step I take
And bless every memory I make
So please forgive me for the sins I commit
But from my heart, I just wanna repent
My time spent,walking through life findin direction
Watchin for land mines on this this path that I'm steppin
My heart be heavy but it still hurts at times
I guess that's why you feel my pain in every line
This my therapy for my soul
Not really caring about goin platinum or goin gold
So what I go through only God knows
And there's nothing in life that can bring back those
Ones that I constantly think about
And shed tears fo
Cause in the physical form I'll see you no mo
Every line I speak the truth
This is something I had to write,from me to you

I was once told, and very recently: "That I should allow for my wings to dry and to sit on my hands."
This person also added: "Get used to your own ground and apply yourself to trying to remain helpful if, and when, and wherever you still possibly, can be!"
"Yes, friend, you will soar all in due time again, and you will never need to come down - unless; this is to allow for another to apply themselves towards this ever-helpful effort, the very same way, and ever-continually!"

Twenty eight years – oh my
So fast - they do go
From the sweet young girl I first met
To the beautiful women I now know
It just keeps getting better
Like wine – it refines
It deepens the meaning
Great things come - all in due time
Commencement – a new journey
Another stepping of a stone
New chapter – love story
Our life – rich – what a beautiful flow
Our little girl – now - moving on
Our son – what a young man
You and I together
The next stage in life – seems to be part of a divine plan
Amor fati – Latin – for the love of one’s fate
You are inseparable from my story
In fact
You are my story – wow - isn’t that great!
Enriched - knowing where we are
It’s an amalgamation of all that we do
Twenty eight years together
I look forward – to spending the rest of my life - with you
