Free to be Me

I really must admit it took some time
It was not very easy
I finally gave myself the space to be finally free
Free to make my own decisions and live by my own consequences
I am free to express myself and verbalize what would have been well hidden sentences
I must admit I have more to conquer
I don't fear the challenge
I actually anticipate it
I never ran from a problem in life
Along with this freedom comes the reality
A disappearing act has become my strife
No one to hold me down or back
I can move across the board as I please
Just free

WATCH

Is it my imagination,
Or just frustration,
About the state of the Nation.

Has mainstream media moved on from being sneaky,
And can now be termed creepy.

Do you not find see WATCH as the lead into any story,
That is creepy, or nasty creepy,
Just plain creepy,
When you feel sleepy,
And open to the media tricks that were sneaky,
But now quite creepy.

I think it is time for a most creepy award,
For media across the board,
For enticing those who are bored,
To spread the word,
That free board,
In jail is easily found,
When creepy and nasty abound,
To turn a life that is sound,
Into one that sees them hell bound,
As they watch what should never be copied above ground,
When evidence is all around,
That copying of what is creepy and nasty is easily found.

Why those best suited to high office never get elected

They are,
Still in touch with reality
They Value logistics over statistics,
They ask the right questions.

They don't believe in a totally cashless society,
Their vision for the future includes a roadmap,
That leads to prosperity for more than 10.

They see People, Water and the environment,
As assets that should never be auctioned off to the highest bidder,
They see benefit in strong communities.

They never make cuts across the board,
They understand that some services should never be contracted out.
That due diligence in this day and age is a heavy responsibility,
And put extra time and resources into it.

They understand that most white collar crime increases when,
Staffing levels drop to a point where,
The temptation to borrow and pay back,
Without anyone being the wiser,
Seems risk free to more people than you think.

They don't believe in overtaxing children,
But see value in afterschool jobs.
They refuse to hire spin doctors.

Premium MemberStarry Little Champs

They illuminate the muse giving it that zeal
Their gleams have a magical feel
 Enchanting us with glowing appeal

They are loved by all across the board
Lighting up the imagination, wonderfully adored
Spreading their glows in joyous accord

Awesome little insects generating micro amps
Fireflies flickering, like starry little champs
Lighting up the night with their little lamps

Chess Game With My Twin Flame

In a game of chess against my twin flame,
We sat across the board and the battle commenced!

With each move we make, we both strive to claim
Victory, but fear of loss makes us both tense.

For we've both been “loved”, but it was not pure,
For past love was just a desire to possess,
To validate themselves as they grow and mature,
At the cost of our happiness.

But with my twin flame, it's different, you see,
She’s an equal to me, a partner in mind,
But still, we both fear to lose ourselves fully,
To someone who may, in the end, be unkind.

So we play this game, with each move so precise,
Hoping to find love, but not at our own sacrifice.

Universal Not For Contest

All around and across the board this is worldwide,
some are without while others feast on their sweat,
give not thy self a blind eye but see the hunger within.

Cast thy gold and silver into the pot melting other hearts,
give not your riches to the rich for they have no need,
look into the eyes of the poor and reach into their broken souls.

For the casket will only hold the body yet gold will feed a soul,
spend your riches today for a need and let want fly away,
Some place cardboard around for warmth while you,

Count your riches of Gold

AAA

I learned to type in Jr. High.
I learned to tap the keyboard.
One letter than another...
on and on.
AAA
AAA
AA Then... B

AAA
AAB
ABB
BBC
...

One day I came to class,
and we all sat right down as usual.
But to my amazement we were free.
We could do CCC, or DDD... Even ZZZ

My heart was lifted from the monotony
of the drills to lift my skills.
Yet in the end,
it was like magic,
my brain told me nothing,
and I told it just the same.
Regardless of our unspoken conversation...
my hands flew across the board,
as if they were made to dance, and prance,
in an orderly fashion.

I love my typing teacher,
for making me better,
than I was...
before I took the class.

Premium MemberA Conversation With Hellboy

Robert: Hellboy, rumor has it you are making Hell a better place.
Hellboy: I do what I can.
Robert: Perhaps you can heal what goes on, on Earth?
Hellboy: You are pushing it man!

Robert: Perhaps it's actually the Right Hand of Peace!
Hellboy: It never was my choice, this hand of mine.
Robert: Try it out, see if it works.
Hellboy: Okay, will do, it's fine.

Robert: We need healing across the board.
Hellboy: It sure is a lot to ask.
Robert: If anyone can help, it's you!
Hellboy: Okay, let me first finish off this flask.

Premium MemberWorld Changer

Yesterday I was on a mission to change the world. I was so passionate about change that it was all I thought about. I lived and breathed” change.”I wanted to live in a unified world. I was young and ready to take on the world. I had new ideas( at least I thought they were). I focused on the things we all had in common. I didn't focus on race, religion, and gender. However, I did acknowledge those things because they were important and core values. In the past, they were the “ things.” that brought division. So I decided to focus on the one main thing that we had in common across the board. I focused on being human and nothing else. For a while, everything was going great, and we were striving, and we were starting to see change. And change takes work. Change can be challenging and uncomfortable at times. We must work on “change”every single day. Yesterday I set out to change the world. But in the end, the world wasn’t ready for change.

One Nation Under God

I’m in the middle, not left nor right.
I believe that strength staves off a fight.
I’m against abortion, but I’m for the choice.
I think every child deserves a voice.

We need more programs that help our kids.
We have so many out on the skids.
Let’s feed the hungry and provide more shelter.
Let’s turn down the heat and help those that swelter.

I’m for equal rights across the board.
I will not judge, that’s for our Lord.
God gave man the gift of free will.
I believe in taxes and paying my bill.

We need prayer and discipline in every school.
We need to be strict, but never cruel.
We need to heal and see we’re flawed.
We need one nation under God.

First day of Lab,
we sat as assigned.
She wrote one word
across the board:

'Laboratory’

She turned and said
"This is a laboratory.
Let’s have more of the first five
and less of the last seven."

The Game of Life

Were you a peg that wouldn't fit?
That peg who missed by just a bit.
A tad too round or oddly square,
   A peg not fitting anywhere.

Your trip through life, a life askew,
Made you wish for something new.
While time passed by, your edges wore.
You longed for less while life sent more.

One day across the board you see
a spot that's simply meant to be.
Life has sanded the edge away
Giving you a chance to play.

Many will get their turn to play.
If a peg won't fit it might someday.
Since our future is often unforseen
Take that chance to find your dream.

Premium MemberShowing Muscle and a Hustle

Thackray thought up a plan
To get three points for the west hams
Called upon Antonio to do a task
“Fetch my friend a theatrical mask
Tell the canary meet for a luncheon
Of course at his dungeon
There will be no bubbles to burst
Only an answer to why Miss Thackray was cursed”
Antonio took the orders
Did contact a reporter
Hornet Daily decided to decline
Meeting with the royals from the new castle on their mind
Evenly spread out
Antonio very calm no need to shout
Four across the board
Before shutting the door
Royals in the new castle
Felt this get together was a hassle
Found a goal early
Surely,
This would separate the west ham from the buzz
Staying united as they always was
Claiming two fouls
Hornets’ staff went to print with a howl
Still on the hammy’s heels
Not investigating if Thackray will ever get another deal
Antonio returned
Successful not burned
Thackray now felt at ease
No longer relegation a tease
Taking a shot of Claret wine
Things getting a good sign
“I will not stalk alone”
Thackray reminder herself in a British tone

Dancing On Ice

Not a more beautiful sight to see then two dancing on ice
holding each others hand while bowing to the crowd
Starting their harmonic swings with such grace and harmony
Then twirling and spinning with loop jumps through the air

Catching her with only inches to spare excitement to much to bear
The sake blades shaving the ice as they create a lutz loop
The edge jump salchow is continued then blended into Axel
While the wind from their speed blows their tassels though the air

With the score of nine all across the board winners they become
Figure Skating is their life a love for ice with beauty beyond compare
The strength and agility involved in preforming such moves while skating
Is underrated by watching the ease they display putting on this ice show
