Premium Member Broken Hearts

A sadistic killer, who enjoys it with relish
A woman desperately in want of love
The age numbers small talk turns to relic
A paedophile never at rest until he gave
A robber on the prowl seeking victims.
Broken hearts need that need mending.

Premium Member Hello Salome

Stay a child of the sun in your life

Because whosoever hath the sun

idfk

im not a poet
nor a genius...
SIKE
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Gotcha!!!!!!!!!
anyways
drumroll please.
...
...
hello?
y'know what?
forget the drumroll...
Fredrick Mitchell's brand new poem...
IDFK

i, don't know...
where to go.
i, forgot,
my way home.
i worked hard, and my brain is mush,
guess i'll black out and faint in a bush.

today was the last day 'til my quota.
my deadline is due,
to bring my poem to you!
i'm tired, and forgot
how to spell the word shew
the thing you put on your foot.

i found my way home,
using google maps
this stupid siri voice, is giving me the craps,
my day has been ruined,
and my day is soon end,
just listen to this voice
"turn down at the bend."
it thinks im driving,
im walking...

this deadpan poem
is getting boring.
and like an old man, im already snoring
i sleepily unlock my door...
and...
my key broke.
FOR FU-
...
ahem,
im too tired for this...
*beep, beep! beep, beep!*
"hey, Frank... can i go to your place. my key broke... again."
...
"yes, i know its the middle of the night."
...
"and i know your on a date."
...
"i've got a key to your house. bye!"
screw my life.

Premium Member Parched Earth

The desire and longings for water was
 enormous
Yet the supplies continue to dwindle year
 after year
The older trees parched by a permanence of thirst
 began to give up

As the waters too began to move southwards
Desolations taken over, only the howling of
 wind storms
and the brave of Camels roams the lands
The landscape has been redesigned on account
 of dryness
The land is parched on account of moisture.

Never forsaken

When you are broken
And it feels like a thousand pieces
Have been broken in your heart
Know that God is with you
And has been from the start
When you loose some one
The Lord mends our broken heart
God brings comfort and peace and joy
23 hours after loosing a loved one
God blessed me with a baby boy
Not to replace tgem but to bring
Comfort
will always miss our loved ones
No matter how much time
Passes by
But God never will forsake us
He is there every step of the way
Never leaving us alone
No matter how long it takes to heal
He understands just how we feel. AMEN

30 years ago my son was born
30 years ago my father died.
God heals Amen

A song I like is titled

Broken vessels by hillsong

Premium Member Deserted

The wind bloweth.......
Bloweth the chaff......
From the grains
The chaff is deserted like the desert
Like the fox in the Maghreb dunes
Deserted like the fig tree in Autumn
That is shedding leaves for winter

They deserted one by one
As they paid their respects
To the departed lying in state
One by one they left as they came
He was left all alone deserted
Death has left its streak of sting
He is a casualty. He is deserted

Premium Member Home sweet Home

The familiar aroma of the
Spices of onions, garlic thyme,
  basil, ginger, black peppers
  and and cinnamon.
These are triggers in active
  response to Mama's soup
This is my home coming.
Home sweet home.

le' tree

le' tree, le' tree.
drop an apple to me.
le' tree, le' tree.
knock my head with a branch tree, please.
please?

pretty please?
with a cherry on top.

le' bush, le' bush.
pick a berry for me.
le' bush, le' bush.
blackberries or blue? you choose.

blackberries, strawberries, bananas count too!
le' tree gave me an orange,
le' bush picked a banana.
the both rhyme to me, I think.
no raspberries, no raspberries, they stinky to me.
no pears, no pears, they taste bad to me,
to le' tree, I plea.

What if I knew

What I knew the darkness, hiding inside of me?
What if I knew what I would be ready to be?
What if I knew why I feel things?
What if knew why I don't have wings?

If I knew what I will change
If I knew how I will behave
If I knew why I am here
And knew the things I fear

Then I will stop trying and having fun
I will wait for the one
The day were it all ends
Thinking I couldn't have changed

Perception of identity

Is it real or is it fake
Has the identity been scraped
From a picture that is right
But not theirs

Is it a business or a fraud
Are photo's copied - don't applaud
Or upload/install a software
They recommend

For these appauling lies
Upon which big business thrives
By stealing all your money
Or taking personal info for bad ends

Whatever it's corrupt
So through police/.gov disrupt
So mind your banks indice
And don't let them destroy your peace

Phone Contacts I Won't Yet Delete

One is named “Another Unfortunately Not to Contact”,
Still with the mugshot at which we giggled.
I try to see what he had as a passing joke,
But he respected that I seriously don’t want to smoke.
He’ll always suit jackets that jingle.

Another’s named “Hurts to Contact”.
We met at a drawing group.
On first word, we clicked.
Their artwork is lit.
We’ve shared our final packet of Hula Hoops.

Another is just a number.
Together, we sang “Hey Jude”.
We watched “Gavin and Stacey”.
He made perfect pastry.
We’ll always love music and food.

As for you,
“Everything Will Be Alright”
Is how your sibling’s number is saved,
Whose buzzcut I used to shave –
Hair that won’t outgrow my memory’s sight.

Your contact is still Luka ??!
With a smiley and exclamation mark.
We are still in touch,
But I think of you too much –
Our conversations heart wrenching to park.

Basket case

i was rotting from the inside
felt it younger
this sentiment of not fitting in
hidden it
putting on a mask
covering it
a spoiled apple in the basket
imitating it's pears
i can no longer blend in
now
i'm rotten from the core and beyond
all see it
the rotten apple
will not last long
