The eleventh month, November, the month that takes a breath,
As it's waiting. Waiting for a fickle sun to decide.
Though sun's decision ever is to skim the sky with stealth,
As if a painter's hand the vibrant stars of night has 'plied.
The short days of muted light unwrap autumn's cold beauty,
While thick blankets on a bed ensure an even slumber.
This month of regimented hours calls us to our duty---
The great preparation for December's Holy number
If you're wondering how long it took for a man to die after crashing a car, five days was how long it took.
The car crash killed him and his ex-wife who was named Stacy Brooks.
He was driving over a hundred miles per hour at midnight, that was really fast.
Stacy died instantly but her ex-husband died about 120 hours after the crash.
Stacy has been dead for the same amount of time that she lived, twenty-five years.
She was a very special lady and her death brought about misery, suffering and tears.
Stacy wasn't stuck up like some other girls who I went to school with, she would talk to me.
It wasn't fair when she died so young, my friend has been dead for a quarter of a century.
Her life ended in 1997 on the seventh of September.
She was a unique person who I will always remember.
[Dedicated to Stacy Brooks (1972-1997) who died a quarter of a century ago today on September 7, 1997]
I set the whole world on fire with my dreams
And use the flame to light a birthday candles
Holding a promise and fulfillment of my dreams
And the accomplishments of some special plans
Many astonishing years have passed by
As I actually look younger by the day
But the spirit is still the same invariably
And I know, I don't look the same as yesterday
This day is marked as the world's best treat
As there is alot of grace and joy in the heart
The day was always interestingly 25th of August
I'll celebrate as there are many blessings in the heart
Have to go forever leaving this dark home
feeling sorrow that nobody will know my last
Silently risen meteor will go to dark gravity burst
Won't update last words of tears before love junction
From unspoken brine won't breathe the last sensation
Won't see nearest blood if this ominous mission keep going on
slowly green to ripe and towards withered
hungriness in the world of unstable motion
death in the chain of life prying recycling born
Birth fixes the death in commencing its journey on this earth
In time asking forgiveness feels regretful more than gratitude
through pure repentance everything under constructed redemption code
I'm here today not as the hunger striker
Feeling regret for full free natural future

I only hear the silence as I stride,
twixt granite chairs neatly set in rows.
The 168 chairs epitomize each life,
now neath a sea of grass that grows.
Today my psyche visits this place,
albeit, here, their Spirits do not rest.
However, a Monument and Reflection pool,
usher memories, as if at their behest.
Still I visualize a chain link fence,
with images, blossoms, pandas and such.
A transitory memorial that reaches out,
to asphyxiated lives, as if to touch.
For certain, I dare not challenge,
the eternal rest, of those who sleep.
But pausing at each chair, in silence,
I recall this day's events and weep.
I would to God, that casualties,
could discern today, my thoughts about.
Then from the quiescence of this place,
would emerge an angelic shout.
For I tire of silence.
Greek Independence Day
March 25, 2019
Congratulations and OPA to the Greek
nation,
Which suffered 400 years of Turkish
domination.
And now you are free!!
Light the Saganaki, pass those very
luscious stuffed grape leaves,too.
Let's have some Mavrodafni and
Have more than a circle dance or two!

You both have been together
For such a long time.
Many more years to follow
I hope you both will find.
Your love has always lasted
It may not have been the best
But you've still got each other
To help get through the rest.
Twenty five years is a long ,
Long time for two people
to be together.
To hold each other in your arms
And love each other forever.
You've still got each other
To both be true.
You've always been there
When the other needed you.
So many times I think about.
The days that used to be
All the special loving things
You both did for me.
Then I think about the present
The bond of love we all share.
It means so much to me
Just having you both there.
As I think about the future
Even though we're miles apart
I know well be close together in thought
Because we're close at heart.
Family love will never part .
Mommy, he hurt me
Somewhere deep inside
I felt her pain
But I couldn’t stop her tears
I searched for someone
Anyone who could make things right again
A friend who might help us
To overcome what has been done
To her, to me
And to all those involved in her life
We were reaching out for that lifeline
Dying within ourselves
No one was there
And no one ever came
(The 25th Floor = my age at the time, of this revelation)
Behold the Christ child is born this day,
just as the prophets of old did say.
In a manger on the cozy hay
did his infant Lordship choose to stay.
No cradle by a thousand kings paid
for, would befit his divine highness
whose crown is celestial and priceless,
glowing with gems of regal brightness.
Yet in a manger so low he laid.
Behold the Christ child, God's timeless gift,
who will from sin's merciless bondage lift
men to heights from where they went adrift
from God's intended realm in Eden.
His birth in yuletide our lives sweeten
with lit golden marbles to lighten
dark alleys which were once stress ridden.
Jean, Jean wis young an' alive till Ah gied her tatties and neeps;
Noo she's bein' seek as a dug, it fairly gies me the creeps.
Bonnie Mary O' Argyle took a trip tae the Brig O' Doon,
She took a dook oaf the parapet, ended up nearly bein' drooned!
Wee sleakit, cooerin', timorous beastie, ye must think it a sin!
Aw the lassies a' ever kent, wanted tae stab me wi' a pin.
Blythe Hae a' Been on Yon Hill, where a Tippling Ballad ah Wrote;
Gude Ale Keeps the Heart Aboon, when ye drink an awfy lote.
A quarter “C” has past
Since you opened your eyes to see
The cooties and spiders
That will haunt you throughout your eternity.
Then there was your smile,
A smile like no other,
A smile that continues to give great joy,
To both me and your mother.

May 25th Praise Day
This morning hope leaps out to meet a wonderful day
thank God, thank God is enough to say
Life's blessings acknowledged for all to see
welcoming more with righteous plea
Living life for others brings rewards by the score
greater life awaits on this distant shore
Once cast adrift , a better home was given
now to begin a new and better livin'.......Robert L.
Parades of parades-
Couples and trios
A Sun present,
Sand rises to a projected
screen in reflected flash-
Smells mixed in sights.
25th December.
Receive this anointing
Fore She keeps hunting
christianity's doctrine,
Early this morning
I mean in every country,
Rhythmic spirit of happiness
Keeps walking
As the streets are never boring,
Inside each door every family is
Cooking,
Some baking maybe frying,
Expecting relations to come knocking
And await the joyful request to
Come in.
She children riding on a donkey,
On the field merriment is grouped
In dozens.
I love the way the sky glitters,
Dad bought me two new slippers,
My Mum just delivered a cute baby
Sister.
I am watching a play of the magician,
He turned a chair into a tall giraffe.
Praise the Good LORD for those who
Can scream Glory,
This day on the page of my bible
Renews man's hope,
I pledge to the unity and growth
As christmas will forever be my
Humanity's oath.

Marriage is not a boat
rowing gently down the stream
It is a family car
that for years and years
surprisingly passed the MOT
The mechanic looks worried
asks carefully about
the possible possibility
of a new model
But you shake no
see you next year
we still like our ride
we do not care
about an extra rattle now and then
Fill her up with super plus
because we still have a long way to go
