Happy 25th Anniversary

Today marks the 25th year of our marriage.
Although 25th years may seem like a
short time to others.
But nevertheless- love is not measure by a period of time, but in timeless moments.
And our 25th years have been the wondrous and blessing years to be glad.
Darling, we score more than others did!
A few milestones down and many more
to beat... LOL! Sure we can!
To reminiscing on how this day started its beginning of infinity,
Darling your smile is forever the light of my heart my soul.
The joy of all the ups and downs we've had that made us even more appreciative and love deeper- for those we are very grateful!
Year after year we're making more memories that are priceless and so precious we'll treasure them to infinite length- for those are the treasures to our hearts!
May we continue always, to take time and pursue each other to understand one's need
And may we continue to fulfill our dreams to a length of time.
Darling, thank you a thousand times for being my champion of heart,
My soulmate
I love you beyond words can express
but you already know- "Forever is how long I love you!"

Happy 25th year anniversary darling...

A friend asked me to write her a poem to her husband of 25th years of marriage. She loved it and told me I should post it here on PS...

The eleventh month, November, the month that takes a breath,
As it's waiting. Waiting for a fickle sun to decide.
Though sun's decision ever is to skim the sky with stealth,
As if a painter's hand the vibrant stars of night has 'plied.

The short days of muted light unwrap autumn's cold beauty,
While thick blankets on a bed ensure an even slumber.
This month of regimented hours calls us to our duty---
The great preparation for December's Holy number

For Zach On His 25th Birthday

In my mind's eye I still see him
running down the beach,
Little arms flailing as if
flying was in reach,
white-blond hair a mass of curls,
ringlets of spun gold,
in my mind's eye I still see him
as a toddler, two years old.

How he loved the ocean then,
how he truly loved the sea,
leaving tiny little footprints
when he was two, or maybe three.
In my mind's eye I still see him
running by the shore,
in my mind's eye he will always
be three, or maybe four.

In my mind's eye I still see him
as if time had never passed
(though that fantasy is broken
by any looking-glass),
Soon, he will be married on
that beach where he still runs
in my mind's eye young forever
building castles in the sun.

In my mind's eye I still see him,
when I was young and felt alive,
those days slipped by so quickly
and now he's twenty-five.
Time flew by as quickly as he
once flew down the sand,
in my mind's eye he's a baby
in reality, a man.

July 25th Day of Time Out

On July 25 walking up the mountain that is sacred to the Wamapoke in PA,
since I could not make it to the Mayan Temples in Mexico.

I was out of breath because my body was too heavy to carry my own weight
But I rose early that morning and I was determined to honor the Day of Time Out.

The Earth leading up to the mountain was wet from the morning dew and that night I had a vision that a black man was to be honored by the Mayan Gods and Goddess.

After complaining to myself that my feet were soaking like a sponge, I made it to the top of the summit and said a Morning Prayer to welcome the sun and the Mayan New Year.

I prayed that the Mayan God and Goddess blessed my family, the Earth and me.
The Mayan God and Goddess said “Do Not Worry” and my response was because I have everything that I need on the Earth.

I thought I had the mountain to myself besides the birds who I called to enjoin me in the Morning Prayer. Without a moment’s notice a small bird flew up to my face and that made me a little nervous.

But then a Red Winged Black Bird flew over my head and was hovering like a bumble bee. Then I thought about the vision I was blessed by the Mayan God and Goddess who return like Quetzalcoatl every year on July 25th The Day of Time Out.

And even though I was tired a young white bare-chested boy with black running tights and sneakers was running up the mountain like a gazelle as a young Mayan sacrifice to help bring in the new as I the old came down the mountain to share the message of a new hope and a new joy and a new beginning.

25th Wedding Anniversary

Marriage is not a boat
rowing gently down the stream

It is a family car
that for years and years
surprisingly passed the MOT

The mechanic looks worried
asks carefully about
the possible possibility
of a new model

But you shake no
see you next year
we still like our ride
we do not care
about an extra rattle now and then

Fill her up with super plus
because we still have a long way to go

Parades of parades-
Couples and trios
A Sun present,
Sand rises to a projected
   screen in reflected flash-
Smells mixed in sights.

A quarter “C” has past
Since you opened your eyes to see
The cooties and spiders
That will haunt you throughout your eternity.

Then there was your smile,
A smile like no other,
A smile that continues to give great joy,
To both me and your mother.

25 Years Together

You both have been together
For such a long time.
Many more years to follow
I hope you both will find.
Your love has always lasted
It may not have been the best
But you've still got each other
To help get through the rest.
Twenty five years is a long ,
Long time for two people
to be together.
To hold each other in your arms
And love each other forever.
You've still got each other
To both be true.
You've always been there
When the other needed you.
So many times I think about.
The days that used to be
All the special loving things
You both did for me.
Then I think about the present
The bond of love we all share.
It means so much to me
Just having you both there.
As I think about the future
Even though we're miles apart
I know well be close together in thought
Because we're close at heart.
Family love will never part .

Jean, Jean wis young an' alive till Ah gied her tatties and neeps;
Noo she's bein' seek as a dug, it fairly gies me the creeps.

Bonnie Mary O' Argyle took a trip tae the Brig O' Doon,
She took a dook oaf the parapet, ended up nearly bein' drooned!

Wee sleakit, cooerin', timorous beastie, ye must think it a sin!
Aw the lassies a' ever kent, wanted tae stab me wi' a pin.

25th December, 0ce

Behold the Christ child is born this day,
just as the prophets of old did say.
In a manger on the cozy hay
did his infant Lordship choose to stay.
No cradle by a thousand kings paid
for, would befit his divine highness
whose crown is celestial and priceless,
glowing with gems of regal brightness.
Yet in a manger so low he laid.

Behold the Christ child, God's timeless gift,
who will from sin's merciless bondage lift
men to heights from where they went adrift
from God's intended realm in Eden.
His birth in yuletide our lives sweeten
with lit golden marbles to lighten
dark alleys which were once stress ridden.

25th December

25th December.

Receive this anointing
Fore She keeps hunting
christianity's doctrine,
Early this morning
I mean in every country,
Rhythmic spirit of happiness
Keeps walking
As the streets are never boring,
Inside each door every family is
Cooking,
Some baking maybe frying,
Expecting relations to come knocking
And await the joyful request to
Come in.
She children riding on a donkey,
On the field merriment is grouped
In dozens.
I love the way the sky glitters,
Dad bought me two new slippers,
My Mum just delivered a cute baby
Sister.
I am watching a play of the magician,
He turned a chair into a tall giraffe.
Praise the Good LORD for those who
Can scream Glory,
This day on the page of my bible
Renews man's hope,
I pledge to the unity and growth
As christmas will forever be my
Humanity's oath.

Thursday, June 20, 2013: the 25th Anniversary

Thursday, June 20, 2013, will be the 25th anniversary of my life. It will have been 25
years since I've been born. Of course, I've had my ups and downs, I made some mistakes
from my life, but despite all that, I'm still a human being. There's a lot of good things
that had happened me for the last 25 years: I've met some interesting girls, I've been to
different states, including Missouri, and I've made some new friends. My mother had been
raising me for the last 25 years and I thank her for that. Of course, I've experienced
heartbreak after heartbreak, even in my teens, but it was worth it. But even if I get a
girlfriend before my 25th birthday arrives, I'm still the youngest. It will have been 25
years since I'd been born. But even if my 25th birthday will have been over by midnight,
it'll be a 25th birthday that I'll never forget. And as for me and my family, it's going
to be a 25th anniversary of a real lifetime.

This morning hope leaps out to meet a wonderful day

thank God, thank God is enough to say

Life's blessings acknowledged for all to see

welcoming more with righteous plea

Living life for others brings rewards by the score

greater life awaits on this distant shore

Once cast adrift , a better home was given

now to begin a new and better livin'.......Robert L.

December 25th

Winter is indeed my flavor,
Which makes you my
Snow King.

And a pillar comprised of
Carbonite and an iron
Imposition—you still
Hold on to me.

Beyond your fortress is your
Sweet pillow—on which
I lay and coo in
Comfort as you
Warm me.

Greetings, lover,
Renewed like a
Christmas carol
Falling for a
Songbird.
