Memories in Appalachia reveals a piece of the past that will forever be chiseled on my soul, a reminder of the treasure I had within my grasp as a child. God's Kind of Poetry shares a part of me that feels so blessed with the relationship I have with my heavenly Father, the most powerful Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Foundations of Marriage is a personally inspired poem that came to me during a particularly rough time in life. I feel sure that it came from my heart. Blessings are thoughts on my love for Christ and all that He has done and continues to do for me with His presence. Unconditional Love is the only love worth giving, having, sharing, bearing. It is the only love that awakens the soul and restores the broken heart. Angel Dog is about a special dog that will always be with me in my heart. He was my angel dog!!! Thank You, God is a reflective poem that was written as I recalled special days spent by the creek in my hometown. Love is Alive is a poem about how I feel on the inside about my personal relationship with God's son, the One I give my heart to and share all my dreams with. Praise God is a reminder to me that I must keep praising the Creator of it all, forever and always, with my heart and soul. I AM is a poem that defines me, with all my hidden eccentricities, dreams and ideas. It is a piece of me. 10 Poems that define me Poetry Contest, sponsored by Line Gauthier May 8, 2020
