Praise God

Praise God, my heavenly Father Who listens to my every prayer With love that knows no conditions He is a friend who is so very rare Praise God, the One who looks out for me When I don’t know where to turn He is there A welcoming Hand, guiding me through life With the assurance that He is always aware Praise God, my Creator, the giver of my life Without a doubt, He brings me joy and hope I know that I can lean on Him through the worst And He will always cheer me with a way to cope Praise God, the Good Shepherd, the One and Only Lord Who whispers soft inspirations and happiness into my spirit Godly wisdom that will always help me to believe in peace With the knowledge that when I speak a prayer He does listen Praise God, who gave my heart the purpose it needed To reach out in life, toward love, hope and faith in Him Grace abounds to sinners like me who take His hand And believe that He will be with them even when things are grim Praise God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit; the trinity Who are three in one – the alpha and omega, the first and last The answer to all my worries, needs and prayers They touch my heart in ways I could never have asked Praise God, who saved my soul from the depths of hell With Him I’m certain that I have the hope of heaven inside With Him, I know what it means to be sure of salvation He knows my heart, my thoughts; inside me, He does abide
