What to Submit?
1 original, poem on the theme of
1 original, poem on the theme of your choice...humorous or serious.
Any form is acceptable, however, TWO LINES OF RHYME ONLY, PLEASE!!!!! MORE THAN TWO LINES (A COUPLET) WILL BE ELIMINATED AUTOMATICALLY. Give me the best two RHYMING lines you think you've ever written.
This is a Premiere Contest, so you are vying for a trophy. First place out of 50 entries would be quite an achievement. I will be very strict in the judging, which will be blind, but the winners will be couplets that particularly appeal to me. If you read my poetry, you should know by now the sorts of things that appeal to me. Please do not contact me regarding this contest. The rules are quite simple, so let's see what you can do, Soupers!
From the responses, I believe Soupers are enjoying this type of contest. So, let's try it again. Give me your best!

English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
