Contest Description
What to Submit? Choose ONE of the following random phrases and use them in a creative poem about whatever you are inspired to write about. These are randomly choosen from various poems I've wrote.
1. And the learner needs to repeat the lesson 2. As we stroll through this maze called life 3. because that is what we are told to do 4. And my soul was scared 5. the helping hand someone needs 6. that illuminates the sky 7. I shop in search of me 8. clearing those temper demons out 9. great egg 10. explosion of ideas in my mind 11. even if you don't think your candle is bright 12. I need to breath and want to relax 13. yet the sound of pounding rain 14. and it is clear that you need me 15. don't try to make me just like you 16. white cells, red cells, hemoglobian 17. and I admit that it is true 18. and it is my job you see 19. My strength is inner content 20. stick with me beside you

Preparing Your Entry
1. Choose one phrase out of my list and use it WORD FOR WORD exactly as it appears somewhere in the poem. Make sure it is in bold print so I can find it.
2. I don't want to judge a long poem, but I also don't want to judge a really short poem, therefore it should 8 to 16 lines.
3. If I need to use a Thesarus for your poem, I am not choosing it.
4. I need some rhyming worked into this poem.
Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
