Stumbling, as we stroll through this maze called life,
we're beset by obstacles in our path.
And when lost, we turn to the afterlife,
worshiping God; because we fear His wrath.
We cast votes for corrupt politicians
because; that is what we are told to do.
And accept deplorable conditions,
so the many may benefit the few.
So please, don't try to make me just like you;
I chose to worship God from love, not fear.
And I'll not blindly vote how I'm told to,
I will stand up for the truths I hold dear.
I'll not diminish God's gift of free will,
I'm human, not an ant in an anthill.
