Contest Description
To enter this contest and win a signed copy of one of my books, you need to submit a poem on any theme using the “Free Verse form”... from 18 to 30 lines, no more, no less. Only the first-place winner will receive a copy of one of my books; all other placements are for Glory.
Free Verse
A term describing various styles of poetry that are not written using strict meter or rhyme but they are still recognizable as 'poetry' by their complex patterns of one sort or another that readers can perceive to be part of a coherent whole.
For this contest, you may write on any theme you wish.

Unfortunately, so many good poems get disqualified for not doing so!
All submitted poems must use the following:

when checking for grammar, rhymes, or syllable counts ...no other programs will be acceptable.
Rules:
1) "AI" poems are not acceptable
2) Do Not Place Your Name, Title, or “Anything Else On Your Poem Page!”
3) True rhymes only, no near rhymes
4) Be True To The Form you choose
5) Only submit poems relative to this contest; all others will not be read.
6) Must be a new poem as of Oct.30, 2024.
