Contest Description

Please go to "Famous Poets" on "Poetrysoup".  Click under "Yeats, William Butler" to find his poem "All Things Can Tempt Me" in the alphabetical list of poems.

Please write a poem about what things tempt you away from writing poetry. Use the rhyme AA   BB CC DD EE (like Yeats) - 10 lines, 10-11 syllables per line, "Rhyme" only.  Humour is welcome, but keep it clean!  Religion - fine, if RELEVANT.  Begin your poem "All things can tempt me", but DO NOT quote the entire Yeats line.

Usual date, contest, sponsor included.  My poem "Excuses, Excuses" is my effort on the theme.
