WOW!!!! What a Weekend

Well I have to say I had an enormous blast at the 'Oscars' and although I didn't win - I made 4th place which, considering there were over 450 entries, is no mean feat and I'm very happy and proud to have made the top 4.

I received a lovely certificate and met some really nice people at the event.

I also had a great time looking around Nottingham and had a drink in the oldest pub in England, talking weddings with my daughters. It was lovely spending time together - just the three of us, and it took me back to the many times we had together when they were younger. In these days when we are all so busy working full time, its so hard for us all to get together so it was lovely to have them with me this weekend.

Time flies by so fast and our children are grown and leaving home before we know it and times like the one we had at the weekend are so precious - them being with me when I received my award made it every bit more special.

Thank you all for your lovely comments on my previous blog - you're faith in my work makes me so proud - maybe next time - I'll bring the oscar home

So glad you were able to enjoy your time with your daughters. York has so many pubs you can go to a different one every day for a year. Some date back to the time of Henry VIII.
