The weather has definately changed over here in blighty this week, especially up here in Cumbria. I have woke this week to chills in the air and morning mists and the nights are beginning to shorten quite quickly now.
Up at the project where I work (based on an old farm site), the leaves on the trees are beginning to turn and here and there you see traces of red and gold.
Luckily for me, I live 30 minutes from some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK - the Lake District - and when Autumn comes, it becomes a living tapestry of colour. My daughter and I are going to take a trip there on sunday to take some pics (my other love is photography). How can you fail to be inspired when you are surrounded by such beauty - it's no wonder Wordsworth was such a wordsmith.

If I could fathom out how to put a pic on my blog You would have seen something beautiful but if you check out my blog photos you will see Ulswater at Autumn - this is where I am going on sunday
