Variation on a Triolet

Grandfather Clock - I have re-written this poem, reversing the last two lines in a stanza from AB to BA, giving an intersting variation to the Triolet form. The rhyming scheme is then ABaAabBA. I have also added a second stanza to give the poem more detail..

I instinctively did this with the first triolet which I wrote years ago (no longer here on PS). Reversing the order of the last two lines, lends interest to the poem and might even put a new spin on their meaning.
