Missing poems

I know this has been reported before but I have been struck by the missing poem effect. I entered my new piece 'The Argument' then I went back to 'My Poems. and noticed my previous poem 'The Caterpillar' was missing. Each time I left my poem list then went back again another poem had gone. Before I gave up trying to see if I could go back to a previous page I had lost four poems. At no time did I open the poems or access them in any way. The worst of it is that I had some very encouraging comments and the poems had gone before I could reply. There must be a glitch in the software somewhere.

Other than poems that are removed for profanity (this is automated) there really isn't a way for this to occur. In fact, even if you intentionally delete a poem, you receive a confirmation popup before doing so.

I know, it's very strange. I posted 'The Argument' but had to edit it to the format I wanted. I used the Edit Key then Update Poem then opened the poem from My Poems. I was surprised to see that my most recent poem 'Caterpillar' had disappeared. I needed to edit 'The Argument' again then another poem disappeared. I know they were there because I keep an independent log of posts and I had comments on them. In all, three disappeared with no confirmation popup.

I had the same a while ago... Lost one of my dearest poems.. Oh I still have it on my blog, but as you say, this poem had the most wonderful comments, and I still mourn that :(

Thank you, Jan, at least I do have copies. I couldn't believe it, I just watched them disappear one by one.
