Been Away For a While

Hello, I have been busy for a while and have not been posting but I do read occassionalluy. First, thank you to all those who have commented on my poems whilst I have not been here. Very saddened to see Jan Allison's write about Teppo Grenn. I regarded his work highly, he was a natural Sonateer. If I knew anybody wanted an example of modern Sonnets I always put his name on the list. A great loss having removed all his work. I have just posted a short story, 'Mr. Widdy and the Meteor Shower.' Hope to be posting poems again soon.

I think many people were shocked that he left and removed all his poems, sadly he will not be back:-( He was standing up for his friend who was being targeted on the site. An excellent poet and a man of integrity who is sorely missed. Glad you are back Barry, there are many who are not so active on the site recently:-( hugs Jan xx

Hi Barry...welcome back. I too have just started again on the Soup after a few months away....it is taking me awhile to get into the swing of the contests and making time each day to read, comment and be a part of the Soup team...I hope you will find it (PS)an inspiration to start writing again!
